...I upgraded my Nokia 3330 to this Motorola c350 as I wanted a nice colour phone that wasn't too expensive and heavy. I purchased it for £59.99 from Index Catalogue sometime near christmas which I thought was a good price. The main thing was that it looked really good for it's £60 price tag. It comes with a great array of features such as colour screen, games (Moto GP, Astromash and Snood 21), GPRS and polyphonic ringtones. I thought it had Bluetooth as well but it doesn't. The colour screen is very vibrant (though it would be to me, as I only had Nokia 3330 before this) and can be easily adjusted to the theme that you want. There are six different themes to choose from and also some background pictures and screensavers too. The menus are very simple and easy to navigate but some things can take quite long to load up...

Review of Motorola C350

The Motorola C350 is a cute little phone.

Advantages: The latest technology. Almost a mini computer.
Disadvantages: Dark screen to save the battery. Really hard to see without the back light.

Well my one year contract had run out, and I think T-Mobile and Motorola thought I might take my business elsewhere. I received a letter from them offering me a new phone, the Motorola C350, for free. I would continue for a further year with my contract with T-Mobile. $19.95 (£11.40) a month for 60 weekday minutes and 500 weekend minutes. Nationwide and roaming included. They gave me a 1-800 (free) number to call. Within a couple of minutes I was told that my phone would be with me within 5-7 days. There would be a pre-paid envelope to return my old phone. I could keep all the accessories. If I did not return this phone I would be charged $100 (£57). My new phone arrived 5 days...

Olympus CAMEDIA C 350Zoom

Advantages: Good picture quality, sleek look.
Disadvantages: Battery lifetime.

...I received this as a Christmas present in 2003. My dad is a keen photographer and recommended Olympus as a good make when I was on the lookout for a digital camera. It was priced at around £180 depending on where you bought it, which was about average for a non-professional digital camera at the time. Nikon D90 - My Next 'Last' Camera

Going from memory, they?ve included Philips, Casio, Canon, Nikon and errr?..Nikon. Of course the last one, my first DSLR, a Nikon D70 was going to be the last; but then we all say that don?t we, lads? What I really meant was ?the last for quite a while?. LOOKS LIKE THE ?QUITE A WHILE? HAS EXPIRED Then my daughter started making noises about a night-school class in photography, where the minimum kit requirement just so happened to be a DSLR, and I got to thinking about letting her have the D70 for a ?song?, whilst good ol? Dad treats himself to the later and much higher-specified D90. Since I bought the D70 four or five years back, things have moved on apace...

Review of Nikon D90

320d - Potentially expensive failure

Advantages: Preformance, Economy, choice of trim, extras
Disadvantages: reliability - Expensive turbo failure, Rear Seat Space, Boot Space

...This is my first BMW, and I am sorry to say my last. The 320d has a reputation for turbo failure, which I believe applies only to pre July 2003 models. This failure can happen at any time regardless of service history and so cannot be predicted or circumvented and is a widely publicised failure amongst 320d owners on the internet!. The cost of repairing this vary between £2000 - £3000 and is not something which I would expect from a name like BMW. Other drawbacks include driver comfort, which is virtually non existant, after 15 mins in the drivers seat you rapidly experience another feature of the 320D - namely BMW "Numb Bum", which I must admit was not publicised in the brochure. The driving position is also somewhat strange. Both rear seat and boot space are limited and certainly not inline with the size of vehicle, and all BMW...

...I received the Motorola C350 as a Christmas present. Therefore, I did not choose this myself. I?ve only had it a few days, but I?ve been fiddling around with it for quite a few hours (does that sound dodgy?) and have a fairly good idea of how good it is. And after a while, I began to realise that the C350 is not very good. There are reasons, and I may decide to return the phone in the near future. Looks This is where the problems begin. It?s a fairly small phone, it?s nice and chunky with a dash of silver saying ?Motorola? on it. It looks quite sharp too, although it is quite heavy. The screen is too small; it?s difficult to see sometimes. The buttons are really poor; the feel sticky and quite painful to touch, really quite fiddly. I don?t have the time to sit around fiddling with the buttons. They need to be fairly large...

Review of NAD C350

My experience of the Nikon D90 as an amateur photographer.

Advantages: Excellent picture quality, lots of useful features, well designed controls, great kit lens
Disadvantages: More expensive than some other DSLRs, quite big and heavy, limited movie mode

... How I made my choice I recently bought the D90 to upgrade from my Olympus 560UZ bridge camera, so this is my first foray into DSLR photography. Most people starting in DSLR photography will opt for the cheaper D40, or the D60, D70 and D80. I am not particularly rich, and in the end chose the D90 because I didn't want to grow out of the smaller DSLR and have to buy a new body quickly. I have found that the prices of Nikon DSLRs haven't decreased significantly over the last 3 years, so I decided (maybe wrongly) that this option would save me money in the long run. I found that it is very important to go into a shop and hold the camera in your hands before making a choice. All the photography shop assistants said that the Canon series was just as good as the Nikons, but I discounted them because I didn't get on with the feel...

Review of Nikon D90

Annoying piece of crap!

Advantages: You can re-order the features list
Disadvantages: No delivery reports, no cAsE-button, small screen, etc.

...My first mobile was a Nokia 3210, bought in August 2000. The battery has started to give way now, so when I found the Motorola C350 on sale, I thought I'd go for it. New mobile, yay! ...That feeling soon wore off. Initial thoughts were that I finally got a phone with polyphone ringtones and colour display. The second feeling, after having played with it to see all the features and how they worked (and consulted the manual because there HAS to be a certain feature on it, but you just can't find it - only to have the manual tell you it doesn't have it), is that I should've stayed brand-loyal and got myself a new Nokia instead. Seriously. No problem adjusting from writing texts where the 1 is a space instead of the 0, and things like that, but all the things I was expecting it to have that it didn't just drove me absolutely bonkers...
