Cadbury's Wispa
Advantages: Delicious
Disadvantages: Disadvantages?!
...Bring it back they cried! The world's problems will be solved with it's return. World hunger can be a thing of the past...etc. etc. Okay, maybe not so much, but the return of Cadbury's Wipsa was greeted with great appraisal since it's disappearance in 2003 due to the launch of "Dairy Milk Bubbly".
Now, before I get into the nitty-gritty of the Wispa, let me pay special accreditation to the Wispa Gold and Wispa Mint; two subtypes of the bar which are yet to see a relaunch...so not everything is right with the world, yet.
It's familiar blue wrapper with red text is renown across the land and thankfully for its relaunch the format didn't change. The same applied for the chocolate bar itself. Where the Nestle Aero changed shaped, the Wispa remained as a long thick bar, with the famous bubbles. How do they make the bubbles? Well, apparently...

CADBURY FLAKE.
Advantages: A delicious chocolate bar that is not too filling.
Disadvantages: None.
...--- CADBURY FLAKE---
"Like fingerprints or snowflakes, no two Flake chocolate bars are the same".
Flake has got to be one of my very favourite chocolate bars. It is just solid fabulous Cadburys chocolate. Advertised as the 'Crumbliest, flakiest chocolate in the world the flake bar delivers pure Cadburys, creamy chocolate taste; Going since 1920 the flake bar was created by sheer chance when a Cadbury employee over filled a chocolate mould and noticed how the excess had formed a layered chocolate effect.
Known for their Iconic, sexual advertising since the 1950's, the Cadburys advertising TV campaign showed female models enjoying the Cadburys flake just a bit too much, with quite phallic reference when eating the flake. Back in the 60's and before decimalisation the Flake was known as the 6d bar. '6d worth...

Hopalong Cadbury
Advantages: Cheap & cheerful
Disadvantages: Tastes like 10p worth
...You know how it is. You have a notion for something sweet. Something chocolatey. Something caramelly. And being a tight-fisted sweaty sock, something cheap. Step (or should that be hop) forward FREDDO!
In case you don't know, Freddo is a frog. But fear not dear reader, I haven't gone all French and developed a penchant for munching on amphibians' legs, Freddo is made by Cadburys. What does that tell you? It tells you that it's a racing certainty that it's made from chocolate. And indeed it is.
Freddo is a frog shaped chocolate bar with a caramel filling.
Freddo come sealed in a foil wrapp...oh just look at the picture at the top of the page if you really, really need to know what the packaging looks like. Um...on second thoughts don't bother. That's NOT what the wrapper looks like. As with most, if not all Cadburys products...

Not quite a bunch of roses : Cadbury's Roses
Advantages: Nice chocolate, a couple of good fillings
Disadvantages: Lack of variety of fillings, lots of old flavours are now missing
...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was feeling a bit sorry for myself the other day (no specific reason why - just one of those days), and when in that frame of mind, there is only one thing which can ride me through until a better mood is upon me.......chocolate! While in Morrisons, I looked all through the usual offerings of things like Kit-Kats, Bounty Bars, Maltesers etc., but none of them seemed to appeal to me. Then, my eyes rested on a wire trolley-load of boxes of Cadbury's Roses, on special offer, at £1.99. My eyes kind of lit up, my spirits lifted slightly, and I dumped one of the boxes in my trolley. I actually forgot I'd bought them until I got home and unpacked the shopping. Now, I don't trust myself with this amount of chocolates, especially if I'm using them as comfort food, as I can be in danger of eating the whole box all at once - so, I divided...

Classy Cadbury Bournville
Advantages: Mild dark chocolate taste
Disadvantages: Like all chocolate - sugar
...A review on Cadbury Bournville
Now, dark chocolate is not a choice I often make but today I felt like a change. So, despite the rain, I set off to buy a Cadbury Bournville - my favourite variety. The small One Stop Shop near where I work didn't have any so I had to make my way to a small shop a bit further away. I didn't mind too much because that used up a few more calories. However, I suspect that the price was a bit higher than the supermarket would have been. So, what is it about Cadbury Bournville that is appealing for a change.
A Few Facts
* This products contains traces of nut, wheat & milk ingredient.
* Suitable for vegetarians.
* The nutritional value is about the same as a Dairy Milk.
* The cocoa used comes from Ghana.
* John Cadbury opened his first shop in 1824.
* Cadbury Dairy Milk was...

