Philips C12 - Consider this---

Advantages: easy to use, cheap to buy
Disadvantages: not up with technology anymore, bland

...I have had this phone for about eighteen months now, and so I think I qualify to write an opinion on how good or bad it is. I have actually bought a new phone since the original purchase of my Philips, but I stayed with the same phone, mainly because it is so cheap! The battery is standard, basically nothing special as you may expect! Well, the talktime on it quite poor, not really that long. You can be on the phone for fifteen minutes after fully recharging it, and one of the four bars will have disappeared from the top left hand corner of he screen. I recharge mine about twice a week, partly because I receive so many text messages (no, I’m not popular, BT send me one every time I receive an email!) which wears the battery down considerably. Advantages: simple to use
Disadvantages: rather basic

...the c12 is small and functional but basic. There are about 12 ring tones to choose from all are crap and you can't download others from the internet either. The rubber keys are quite unresponsive and scrolling through the options is quite labourous and slow. The tarrif its on is annoying because you have to top up every 90 days and the phone can only be used on this tarrif so it is a bit unflexible. It is really a budjet phone for pay as you go people although it feels durable and is small enough to hide in a shirt pocket....

Why i like the philips c12

...My first mobile phone was the Philips c12. I guess i bought it mainly coz it was one of the cheaper ones, it cost me £39.99. It has little icons to make text messaging more fun and stores loads of phone numbers. It also has a bio-calendar game to let you know how much luck and love you will have on a day you choose to find out about. Its quite a nice looking phone, and small enough to fit in your pocket, but the screen is not very big. All in all its a good little phone and the battery holds charge well, so at a good price, what more could you ask for?...

The Philips C12 is a phone that has been around for quite a while now. However it continues to be a good phone and one of the best for text messaging. The phone has a 90 name and number memory, an alarm clock, a biorhythm game (one of those birthday things) and weighs around 140g. Its best feature is its text messaging. It may not be as good as the Nokia phones, however, text messaging icons can be sent from any C12 to another. These icons range from smile faces and love hearts to a bottle of wine. c12 forever-well it was until now

...I have had my c12 phone for about a year and a half now and I would be totally lost without it. It is on the BT cellnet network and it keeps my communications which are of the upmost importance running very sweet indeed. The phone itself is quite small and can be bought in black, green and yellow. When they first came out red was advertised but I dont know where they can be found as I searched high and low for one but couldnt find one so settled for black as yellow wasnt out at the time. For numbers you use the most you are able to store three of them as hotkeys on your phone which means you only have do hold the key down and it calls through. Philips C12 isn't that bad!

Advantages: It's easy to use
Disadvantages: It could have come in different colours

...Most people I know think that the Philips C12 is not a very good phone as it doesn't have any games or special ring tones and that you can't change the covers on it. I own a Philips C12 and i am very pleased with it. It has ok ring tones and is small and light weight. Ok so it doesn' have 'snakes' on it but i find it a very easy to use phone. you can also send text messages with icons on it too so who says it isn't trendy! Overall i think that it is a great phone that is easy to use and not too tarty....

...Hi today I will be reviewing Energizer AA 2500 mAh Rechargeable Batteries. Price You can buy these from Amazon for cheapest £7.05 I got them for £10 from B&Q and I got a charger as well. Life I recommend fully charging these for first time use. I put them on for a day. From the full charge I managed to get a week use out of them. I use them in my Xbox 360 Controllers which are used by me and my brothers so they were on for most of the week. Charge While using the official charger for this product it takes around 6 hours to charge fully (Overnight). Size I find that these batteries are a little larger than the usual AA batteries because in my Xbox controller when I first got them in they took quite a lot of force to get them out again. ...The Philips C12 is a fantastic phone, its small, light, has a lot of features and the battery lasts for ages, the battery on my phone lasts for about 6 days!. The menus on the phone are well laid out and the screen and keys are backlit. The build quality of the phone seems good and there are about 2 dozen different ring tones, which leads me onto my one complaint...you cannot change the audio alert you get when receiving a message! this can get get very confusing. There a three of us in my office with this phone and a message tone sends us all scrambling...
