Advantages: some great songs, great lyrics
Disadvantages: neil young only sings a few tracks

...buffalo springfield is the debut album from the rock and roll hall of famers, featuring folk rock giants stephen stills and neil young. this album features an ecletic mix of 12 tracks including the famous 'for what its worth'. the rest of the songs are perhaps not as instantly recognisable but in general the quality of the songs is very good. there is a good mix between laid back folk-rock such as 'hot dusty roads', 'out of my mind' and 'do i have to come right out and say it' to the frenetic blues of 'leave' and everything in between. lyrically this album is very good as all the songs are either stills or young originals and the musicianship is very solid if not groundbreaking. stephen stills exerts the most influence on this album, taking lead vocals or lead guitar on the majority of tracks. Neil young only has a couple of songs...

...The Background About a month back I spotted an amazing deal on sendit.com, 5 DVDs for £15. You can't beat that, I thought, and proceeded to view the available titles in this promotion. Much to my surprise there were a few good ones up there, so I picked 3 that I had seen/wanted to see, and 2 "fillers" that I hadn't actually heard of before, "The Negotiator" and "Buffalo '66". Little did I know what a good find this last one would be. The Review Buffalo '66 is a film from 1998 which is directed by, acted in and score composed by, Vincent Gallo. It has received a nice 7.3/10 from www.imdb.com, one of the higher possible scores, and also stars Christina Ricci and Anjelica Huston, along with a small role for Mickey Rourke. A big box of data outside of my PC

Advantages: fast, high capacity, looks good, reliable, easy to use
Disadvantages: it makes my other drives look bad

...There comes a time when you need to get an external hard drive, after all there is a limit to how many internal ones you can attach to a motherboard (varies, normally about 3). I personally use a lot of drive space, going into the terabytes, so every now and then I have to attach a new external HD. This time I bought this one, and I am quite happy with it. An important feature that the DriveStation fulfills is that it looks nice. Its more important than manufacturers often think, as first impressions are often lasting impressions - and the first impression I got from this was professional and ruthlessly efficient. The 500GB is generous considering it only cost me £100 or so, which is pretty damn good for external drives. 500GB will last me a good couple of months, then I reckon I will go and buy myself another of these beasts...

Hotel Duo - Prague

...Just returned fron Prague and thought this hotel definitely deserved a review! Me and my boyfriend stayed here for four nights Sunday - Thursday. Where is it? The Hotel Duo is not right in the centre of Prague, you do have to do a bit of traveling - but this is pain free and pretty simple. From the airport we booked a transfer online, this cost us 650Kc. This works out at about £14, this is each way for up to 4 people. The hotel offers taxi transfers slightly cheaper than this which can be booked on their website before for your arrival, and booked in the hotel for departure. They also offer a minibus service to the airport for up to 8 people. This cost about £25 which is very reasonable. Other ways to get to the hotel are to get a bus (119) from the airport to the Dejvicka metro station, which is on the green line...
