...Burtons is just the sort of place I always seem to end up in when I go shopping. Its not that I really buy that much stuff there (I'm a bit scruffy most of the time), but just being there is something you have to do.
The shop has a very classy image when compared to others in the high street. They sell some real quality clothes at some very reasonable prices. If I was to be buying anything at all smart, I'd always head straight for Burtons.
I bought a suit there this year, and the staff were very helpful. After just a second of looking through their stock, a woman approached me to see if she could help. I obviously did need a bit of help because I hadn't needed a nice suit before. She took all the necessary measurements and I was actually out of the shop again fairly quickly. I also bought some shirts, ties and a pair...

Burton is part of the Arcadia Retail group, which has many fashion retailers such as TopMan and the rest are women's like TopShop, Dorethy Perkins, Wallis, Evans and Miss Selfridge.
The first store was opened in 1903 by Montague Burton, after borrowing £100 from a relitave to open the cross-tailoring company in Chesterfield.
His aim was "Good clothes for a mans self-respect".
This continues today with modern and stylish clothing with usually a dedicated suit area in the store and a good selection of footwear and accessories.

This is a sports jacket, which is very much an outdoor coat. It is lightweight, waterproof and is easy to make compact to stowaway. The secret of this jacket and what makes it different is its design and it is made out of Milatex. It is ideal for days out, holidays, when travelling or just everyday use. Really anytime you want to bring a coat and want to store it and don't have much space as it packs up small.
This coat has some special features that make it better in my opinion than others. It is waterproof and will keep you dry from the rain. It comes down over your bum, which is great, as it keeps it dry. I find this important as it means you are not sitting on wet clothes all day as some coats don't cover this region very well and you still get wet.
No wet gets inside your coat...

...Since fashion became something to be more conscious about for me, (few years ago) I thought it would be a good idea to make sure I knew what the different Men’s stores around my local area were like.
Burtons is quite an established store, for men only, (although my mum does go in when she's looking for my Christmas presents etc) and does offer quite a good range in the latest fashions. It has a good selection of Jeans, both its own brand, and other brands like Wrangler. The casual wear continues with T-shirts and jumpers, all quite suitable for the young men of today to wear out on the streets.
Burtons also has a good selection of clothes for going out in. The selection of shirts is good, quite a wide range from the near-Hawaiian shirts for the summer, to the long sleeved cotton shirts. The smart trousers aren't of the best...

...A great shop for men. Great value, great quality, good range, friendly staff. That just about sums up my opinion of the Burtons Mensware shops in the UK. Now I've got to try and pad this thing out to make 90 words.
Joking aside I have honestly given my opinion in the first sentence, but what leads me to this conclusion? I have shopped at Burtons both man and boy and have always been very pleased with their products. On the rare ocassion I have had to return anything the staff have bent over backwards to help and replaced or refunded without question. I have always found what I have been looking for and paid a reasonable price.
Sale time is always good too and there are some excellent bargains to be found.
I have also used their hire facility to hire out dinner suits and found this service to also be excellent in both cost...

Advantages: If you like a thinking film, then this is the film for you. Disadvantages: Quite difficult to understand in some parts.
...The Jacket staring Keira Knightley playing Jackie and Adrian Broody playing Jack Starcks, provides a thrilling film with an exciting and mind boggoling story-line. Jack returns from the Gulf War 12 months later having been shot in the head with a gun by an Iraqi orphan, he experinences 2 life changing events; first he meets the young Jackie and her mother on the side of a road as their truck has broken down. Jack fixes the truck and gives Jackie his dog tags. Jack then carries on and gets picked up by a stranger, they get stopped by the police and the stranger shoots the policeman and then puts the blame on Jack.
Jack then goes to trial although we do not see this and instead of being put in prison for the policeman's murder, the court decides that Jack should be put in to a mental hospital where he can undergo tests. Whilst in...

Advantages: Lightweight, waterproof and windproof, easily adjustable, big pockets, stuffs down really small Disadvantages: Some people find they overheat in it after moderate exertion.
...Berghaus have been one of the most popular outdoor brands for as many years as I can remember, yet the company seems to provide kit that seems as functional on the High Street as well as up in the high country. Take their Men's Paclite Trek Jacket, for instance - ostensibly a lightweight, waterproof mountain walking jacket but which both looks and acts the part down the local shops.
The Paclite Trek is available in two colours: Mazzarine Blue and Black - both have large black panels across the top of the back and shoulders, plus along the bottom quarter length. Said panels are made from an abrasion-resistant material - you're more likely to wear the shoulders a bit because of rucksack or daysack straps. Logos are confined to the usual Berghaus label on the left-hand breast and a single "Gore-Tex Paclite Shell" logo on the right hand...

The jacket is quite stylish and looks at home on both the mountainside and in the highstreet. The North Face is a brand which still maintains a degree of exclusivity whilst not being a totally unheard of name. It is not like other outdoor brands such as Berghaus which have become an almost highstreet only brand so isn't going to attract too many snooty looks from the hardcore outdoors people.
