...recognise this Plan toys wooden bus from a school toy car box. This is a wooden Plan Toys Wooden Bus. This bus is a single decker, white with a blue base panel and blue words saying Plan city bus. It has grey windows. There are no people heads in the windows This bus measures 9.8 cm by 3 cm and 3.8 cm high/ 1.2 in x 3.9 in x 1.5 in high. This bus runs on 4 black wheels it's easy to push. The children quite enjoy this bus and push it around on the table or carper they use it in conjunction with other vehicles, enjoy rolling it down the garage ramp. ...bright sun with the temperature around 30°C. A WHITE minibus approaches, then another, and another! Invitations are issued to climb aboard. But what did the rep have to say? Dire warnings as we recalled?.about safety, speed, overcrowding et alia. We boarded the fourth bus! What an experience! These are the 'reggae (mini) buses'! Otherwise known as ZR's (license plate letters!) the buses are WHITE some with a maroon stripe down the side. It transpired we were on Route 11. There were loads of them about ? the service was more frequent, more regular, and ran later at night. Any trip on a reggae bus is nothing if not memorable. Our driver was an extremely relaxed fellow, smoking a thin cigarette throughout, sporting beard, dreadlocks, and a colourful knitted wooly rasta hat. The Runaway Bus

Advantages: Frankie Howerd, Margaret Rutherford

...Well, what a shame, is all I can say! Okay I can say more... The original of this film I saw years ago on TV, and it was pretty good, led by Frankie Howerd in one of (if not THE) earliest performances of his career (the film was released originally in 1954). I was keen to see the film based on his being in it, and becaus eit also has Margaret Rutherford, one of my favourite actresses in also. The plot is essentially that frankie Howerd's charcter is a bus driver, and due to foggy condition, he must take a bus of air passengers via road from one airport to the next. the consequences are quite hilarious, although a few of the best scenes were unfortuately cut from the DVD version. Another note regarding the difference between the original and the DVD version is the quality of the film, which to be honest is not grat on the DVD. I...

SPEEDING

Advantages: you "feel" that you are getting to your destination faster
Disadvantages: death, injury, you often dont get there any quicker, people are ignorant about it

...without any caution. The driver hit and elderly man who was waiting at the bus stop, the driver then sped of and my boyfriend looked after the man until the ambulance came. The man DIED three days later in hospital from the injuries received. If the driver had been reversing at an appropriate speed the man would most likely to have lived. Any driver knows how frustrating it can be to have to stick to the speed limits, especially when the cars around you are exceeding the limits. Being a learner driver I am very conscious of keeping to the speed limits but am constantly hassled by other drivers trying to speed me up or over take. The main reason people speed is because they are impatient and want to get to their destination quicker. But does it really gain them anything by going that bit faster? I found it in Argos for £14.99 but it is now available for £14.50. But when My Mother in Law went to buy it was only £11 in their sale at the time, so watch out for offers like that. I have also seen them for sale in Tesco and Toys R Us. So what is this bus? It is fairly large at 33cm long and 13cm high. It is shaped like a red, single Decker bus. On one side is just pictures of people sitting at the windows on the bus with the diver at the front. If this doesn't put people off speeding what will?

Jack must first find out what bus the bomb is on then once again risk his life to save numerous people including quick witted Annie (Sandra Bullock) who coincidentally on the bus after losing her licence for speeding! Speed is without doubt one of my favourite action movies of the 90?s much like Die Hard is my favourite action movie from the 80?s. Although Die Hard is far superior to Speed, Speed is still a fantastic film that still manages to glue you to the edge of your seat from start to finish. The opening sequence is great, it really manages to set the pace for the film and get you gripped right from the beginning. It doesn?t go on for too long which is what kills a lot of action movies, some of them can get too caught up in the action and all the special effects that it becomes overkill and they focus less...
