Advantages: Sharp handling, adequate performance from the engine, innovative and sporty design Disadvantages: Build quality
...After recently purchasing a C2 GT, I have decided to write my first review.
To start off with, what exactly is the GT edition of the C2? The GT edition is the rally homologation developed and released only in 2004 by Citroen to enter the junior world rally championship and super 1600 rally class. It had an edition number of 2250 vehicles, 250 of these being made into rally cars and the other 2000 specifically being put onto British roads.
The road version shares the 1.6i 16v engine out of its sister car the C2 VTR. From my personal experience this engine is frugal and provides enough power for my driving style. The engine develops 110bhp which although is not much by todays hot hatch standards, is quick enough to keep up with traffic moving at motor-way speeds and is easily powerful enough for a daily commuter. Another important...

Review of Citroen C2 GT
Advantages: Great perfomance, variable heat, styles as well as straightens, funky looks Disadvantages: Price might put some off, lack of high-street availability, cleaning the plates
...print Corioliss C2 Titanium straighteners from Sally's Beauty Supply. She said the straighteners were brilliant, variable temp, curls and waves too, antibacterial action, smooth design and function. I had never heard of Corioliss before (it seems they retail more for pros) but these sounded like a good buy, and I had a personal recommendation from someone who had great hair.
They retail for approx £120, but if you have a trade card with Sally's (she did) you can get a hefty amount off plus an extended warranty.
Shiny, shiny
I got my new Corioliss C2's home (red leopard print) and immediately plugged them in. In the box there are the actual straighteners, a little book with howtos, info and 'green Corioliss' initiatives. The red leopard print is a funky and bright, but there are other finishes available.
The actual...
Advantages: Smooth, shiny and sexy Disadvantages: Quite a few annoying little features
...on the basis of ascetic value. It?s small, smooth, shiny and sexy and it cost £100. What more could a girl want? On reflection I probably should have invested a little more time in my choice as I am likely to end up keeping this phone for at least a couple of years but there you go!
So MY C5-2 is a described as a ?clam shell? phone, i.e. flip top, it?s shiny blue with a silver stripe through the middle that you can see in the picture on the product page. The front display shows the battery status, the time, date, signal and indicates whether it?s on silent, if the alarm is set etc. Pretty standard really.
One annoying feature in this respect is that when you charge the phone, the stripe bit that I have described flashes. Huge green lighthouse flashes. Which, if you charge your phone on the bedside table at night, like I do, is annoying...

Review of SAGEM MY C5-2
Advantages: good clear photos easy to use reasonable battery life Disadvantages: No video out steady hand needed
...continual use I'm still happy with it. I must admit an optical Zoom would be nice (Dixons group had a couple of 4MP cameras in for £130 with optical zoom but I couldn't afford one and they've all gone now), but I'm pleased with this. Price wise, it's now down to 60 notes at Dixons, which for it's outstanding picture quality is a bargain. It's been superseded by the JD C 3.1 megaslim, (3mp) which is only £70 at Dixons with tv out as well. I believe that model has autofocus but am not sure. I know it has a cmos sensor and I guess it interpolates to 4mp, but cant say if it does. However, I waas unimpressed by shots taken by other 3mp Cmos sensors so I'm reserving judgement on the 3.1. As for the 2.1, grab one while you still can.

