Budweiser - Eight years on

Advantages: Crisp, reasonably priced
Disadvantages: Like all alcohol, hangovers if consumed excessively :0)

...Lounging in my back garden, following an overdose of barbecued food and six budweisers (and now on my seventh), it occured to me how boring the budweiser bottle actually is. A standard brown bottle with a typically American style label. I thought, this beer is built on reputation. Having drank Bud since I was eighteen, I cannot honestly say why I chose this particular beer as my regular tipple. However, it all came flooding back to me. Eight years ago, after a game of football with a few friends, we decided to go to the local pub for a few beers (this was a new experience, I usually consumed alcohol at parties, etc!). Budweiser design new label in UK.

...Budweiser. So those people at Budweiser have decided to slightly change the labels on their bottles then and add a little bit of gold. Well personally, I think they look rather nice with a bit of gold on. More regal. But I am not sure it is really going to encourage me to drink more Budweiser. Although the drink is very nice, bottled beer in the pub is just not wise, more expensive than a pint and not as much to drink. I think instead of spending the money of adding gold to the labels, they should cut down production costs and give the consumer considerable savings on Budweiser beers. But fair play to the design company, it does look nicer and I am impressed by the addition....

Lighten up, BUD

Advantages: Not many

I May As Well Drink Water

Advantages: Inexpensive - at least in the U.S.
Disadvantages: Watery, not very flavorful

...Being from the United States, Budweiser is a very popular beer all over the country. It's relatively inexpensive, and the television advertisements are among the most entertaining around. Just wait until Super Bowl time in January, and you'll have quite a sideshow with their commercials alone. If any festivals are about, there are sure to be "Bud Girls" flitting about, scantilly clad and tarty-looking. Hey, why not be kind and cater to the ladies, Budweiser? It's a shame that Budweiser does not put as much umph into their beer as they do into their advertising campaigns. Budweiser beer simply doesn't measure up on the taste buds. If you've ever read any of my previous opinions about various wines, you'll guess that I have quite a hearty (or even heavy palate). Bottle of Bud Anyone?

Advantages: Good taste and texture.
Disadvantages: Bottles are smashable on contact... obviously.

...Budweiser, in my personal opinion wipes the floor of all other leading Lagers I have tasted. However, this great taste comes at an understandable cost, the cost! It is considerably more expensive than most of its rivals (Stella, Grolsh, Fosters, Carlsburg and Carling)... so the question is, 'do you buy this Lager or a cheaper alternative?' There are many valid positives I can outline when refering to a 'bottle of bud' which you simply dont find in other drinks: 1)In some of Budweiser's rivals you wont find they produce bottled Lager, but instead stick to the can --> This is no good. A bottle (in my opinion) has a much richer taste in comarision to a crushable, 'flimsy' can. Advantages: Available everywhere, smooth taste, doesn't give me a hangover

...Whhazzzup! Not a very original, title for a Budweiser opinion but hey, their adverts are great aren’t they! I normally drink Budweiser (commonly known as Bud) wherever I go. I was originally a Fosters Ice girl but over time (and a few bottles) I find that it can become quite sickly. Budweiser is different though as to me, it does not have the overly strong taste of Stella or the weaker strength of some other bottled beers. As with all lagers / beers Bud is best served chilled. I tend to drink Bottles of Bud in pubs (presently £1.59 in Moons/Wetherspoons) or from a four pack. Yesterday I bought a pack of 4 x 440ml cans from my local BP Petrol Station for £5.16.
