.... The District Nurse suggested that I try some Nestle Build-up, at that time I had heard of them but that was as much as I knew. The chemist stocked them in strawberry, vanilla, chocolate and banana flavour, I chose the strawberry flavour knowing that Mum enjoyed that fresh taste. I fully understood that as much as Mum wanted to be able to enjoy some `real food` at that point in time she just wasn't able to cope with it. Nestle Build-Up was a good way forward, at least the fruity milk shakes were easy to drink and simple to digest and they made me feel secure in the knowledge that I was at least trying to help the situation along. There are four separate sachets of Nestle Build-Up in each box and I paid somewhere in the region of £2.50 for the box at our local pharmacy. Review of The Original Factory Shop (Department Stores)

Cheap and Cheerful

Advantages: Provides good coverage. Lasts all day. Cheap. Easy to use. No clogging. No flaking.
Disadvantages: Not a well known name.

.... All you have to do is simply run the bristles over the eyelashes and it seems to do the rest for you. It seems to spread the lashes out, making them look fuller and to me it seems to add the illusion of length. It doesn?t say anything about being able to do this; it just says it is a build up mascara. This name gives me the impression that you are able to apply a couple of layers of this product and it just seems to enhance and not clog. *****************LASTING CAPABILITIES***************** With some other mascara I have noticed flaking. I wear this mascara all day and once it is on, it is on. I have no need to top it up through out the day and I have no need to constantly check my eyes, for flakes. In fact, I have found it a little difficult to remove, but in my experience I would rather have mascara that is hard to remove...

Disappointment after a Big Build Up

Advantages: Smells nice, not tested on animals
Disadvantages: Expensive, makes hair feel caked and heavy

...it it looked OK, if a little flat, but felt really greasy and my fingers would get stuck if I tried to run them flirtatiously through my mane. Upon looking again at the bottle, I noticed another claim: "Coats and controls split ends" - this is obviously why my hair felt so heavy. 'Well in fairness to the product', I thought 'I did leave it on longer than recommended and maybe I didn't rinse it properly'. So I washed my hair as normal the next day to get rid of any build-up and tried again the day after. This time, I decided to go for a 60-second application instead of my normal conditioner, made sure I applied it mostly to the ends and only a tiny smidge at the roots, and concentrated really hard on rinsing it out properly. It occurred to me whilst doing this that hair products are not something one should have to concentrate on first...

Great polish for building up your colour collection.

Advantages: Easy application, quick drying, nice consistency.
Disadvantages: Needs more than one coat for a decent coverage.

...between coats (say 10 minutes or so) or else I find it chips very quickly. Lasting wise - well, like all polishes, it depends on your lifestyle, but on my hands it lasts for around 3 days before it starts to wear off and chip. I think this is reasonable for a "cheap and cheerful" product. The polish can be removed easily and it doesn't stain your nails - which is a problem I find with many of the darker cheaper polishes on the market. All in all, Rimmels 60 seconds range is a good nail varnish if you are looking for a decent application, quick drying, cheap and cheerful polish in a variety of colours to build up your collection. Summary: Good price for a reasonably good polish. I have also written this review on Doohoo under the same name....

Advantages: It's fun to conquer other empires!
Disadvantages: It's hard to begin with

...Civilizations 2 is a stratedgy game which allows you to build up your own empire and conquer others. It seems similar to civ to begin with but as you get futher into the game (i.e you v'e built your first city, settler and warrior units) you start to realise it's a lot harder. For example your choice of government is more important and so to build an empire which is highly enlightened with knowledge you must build many libraries and turn workers into scientists. To have an 100% science rate you need a Democratic government which means you have to make the advances needed to discover democracy. With civ 2 your advisers talk to you, they suggest improvements you could make and how you can make them which is a big help when you're not sure what to do next. Slow start...building up to a crescendo of comedy

Advantages: cast still sparkle, loose ends tied up, steadily gets funnier as it goes along, a MUST for American Pie fans

If you don't know myoffers is a site where you fill in a survey and they enter you into a prize draw, they also have promotions where is you find so many mouse mats you receive a free mouse mat, as far as I am aware there is no limit to how many you can get, (I have had 5), this offer has now changed and you go on a treasure hunt and when you have found so many treasure chests you can pick the reward that you want.