Cadbury Crunchie Bar
Advantages: A superb honeycomb bar
Disadvantages: none
...The Crunchie bar was launched in 1925 by J S fry and Sons, it became a Cadbury product after a corporate merger took place.
Oh this bit is interesting...
Crunchie Bars are manufactered in the UK,the honeycomb sponge toffee is made in large slabs. Because cutting the slab with a blade would cause it to fall apart and using a water jet would lead to the toffee slab melting they developed a highly focussed jet of oil that can success fully cut sharp edged portions.
If I am honest with myself the thought of enjoying eating a Crunchie Bar appeals to me far more than knowing how they are made! ( how selfish )
This review has been prompted because the Other Half took a trio to Lidl`s where at this moment in time Crunchie Bars are on a promotion, 2 x 5 packes for £2.50. That works out at 25p each, what a bargain!

Cadbury or Nutella?
Advantages: Delicious
Disadvantages: calories, not healthy of course, and expensive
...Cadbury's Milk Chocolate Spread
400g
We tend to choose Nutella every time we want to buy a chocolate spread, don't we? It was created in the 1940s, and I guess around 70 years are more than enough for us to become addicted to it. Then we realize that it is more expensive than the rest; at £1.42 for the 400g jar, we can definitely find something cheaper. We try the shop's own brand like Asda and Sainsbury's which are only 74p for the 400g jar, but we find them a little dry. Let's try something different.
Cadbury's Milk Chocolate Spread looks tempting. I bought it with all my groceries from Ocado.com, and I checked Tesco and Sainsbury's and found it also available there for the same price. The 400g jar costs £2.25 which is even more expensive than Nutella, but I wanted to try it nonetheless.
Like all chocolate spreads...

Definatly a LITTLE nibble!! (Cadbury Clusters)
Advantages: Very tasty and high quality chocolate
Disadvantages: Not a lot for the amount of calories
... CADBURY'S CLUSTERS
35g BAG
I have seen these new confections in larger bags so when I spotted the 'snack sized'ones in Home Bargains for 39p I though I'd give them a try.
PACKAGING
The chocolates come in a red brightly designed pouch measuring 5" x 4" - for the amount of chocolates in the pack they could have cut that package down by half.I think the size of the pack is very misleading - there were only 5 'clusters' in the bag - it looked as if there would be far more than that.
The front of the pack shows a couple of the 'clusters' and the back has the nutritional values and ingredients on it.
I must say that I found the package a little hard to open - having to resort to scissors in the end, so not really ideal for a packed lunch box.
NUTRITIONAL VALUE...

CADBURYS CHOCOLATE ECLAIRS.
Advantages: Delicious taste.
Disadvantages: Very chewy indeed.
...--CADBURYS CHOCOLATE ECLAIRS---
There's no getting away from it, 'Cadburys Eclairs' are gorgeous! There is just something about the combination of ingredients that make them absolutely delicious and a definite favourite in my house.-
The Cadburys brand has been around a while producing the creamiest chocolate ever with the melt in the mouth consistency. I love their chocolate. The first Cadbury shop was opened 1824 so it is a well established and well respected brand. Cadburys first introduced the chocolate éclair in the 1960's after acquiring it from rival confectioner James Pascall. The chocolate éclair is one of Cadburys largest sellers and is a number 1 worldwide seller also.-
---THE PRODUCT---
The Cadburys Chocolate Éclair is packaged in a purple and yellow foil, swirled, patterned bag, with the Eclairs written...

Spread a little happiness with Cadbury's
Advantages: Tasty, no preparation
Disadvantages: High sugar and calorie count
...Cadbury?s milk chocolate spread is one of those things that gets sneaked into the shopping trolley when I force my children to go supermarket shopping with me. It is not a product that I am keen on but it is enjoyed by my eight year old daughter and my husband.
The chocolate spread comes in a glass jar containing 400g, the jar is instantly recognisable as a Cadbury?s product as it has the distinctive Cadbury?s colours and lettering, and the lid of the jar matches the purple of the label. When you open the jar you are instantly hit by the intense aroma of chocolate, even more intense than opening a Cadbury?s chocolate bar. The spread is delightfully smooth, absolutely no lumps and my daughter loves to be the person who opens the jar and makes the first indentation into the spread. The spread itself is just like melted chocolate, a bit...
