Seeing London The Big Bus Way!
Advantages: Stunning views of the capital from the top deck, brilliant guides, a fab way to see London
Disadvantages: Some may consider it pricey - but it's not really!
...about the time it was taking to plan routes and then travel those routes to each place when she suggested buying a 24 hour ticket for the Big Bus as we could not only sit on the bus and listen to the tour, but get on and off the bus at will at the various attractions we wanted to visit.
For those of you who have never come across The Big Bus Company before, like me, let me give you a brief run down...

Best Bus Company
Advantages: Loads of them!
Disadvantages: Not all the open-tops can be covered in case of London rain...
...First I should make it clear I did not use this company as a tourist. I live just outside London. But I?ve never done any of the tourist stuff, so being on a gap year I hadn?t planned on, and with very little to do, I decided to indulge in a spot of research, riding the buses, speaking to tourists and asking the people on the pavement awkward questions.
A 24-hour ticket for the Big Bus Company...

Advantages: Busses used to be green; frequent services to north Chelmsford suburbs
Disadvantages: Drivers smile only irregularly; journeying at peak school commuting time is dangerous
