Apple iPhone: The Future of mobile phones?
Advantages: great look, easy to use interface, many useful aplications... and so much more
Disadvantages: Bluetooth technology is limited, internet access is slow
...way to access the internet. However, the phone which is currnetly only on O2 at the moment shows that apple really have what it takes to dominate the mobile phone market.
I urge you all to gt an iphone, they are so easy to use, they look great, and a team of well educated staff are always there in apple shops to help you if you have any problems.
another minor detail about this phone which puts me off, is that you cannot transfer data between phones via bluetooth, obviously this is to prevent pirate songs being sent across apples interface, but it would be nice to be able to send photos to a friend via bluetooth instead of using the internet.
the camera is two mgapixel which is fine for a phone and can comfortably take good quality photos with it.
Also, the voicemail function is a brilliant idea that apple have enhanced their moble...

iPhone: Apple's debut into the the mobile world
Advantages: Sleek, Touch-pad, WiFi, EDGE, Email, Youtube, Safari, iPod
Disadvantages: Lacks practical features
...Apple makes an entry into the world of mobile phones with the release of the iPhone, a cutting-edge piece of technology aimed at revolutionising the cellphone industry. I recently bagged an iPhone and a fair share of delights and disappointments along with it.
The Good:
-Amazing, state-of-the-art touch pad system that facilitates much accuracy, innovative commands (eg, zoom by pinching and stretching) and multi-touch recognition by simply using one's fingers
-2MP Camera: although only 2megapixels, the camera is of very high quality
-WiFi, Edge, Bluetooth, SSH support
-Built-in, high quality Internet Browser (Safari), Youtube Application and Email Application
-Google Map Application, capable of "emulating" a GPS-like system
-iPOD integrated into phone, iTunes support, Standard Audio Format support
-POTENTIAL: The integrated OS...

Bob's mobile
Advantages: learns numbers
Disadvantages: noisy
...Hello!
My son has been great fan of bob the builder for quiet sometime. But as time goes - he is 6 now- he grow up from some of his baby toys. And just few days ago I have cleared his bedroom from his old and baby toys. And there was quiet some of them and in good condition so I thought that I will take them to the charity shop.
But as I was packing them his younger sister was sort of helping me. As I was putting the toys in the bag she was taking them out. And she has find bob mobile phone and started to play with it. So I can say that I have clear my boy bedroom to his sister bedroom. And I just clean it up with only few toys going to the charity shop.
Since them my little girl is waking the phone and saying: ?bob on the phone?.
I do like vetch toys but my kids love them.

The phone is shape of bob...

I feel conned by BuyMobilePhones
Advantages: Good choice of phones
Disadvantages: They avoid paying all cashback claims, difficult to contact, uncommunative
...I chose to buy a contract phone from BuyMobilePhones as they offered a good selection on their website and had the phone I wanted. I purchased a Nokia with a 12 month cashback contract.
I applied for my first cashback claim after the first five bills (and line rental charges of £30 a month), only to be told that I sent my claim in too early!
No problem I say, I'll send it in again next month.
No apparently because I sent my claim in early (I didn't) I have not only voided this cashback claim but every cashback claim until the end of the contract.
The cashback team hide behind email and do not provide a phone number. Any request to be forwarded to the cashback team on the phone will be met with a "send an email" response.
So I'm having to find the money to pay a £30 a month contract which was advertised as free...

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM MOBILE PHONES DIRECT
Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Dodgy dealer
...This is a warning message from a buyer who bought his phone from this didgy website - mobilephonesdirect.com. I bought a N97 brand new phone with T mobile contract. I was very happy for about a week, then on the second week the phone started to behave odd. It deleted all my files and was coming up with message saying 'memory is in use'.
I called up mobile phones direct but the person was quite rude the way he handled the call and told me to write email to their webshop and also said there is no live customer service support. The email service would take 5 days to send a reply back. (quote from their website - "Here at Mobile Phones Direct, we're committed to providing you with the best customer service in the mobile phone industry" [http://www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk/customerServices/index.aspx])
So I did email their web shop...