Advantages: Funky pattern, quick to heat up, adjustable temperature, slim, lighweight Disadvantages: Have to prise them away from mum when I want to use them in the morning
...you can also get tight curls, or loose curls and flicks easily from these straighteners. They also have 'Silver nano technology' which is meant to kill most of the bacteria on your hair too. The plug also has a 2 pin plug that is plugged into a 3-pin plug to use at home, but then you can just take that bit off, so you can use the 2 pin plus when abroad so don't need to spend on another adapter!
These straighteners allow me to quickly straighten or style my hair, and takes less than 10 minutes to straighten my hair. As I have long hair I have previoulsy had to spend 30 minutes straightening my hair with different straighteners. As they are very small and lightweight I find it easy to put curls into my hair, which I can then change immediately if I don't like the way it falls. After they have been turned on they are heated up ready for use...
Advantages: These are my own views Disadvantages: you might not like them?
...Ok, so i have now been a member of Ciao! for 2 months. I am writing this review which is my 13th, and I?m hoping it won't be unlucky for me!
I would like to tell you my own personal views on what really bugs me about this site. Although I must firstly say that there are many lovely people out there who don't do what I am about to say. But those that read this will know who they are!
Also, I don't want anyone to be offended by what I say. These are my own personal view points, what I feel, and as you all know each and everyone of us is entitled to that, and I for one, don't think we should persecute each another for that right. Cos it would be a very boring place to be if we could only think, speak and write what was deemed by the high and mighty (whoever they may be!) to be "correct".
So that?s the boring bit out the way. Now I...
Advantages: Excellent cruiser; Super fuel economy; Powerful engine; Equipment levels Disadvantages: Difficult to keep clean!!
...reason I bought the car was to tow my caravan, and what a tow car!!! Ample power when pulling away and it cruises at 60 mph in 5th gear. The only time I need to change down is when driving up steep motorway inclines. The most impressive part, however, is the self leveling suspension. Where my old 406 would sag with a caravan on the back, the C5 stays level, thus improving stability
Fuel consumption is excellent for a car of this size. On a long journey at steady motorway speeds, the car will easily return 48 mpg. Even town driving is good, recording a figure just above 40 mpg - not bad for a 2.2 diesel!!!
As and when this car needs to be replaced (not for a while I hope!!), I will definately be on the look out for another C5, something I've never considered before with any other make of car I've owned (and I've owned many cars!). I would...

Review of Citroen C5 2.2 HDi
Advantages: Good Mileage-Good Drive Disadvantages: Need little legs to sit in the back
...I was looking for a car for my son that wouldn't look like his old mum has chosen it for him and the Citroen C2 1.1 ticked most of the boxes on my very extensive list, and as a bonus the showroom had a shiny 'nail varnish' blue car sitting in their shop window .
The exterior of this car is visually very attractive with a neat body and chrome headlights that twinkle even when they are switched off. (Have you realised yet that I am no car boffin?)
One of the most important things on my tick list, I must admit with some shame, above safety and fuel consumption (which are both ok by the way) was the fact that my son is 6ft 5in tall which is a problem when wanting to buy a compact city car, I would look at the interior of some of this car's peers and wonder where on earth my son was going to put his very long legs. Upon opening...

Review of Citroen C2 1.1
...OK first of all I will be honest in saying I work for c2c and I wish I would of wrote this review sooner as my opinion has not been altered and I'm not in any way biased and will be upfront about things. I do hope no one thinks I'm saying it for the sake I work for it but this is just an honest opinion of it, and yes, there are still plenty of disadvantages.
The first thing about c2c is they are reliable. We've been told that the company has topped the reliablity league for some time now and over 90% of trains are on time. I obviously use them to travel to work and I honestly can say I have only been delayed once by c2c which I think is reasonable. The trouble with c2c is when something delays then, it's usually problems with the overhead lines which can cause huge delays. From an outsider point of view and insider, I can see it is...

Review of C2c Rail
Advantages: comfort, style, economy, space Disadvantages: not a nippy speedy car
...against stone damage as the lights would be expensive to replace,
Our C5 has a diesel 110bhp 1997cc engine. It is not a fast car but it is very economical. It's natural cruising speed seems to be 70-80 mph whereas it was hard to restrain the 307 from 90 mph but for our needs that is absolutely fine. It doesn't seem to lose speed on hills even with a load on it. It is also very economical on fuel - I would think it does about 50 to the gallon. If you want a speedier version of the C5 you would need to look out for the 2.2 HDi version but then I'm not sure if you would get the same fuel economy.
I find it really easy to drive. The handbrake seems in a strange place - at least different to what I have been used to - it is a bit off centre towards the drivers seat but you quickly get used to it. It is a big car and seems too big...
