...Bright, efficient and user-friendly. The CA 318 is now out of production and has been replaced. It is still available to buy seconf hand but it isn't really worth it. The phone features changeable covers with a decent battery life and short charging time. The phone is small but heavy. It is ideal for first timers but neewer models of Ericssons are now available and this is an out of date phone. The screen is quite small with a poor display. If you want to by this phone the battery will probably have had it by now.... Read review

...With C&A now closing there are some excellent bargains to be picked up. I was there today and bought a nice warm Fleece for just £8 when they would usually be anything from £20 upwards. C&A is closing because of competition in the high street. C&A was renown for good, quality, reasonably price clothing. They were also renown for boring clothing, which I do have to agree to, they didn’t have much stuff that you could say was different. But on the other hand, where are you supposed to get ‘normal’ clothing from. Theres got to be one store at least that caters for this type of clothing. I think people have now realised that the clothing in C&A was actually pretty good, and now that they are shopping there for the cheap clothes, don’t really want it to go. ...The Bar Ca Va is a relatively small pub on Liverpool's crowded Wood St. It has tons of character and appeals to a wide range of people. Almost everyone in Liverpool has been to the Bar Ca Va at some point. There isn't really a consistent theme to the pub and so it doesn't fit into any pre-defined category. Down stairs they sell a huge, and I do mean huge, selection of wines as well as the usual lager and bitter. You can also get some very reasonably priced cocktails made for you down here as well. The bar is probably best known in Liverpool for its Tequila. At £1 a shot you will be in serious danger of staggering home. Upstairs it is smaller than down stairs so there is no wine or cocktails but plenty more tequila. There are sometimes live bands upstairs as well - you can check at the door. Quite an interesting pub and well worth a visit.... Read review

...You bet it does - if what it's wearing comes from C&A. How much this store has gone downhill. Clock House, the teens trendy shop within has lots of nice things, alas rarely over a size 14, or the label says 16 and it fits like a 12. Sob. C&A used to have lots of good things but now seems to be a shop full of 'old dearie' type clothes made of itchy polyester in maddening floral patterns. Nowhere in the shop, can a decent pure cotton women's shirt be found. Readers of this who are not overweight, just undertall - will understand when I say how useful, comfortable and versatile a baggy cotton shirt can be. All the womens clothes appear 'frumpy', badly designed and made of everything except a decent bit of cotton. I thought they were closing down? I shan't be at the final sale.... Read review

...I have always been a great fan of CA bats. For me they are clearly the best bats, but that is my personal choice because the CA white Gold is Chunkier than your normal Gray Nicholls bat. I find that this bat is perfect for my style of Aggressive play, it is a bullky bladed bat which also encourages the ball to fly of the middle with minimum effort. this is a great benefit for the wristy cricketers who concentrate on snappy shots rather than defensive play. the weight distribution in this bat is second to none, from the handle down to the bottom edge there is an equal weight. this is extremeley important to have in a bat which is not made in a very slimline design. the equality in the weight enables you to time your drive shots with particular ease. i have found with previous CA bats that there was always more weight near the bottom... ...I'm basing this review of the CA Attack Cricket Balls on the junior (4.75oz) version. CA Cricket is a Pakistan-based company, who export their product to the UK. They also manufacture a wide range of other cricketing equipment, from bats to bags, and seem to base their offerings firmly within the 'value' sector. The CA Attack balls were my first experience of the brand, and, being a coach of Under 13 cricketers, I was looking for a number of inexpensive, hard wearing cricket balls good enough to last through 16 weeks of indoor net practise. The price of the balls is incredibly cheap (£2.49 per ball from www.thesportshq.com, who seem to have a tie-up with CA, as they carrry the full range of their equipment) and my initial concern was in terms of what kind of quality you are getting for your cash. ...Computer Active (I'll call it CA) is a monthly PC/computer/technology magazine that can be found in most newsagents and supermarkets. It currently costs £1.59, which I feel is reasonable and seems to be cheaper than many other computer magazines, although it used to cost £1.35 before prices started to shoot up all over the place. The magazine is usually just over 80 pages long and contains varied articles for the reader relating to new development in technology, consumer law, technical advice, product reviews, etc. Although I'm no beginner when it comes to computers, I still find CA to be my preferred computer magazine even though it may be aimed at a broader category of computer users ranging from beginners to the more advanced. ...which play much better House music where drink prices are comparable (except for tequila). Previously Bar Ca Va had its niche in Liverpool, as a meeting point and a nice place to start the night, however, now it is trying to become a jack-of-all trades bar (i.e. cool bar/piss head bar/nightclub) and I feel failing at them all....
