It's a superb idea which is continually being improved; I was told by the owner of the shop in which I bought it that it has recently been redesigned to fit onto almost any buggy. It's an ingenious piece of engineering that allows you to fix a skateboard-type platform onto the back of a buggy or pram, so that an older child can ride on the back while you push a baby in the actual buggy. Micralite Buggy - Excellent choice!

Advantages: Light, easy to use. One hand fold and openning. Great looking
Disadvantages: Doesn't recline alot. Not suitable for hanging shooping bags

...I used the Micralite travel system when I had my first baby. I it light, easy to use, reasonably priced and great looking.... definitely turns heads! It is compatible with the Maxi-Cosi car seat.... added bonus if your car has Isofix. It's opens and closes with one hand and you can also push it easily with one hand. Great advantage if you have another child or a using the mobile. The large rare wheels detach easily for storage. This buggy has travelled the world with me, it is so light and easy to use that I didn't need to purchase and additional stroller. I would reccommend the foot muff for the winter and sun shade for the summer. The travel bag was great for holidays. Gives that little more protection. The only fault with it is it doesn't recline a lot and also you can't hang many bags on it as it topple. But...

...When I found out that I was expecting my third child I decided that I would need a double buggy as my 3 year old is quite a monkey and we walk near a busy road daily. I know that at the age of 3 most children are walking but I think that it is best to keep your child safe. My partner and I tried so many pushchairs out but none were suitable for a 3 year old and a newborn baby. It was either that my child was too big or the pushair was too big to fit on pavements and through doorways etc. We looked at the Phil and Teds Sport model but the seat that you attatch to the top was just too small and my daughters head was above the hood (not a good look). ...MACLAREN QUEST ----- I love this buggy, i had it for my daughter when she was 3 and she i pretty tall and still she looked so comfortable in it, then again i do love most maclarens they are very strudy and durable you can always seem to trust them. This comes in a range of funky colours to suit everyone, it is very easy t o push and handle and i found i could push it one handed when needed. The shopping basket is average size but its pretty strong and can hold quite a bit of shopping, i bought a baby pink one which did get dirty very quickly but maclaren have made it very easy to strip all the covers off and stick them in the washing machine which is fantastic for them messy little fingers! its also super easy to fold and very easy to store as its nice and slim and also light to carry the only problem i have had with it is...

The coolest buggy about town!

Advantages: One handed fold, lightweight, stands upright alone when folded, looks fab!
Disadvantages: Harder to fold when footmuff lining is in situ.

Phil&Teds Sports Buggy - My experience

Advantages: brilliant steering, great range of products, stylish

...I am pleased to say that I purchased the buggy six months ago having read reviews about it on the internet, researching prices at retailers and talking to people that I saw using the buggy on the streets. Everything I heard was positive so I went ahead and bought it. I am impressed with the amount of extras that are available and the colour options that you can choose from (I choose the red one). There is a kit to convert the buggy into a double pushchair, cocoon for newborns, converter for car seat, various bags and holders to attach to the buggy. The best range I have seen has been from Kiddicare.com but I bought mine from Mothercare as they had a deal on at the time. The buggy itself is very easy to steer, it feels incredibly light but at the same time very sturdy. I have to take the pushchair down 13 steps in our front garden...

Micralite buggy, Pros and cons

...I bought the microlite buggy as I wanted a buggy that wouldn't take up too much space in the boot of the car but would be stable and easy to push. I already owned a Mothercare urban detour 3 wheelier that was excellent but was very bulky. I needed a more lightweight buggy as my son was now 15 months and walking some of the time and didn't need such a sturdy vehicle. I chose the micralite as it's folded dimensions were one of the smallest. And although it was a 4 wheel buggy the small front wheels were rotational and not fixed like other buggies. A great stylish buggy

Advantages: Lightweight , comfy and stylish!
Disadvantages: Small shopping basket, easily tips up with lots of shopping ung on back!

...This buggy is extraordinary. At about £120 its not cheap and cheerful. I have used this with my first born who is now 3yrs. She was in it from about 18 months old and found it very comfy. The pushing was easy for me to, the swivel wheels and lightweight aspect made this really popular and at the time the shopping bags on the back of the pushchair didnt prove to be a problem. However i kept the buggy and used it with my newborn, she was comfy and slept well, the lie back facility was perfect. However put a heavy bag on the back and it was unstable, you couldnt take a hand off the buggy of it would tip! Not good!! The shopping basket was so small it was useless frankly! The pockets on the back of the hood were handy and the hood itself was stylish with a good viewing window. Raincover was easy to put on and folded nice...

McLaren Techno XT buggy

...I bought the Maclaren Techno XT buggy as a replacement for a cheaper model I had to return to store. I chose this particular model based on what I had heard of the brand name and also because it was light weight and appeared to be durable. The pushchair will last a family for many years as it is quite roomy and will grow with a child.. As it has a 4 position adjustable seat it can be used for a child from birth. My son likes to sit up and although he is only 5 months old, it is possible for him to sit semi upright in this buggy and take in the world as he pleases. It has suspension on both the front and the rear wheels that make it very easy to push as well as swivel/ lockable wheels. I don't use the lockable facility as this makes the pushchair difficult to turn. The only use I have found for the lockable wheels is...
