...I've often looked at Burt's Bees products and thought they must be good with all their natural ingredients, so I recently made my first purchase from them - a Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil, which cost me a measly £3.49 from Boots. The lip balm comes in the usual stick form with a twist-up action like a lipstick. The tube is yellow and it has a pink pull-off lid. The stick contains 0.15oz, or 4.25g, of product, which is pretty much average for a lip balm. Burt's Bees say that this replenishing and hydrating natural lip balm is infused with the antioxidant goodness of pomegranate oil. It replenishes moisture to reveal smooth, healthy lips, while it coats them for an even-toned appearance. Burt's Bees Carrot Nutritive Body Lotion

Advantages: made from recyled material, not tested on animals, smell is quite nice
Disadvantages: Leaves a greasy feeling on my skin, takes quite a long time to absorb

...Recently I was given a Burt's Bees gift bag with lots of Burt's Bees miniatures in it. One of these was the 'Carrot Nutritive Body Lotion'. The bottle I got was a 29.5ml size, but it is also available to buy in a full sized bottle which holds 236ml and costs around £13. Burt's Bees products are quite easy to get a hold of, with a lot of shops selling them. They are also widely available online. The miniature bottle looks exactly the same as the full sized bottle, just a lot smaller! The bottle is made of yellow plastic and has a white plastic screw top lid. It has pictures of carrots on the label along with the name of the product in nice, clear, red font. ...Burt's Bees hand salve is a god-send in a little tin. Not only can it be used for hands that need a little bit of TLC, but for all other areas of dry skin you may have. The product is packed full of natural and high quality ingredients including almond oil, olive oil, beeswax and vitamin E Oil. All which help nourish and moisturise damaged or cracked skin. ...I first discovered Burt's Bees products at my local health food store several years ago. I'm writing this review while sitting in bed with my laptop, as I often do. I look to my left, and on my nightstand are two Burt's Bee's products, one of which is the lip balm. I keep Burt's lip balm and cuticle creme, as well, on my night table so that I use them every night before I go to sleep. This is not a lip gloss, I think of it as more of my daily regimen to keep my body feeling good. I was so tired of dry, peeling lips. Burt's Bees helps prevent this problem and keeps my lips in good condition. It has a nice, tingly, menthol-like scent and feel but isn't medicinal, which is a big plus. Burts Bees cuticle cream

Advantages: can go on elbows knees and lips

...To be honest the only reason I am rating this satisfactory is because i have started to use this on my elbows and lips which i have found out does a better job than on the cuticals. I bought this off ebay and was really excited to get it as I have tried berts lip products and have bought them ever since and sworn by them. You are meant to put this on your cuticles and nails and leave on overnight with a pair of special gloves, I seen no difference the following day so i tried for 3 nights and still no difference. I then tried it on my dry knees, elbows and lips and found it a life saver, its fantastic on them so i would buy this for that purpose only, you only need a small amount, does a better job than the lip balm but i still love the lip balm. The smell is lovely if you like the lemon smell and its also used by berts bees...

Burts Bees Honey Lip Balm - long lasting!

Advantages: Long lasting, subtle fragrance, moisturises lips.
Disadvantages: Can be hard to find in shops depending where you live, a little too pricey.

...I am a great user of lipbalms and am always trying new ones to see which is best for me. I saw this one recommended in one of those celeb magazines and thought I'd try it out. I think its amazing! My lips get very dry but this solved that, my lips felt moisturised yet not greasy. The honey fragrance is a lot subtler than Burt's Bees Minty one but it has the same qualitys - it lasts ages, it doesn't leave white marks, it doesn't drown your lips in slime, it doesn't melt easily in your handbag, I haven't had one snap on me yet! I didn't have to apply this very often throughout the day at all. I put it on at night before I went to bed and my lips were not dry in the morning (as happens to me with cheaper, own brand lipbalms). ...Burt's Bees Healthy healing Carrot Nutritive Body Lotion. I was a bit dubious about this product. Carrot body lotion? Sounds rather odd to say the least. As usual, Burt's Bees products are as close to 100% natural as humanly possible and this item is 99.68% on the wholesome scale. It goes look a little like pale mustard and can stain clothing if you are not careful with the rubbing in. The thick lotion is meant for all-over body usage. It does melt down a bit in warm hands which makes for easier application. It absorbs very well into the skin and gives a really nice, silky finish that is not sticky or greasy. The smell has a little medicinal undertone when you first open the bottle and you can certainly smell the carrot seed oil! But this soon gives way to a pleasant, almost faint caramel-like smell that fades gently away...
