As far as I am concerned what I look for is a good atmosphere, a good menu selection, good value for money, friendly and helpful staff, but mainly it needs to be a restaurant that I want to visit again, and again. This is certainly the case with Verdes Ristorante and Pizzeria which has been a popular family run restaurant in Lancaster for many years. The restaurant is situated in the centre of town in Church Street, it's open seven days a week from 11.30am to 10.30pm for meals or just a tea or coffee. Hotel Monte Verde

Advantages: Very Clean
Disadvantages: Awful Food, Noisy, Far way from Palma Airport

...In October 2006 I went on an all-inclusive holiday for one week to Porto Cristo on the east coast of Majorca (Mallorca). I stayed in a hotel called the Monte Verde. It cost me £169 and I will now share my experiences of this hotel with you. The Monte Verde Hotel was built in 1969 and was fully refurbished during the winter of 2000. The Monte Verde has a total of 140 rooms that are built over 7 floors. When I pulled up to The Monte Verde I was not very impressed with the look of the hotel, it looked like a block of flats and was similar to some of the housing around Porto Cristo, which looked a bit basic and old fashioned. However The Monte Verde is only a 2 star hotel so I was not expecting too much. Review of Monte Verde Apartments, Grand Canary

Going down, down...deeper and down

Advantages: Interesting and informative tour of volcanic lava tunnels and caverns. Unspoilt attraction developed to be in harmony with environment. Stunning optical illusion.
Disadvantages: Hard to get to without transportation. Not suitable for very young, elderly or infirm. No catering outlet or much in the way of onsite facilities.

Therefore, a heavy schedule of visiting all the island attractions was not on our schedule during our most recent sejourn there last autumn. I just wanted to relax and recuperate in the sun. Advantages: beautiful caves, historical.
Disadvantages: not suitable for disabled/push chairs/ people with bad backs!

Buzios, in its turn, is the name for an area encompassing few villages, but it is common for people to refer to Buzios as a whole as opposed to each village. This is traditionally a romantic destination in Brazil. Brigitte Bardot went there some time ago when Buzios was still a village of fishermen. Today, although Buzios retain som of its past, the are is dotted with the villas of the rich Cariocas and Paulistanos. According to my Carioca friend, a house in Buzios was very much high status. Nice place to visit

...I traveled with my girlfriend to Cabo from Sept. 23-30 to celebrate my big 4-0. After doing alot of research, I decided on this baby and overall, I have no regrets. I toured some of the other hotels nearby and I knew I made the right decision. The only negative we encountered was the daily drilling near the pool (they were upgrading the tiles around the pool area). They started drilling each morning at 10am and continued for several hours - it was impossible to sit on our balcony or lay by the pool and relax. Fortunately, the sister hotel is right next door and we enjoyed laying by their quiet pool. I noticed that other nearby hotels were also doing maintenance on their properties so each hotel had their own little quirks. We talked to the manager about the annoying drilling and all he could say was "sorry". And it didn't seem sincere...

Advantages: Good summer climate, nice people, good food, need I go on?