New phone, cash & free Wii...
Advantages: good service, prompt, excellent deals
Disadvantages: the ID giving process is a chore!!
...About this time last year, one of my work friends got her phone upgraded, and then a couple of weeks later, she received a free ipod. I was absolutely amazed - and could have kicked myself as I had only had an upgrade on my mobile a month or so before. She had been told about this great site called "Buymobilephones.net" by a friend and had given it a go.
I forgot all about it until I had the usual pesky phone call from my service provider about my phone upgrade. I then had a brain wave and basically told the gentleman where to go when I remembered my friends phone (she had since left) hung the phone up and then when directly to the site in question to see what deals there were to be had.
Buymobilephones.net - look & use of the website
To be perfectly honest, going on to the website I...

iPhone 3G. What a phone!!!!!!
Advantages: Stylish, fast, too many applications and uses to name!!
Disadvantages: poor battery life on some applications, camera isnt great, no video.
...I have had my iphone for almost a year now and it is easily the best overall mobile phone I have ever had. Don't get me wrong, it is not without its problems, but once you have one of these beauties for a while you will fall in love with it.
Apart from the obvious sleek good looks, the iphone has changed the way I do a lot of things in my day to day life. This is helped by Apples brilliant "App store", where you can download a seemingly endless array of applications, some free, and others you have to pay for (although they normally cost less than £1). These range from games to social networking (Facebook etc) to sports to health & Fitness to news etc etc etc. The list seems to go on and on.
I have found that since getting my iphone my home pc has barely been used at all. I can use the phone to take photos, although I have to admit...

The best iPod / Phone!
Advantages: unbelivably sexy and beautiful, wonderful internet and video / music
Disadvantages: needs a couple of firmware updates to become the perfect phone
...common that Apple were to launch a phone of some description, and these rumours were put to bed on the 29th June 2007 when Apple announced the iPhone. It was initially launched with a 4GB and 8GB memory, but was also launched into some confusion. The trademark iPhone actually belonged to Cisco. Whilst the details of the settlement were never announced, Cisco allowed Apple to use the term iPhone, which in these days of litagation, could have spelt trouble for the iPhone's launch. It was in London of September 2007 that Apple announced that the iPhone was to be launched in the UK on the 9th of November 2007, along with Germany and France. It would be launched in the UK with O2, Germany with T-Mobile and France with Orange. Various commentators have speculated that O2 could be giving 40% of their revenue from each iPhone customer to Apple, which...

An excellent PDA/Mobile Phone
Advantages: Everything about the phones features
Disadvantages: Costly if you dont have a contract. Only avaliable from o2
....
The box was well designed with two draws that simultaneously opened when you pulled out one and inside was lots of other compartments for the battery, the phone, a rather thick instruction manual, a hands free kit and a leather case for the phone.
I plugged the charger in and turned it on. After about 5 minutes the phone was on! It takes that long to boot up as it's actually a mini computer running Windows mobile 5.0, the latest software.
The screen is massive and the clarity is excellent, better than my PC monitor! One the menu had loaded up, I didn't know what to look at first. The phone has all the features you can imagine and more.
First off, Navigation. This is done in a variety of ways. Either using the buttons in-between the red and green phone buttons at the end of the phone or by touch screen with your finger or the stylus...

The phone that changed all phones - iPhone
Advantages: Incredibly accurate touchscreen, simply design, VERY cheap now, good battery life.
Disadvantages: Lacks some common-day phone features.
...The first iPhone achieved a humongous reception by mobile phone users. It is the phone that has revolutionised the features of a standard mobile phone forever. The intuitive touch-screen was the only feature that seemed to stand out upon it's release. But July 2008 arrived, and the App Store was unleashed, leading with it an army of developers anxious to get their applications published for money or free. This continues to be the iPhone's biggest success, with over 65,000 apps at your finger tips (as of July 2009) amongst every category you could possibly want.
iPhone is a beautiful product. It's larger than your standard phone, yes - but for a reason. The buttons you normally rely on for daily functions (texting, calling, surfing the net) are all integrated into the touch-screen keyboard. The gorgeous 480x320 pixel display gives you...
