"Cars" By Disney Pixar, A Great choice for Children

Advantages: Price of the Dvd are Average. Film is Excellent. Special Effects are great for a animated Film.
Disadvantages: Large amount of previews for other films.

...Cars the movie is a very entertaining as well as family friendly. My family and I watch it all the time. Its characters are well developed and realistic. Even Mom and Dad are Entertained with the humour. The lead character Lighting is trieing to get to the championchip and the life lesson he learns is imeasurable and children need this leasson today. The character "Mater" his voice over is done by the legendary comic Larry the Cable Guy and is hesterical. The gas station owner Flo is a great backgroung character. The lessons of Hard work doing the job right the first time and that life is not always about being in the lime light are very prevalent. If you want a film to entertain,inspire and teach good life lessons then this is the film for you and your family. You will enjoy this film....

An amazing car seat

You can buy it from all the shops you'd expect to be able to buy them from including Halfords, mothercare, john lewis', toys r us etc. What do they cost: prices vary depending up on offers and stores but usually this car seat retails at £100. How do they attach? This car seat is different to many of the others on the market. It clips onto a base which is attached to your car, This makes it easy to get the car seat in and out of the car without waking up the baby. The car seat base is attached by the seat belt securing it in place and a metal leg which keeps it stable. Are they comfortable? This car seat is very padded and so a nice cosy seat for your baby. ...- sometimes if your baby has lots of layers on you need more slack so this is a really good feature to get the straps taught. The carrying handle is easy to move backwards out of teh way and it has a sun sheild which pulls out and connects onto it so as to protect your baby from the glare of the sun something which I found extremely useful! It was easy to get in the car as it clips directly into a base and is easy to remove by just pulling a handle and lifting up out of the base- simple! I can only think of one negative- this car seat is very heavy! It was difficult to carry when I had not long got out of hospital as I was weak and so it was a bit of a problem but I guess it has to be a certain weight so as to make it safe. I bought it from mothercare for £110 and the base is £75. This is more expensive than other car seats but we have...

Were You 'Saved By The Bell'?!

Advantages: One of the best TV shows from my childhood and one I still enjoy watching now
Disadvantages: The characters are a bit predictable, as are the storylines and it's not on TV a lot anymore : (

Brilliant infant car seat

Advantages: Excellent for safety, comfort and totally practical
Disadvantages: no negatives for this product

...I used this for my daughter and used it from birth right through to the upper weight limit which is actually higher than most other car seats in this category. She always seemed so content in it and happily napped when travelling. The sun canopy is excellent, great for protecting the baby when driving and carrying about. Sun canopy also stores away easily when not in use, remaining attatched but out for the way. I also bought the easybase which made loading and unloading baby from car very quick and easy - especially when its raining which it so often does here. Also purchased mosquito net & Raincover both excellent purchases and in the UK I certainly needed them. I liked the fact that there were internal pads that could be removed as she grew to enable more comfort and space for her within the seat. Covers are easily removed for washing...

...like the most about the car ( a Dodge Stratus) was the automatic locking system. A few minutes after getting into the car, all the doors would automatically snap locked if we hadn?t locked them ourselves, a great safety feature I thought, especially with the back doors in mind. Returning the car was a breeze; we pulled up to the depot and followed the signs for the returning vehicles. We were directed to the place to stop by a worker who immediately looked over the car, we were given the all clear and the car was driven to where there was another group cleaning and grooming all the latest returned cars. Easy! We signed off the credit card payment in the office and then took the free shuttle bus to LAX for our flight home. The bill for the 3 weeks came to $1800 (NZ) which was pretty reasonable considering the appalling exchange...

There is a fantastic little cubby hole at the back where you can store a few nappies and cotton wool for when you are out and about, which means you don't have to carry an extra bag. Only thing is that the space doesn't fit a bottle of milk which would have been handy. We purchased the car seat in conjunction with the Bugaboo pram, which was a good deal. However you can purchase adapters which fit onto the car seat, meaning you can fix it onto the pram. Which we found really helpful as it means for short trips you only need the car seat and wheels rather than the both them any the pram. So if you have a small car this is perfect. Glad I gave it a try now. The polish is suitable for all paint finishes, including metallic, you can also use it on your caravan, bike, upvc windows or anywhere else you need a good shine. The polish comes in a plastic container, coloured blue, in the following sizes, half litre, one litre, three litres, and the massive trade size of ten litres. Recommended retail prices range from £11 for the smallest, sixteen Pounds and thirty-one for the 1 & 3 litres, then up to a whopping £71 for the large. These prices are expensive, but the polish is very good, and does tend to go a long way...

Cars - KACHOW!!

Advantages: Great film and fantastic characters - What a film
Disadvantages: None - Just make sure you watch it!

...Sitting down infront of the TV with my brother revising for my A Levels, my brother then decided to go and get the Pixar boxset from our DVD collection. After moaning that I did not want to watch Cars for several minutes because I thought it would be a terrible film, my brother put the film on anyway. It was his choice. He is 5 years older. How lucky was I that he decided this for us. What a film. Cars is again a great hit by Pixar and one I would recommend to all families, for kids and adults. Advantages: The soundtrack
Disadvantages: The characters aren't very strong

...When I first watched this film, I thought it was a loud of rubbish. At the time I was convinced it was probably the worst Disney film that I had seen and wasn't bothered about watching it again any time soon. Noah had other plans and I am currently watching it for the hundredth time! I am not sure if it's a case of becoming familiar with something and quite liking it but this film has really grown on me. The film is based around a famous race car, Lightening Maclean, who gets lost and finds himself in a small town on Route 66 called Radiator Springs. He ends up having to stay in the town after getting arrested and being ordered to fix the road that he broke as a result of wreckless driving.
