...I bought the Remington MB 320C rechargeable beard trimmer three months ago and thought that I'd share my experience with the world. I have a beard, partly for idle non shaving reasons but also because I was getting increasingly fed up with staring at my father in the mirror every morning. I did a little research before buying the Remington both on Ciao and Amazon. I paid £19.99 for this trimmer from an eBay trader but with my eBay voucher for £10 this became very cheap. It has a charging/recharge indicator and is supplied with its charger This model is the first that I have used and I am really impressed with it. It takes no more than 5 minutes about once a week to keep my beard in trim. It is possible to set the zoom wheel which adjusts the length of cut anywhere between 1 and 9, 1 is very short and I find that 6 suits me best...

Find your way to buying a Garmin C-320

Advantages: Easy to use, compact, efficient
Disadvantages: Slightly fiddly setup, need a computer to set up

320d - Potentially expensive failure

Advantages: Preformance, Economy, choice of trim, extras
Disadvantages: reliability - Expensive turbo failure, Rear Seat Space, Boot Space

...This is my first BMW, and I am sorry to say my last. The 320d has a reputation for turbo failure, which I believe applies only to pre July 2003 models. This failure can happen at any time regardless of service history and so cannot be predicted or circumvented and is a widely publicised failure amongst 320d owners on the internet!. The cost of repairing this vary between £2000 - £3000 and is not something which I would expect from a name like BMW. Other drawbacks include driver comfort, which is virtually non existant, after 15 mins in the drivers seat you rapidly experience another feature of the 320D - namely BMW "Numb Bum", which I must admit was not publicised in the brochure. The driving position is also somewhat strange. Both rear seat and boot space are limited and certainly not inline with the size of vehicle, and all BMW...

I was impressed with the dealer (Dick Lovett), as the sales guy was not at all pushy but allowed me to take my time looking over the car and responded well to questions I raised. The NAD C320 is certainly nothing special to look at, looking quite chunky but very rebust with it. In fact the build quality is something which has been focused on. The fact that the NAD does not have a huge wattage per chanel does not mean that the NAD is left wanting for power. Bosch Rotak 320.... the baby Rotak!

Advantages: Affordable, easy to use + maintain
Disadvantages: Cannot handle long grass or brush.

...The baby of the Rotak series, the 320 offers reliabilty, is lightweight, and most of all VERY affordable from a company that we all know. The 320 comes with many features, such as a 32cm cutting width, folding handles (for ease of storage), 3-level cutting height adjustment (from 2-6cm), a reasonable 28ltr rear grass collection box (plastic) and motor overload cut-out (in case you run it too hard through rough grass etc). Having used and tested this machine I will more than happily suggest it to anyone looking for an affordable solution to their grass trimming needs. The 1000w motor isn't the most powerfull as motors come but it can take care of a small-medium size garden, say half a tennis court or smaller, if your garden is bigger than this then i would recommend taking at look at her bigger brothers.
