...I’ve just had a Dream, and a very nice dream it was! Would you like me to tell you about it? It was not in colour, just white. “That’s odd” , I’m hearing you say. “Most dreams are in black and white, if not in colour”. Mind you, I can hardly ever remember my dreams, let alone whether they were in colour or not! Well, I suppose you’ve gathered by now (from the category this is in) that this is no ordinary dream I’m talking about. No exciting drama to report!! Yes that’s right, you’ve guessed it. I’m talking about CADBURY’S DREAM. A creamy white chocolate. I love chocolate, yet I don’t eat it very much. My husband does not have a sweet tooth like me, so I only buy it for a treat sometimes. ...When I began my mission to try every chocolate bar on sale in Britain I began to notice that some bars were harder to track down than others. Previously I had thought that Woolworth’s had a good selection but I soon learnt that independent retailers often had better. However, even then there were some bars that seemed to have vanished. Like the Wispa. Alas I soon found out that the Wispa had been discontinued and that its replacement Dairy Milk Bubbly is like replacing a diamond with a cubic zirconia. Another bar that I couldn’t seem to find was the Fuse. However I was reassured by the fact that the Cadbury’s website still boasted of how successful the launch of the Fuse had been and then I saw a few shops that stocked the Fuse. Disadvantages: Not big enough! lol High fat. Whole NUT is obviously not suitable for people with nut allergies. :o)

...Well, I WAS going to be so good on my diet this morning but spurred on my legoman's fantastic Fruit & Nut op I had to go to the shop, buy a Whole Nut and write and op on it. :o) oOoOo A BRIEF HISTORY oOoOo In 1824 John Cadbury opened a shop in Bull Street, Birmingham selling tea, coffee and cocoa but in 1866 he set himself the task of finding a better way of processing the cocoa to make chocolate. A year later Cadbury's produced their first milk chocolate but it wasn't until 1905 that Cadbury's Dairy Milk became available. Over the next (nearly) 100 years various things have been added to this Dairy Milk to make the vast range that Cadbury's is known for. ...In the second of my “ Snickers “ chocolate eating session I’m going to delve into the icy depths of my fridge freezer and write about Cadbury’s Caramel. Originally this was a marathon chocolate eating session however after a strokey beard meeting they decided I wasn’t allowed to have a marathon eating session and I had to call it a snickers eating session instead. All I have to say on the matter is “ NUTS !! “ However I have to admit that I cannot give you the price on this Cadbury’s Caramel as when I looked at the receipt I discovered that I have in fact stolen it ... and the Toffee Crisp !!
