If you like Clueless, you'll love Mean Girls

Advantages: Funny - better than your average teen comedy
Disadvantages: A bit formulaic

...Mean Girls is one of my favourite trashy girly films! It is the story of Cady Herron (Lohan) a formerly home-schooled girl who is forced to go to a regular high school when he parents get university lecturing jobs in America having lived in Africa for a number of years. Cady has no idea of how to behave in this alien situation but luckily makes a couple of good friends, Janice and Damian, who help her through it. Janice hatches a plan for the meanest girls in school, the Plastics, to get their comeuppance which involves Cady infiltrating their group and bringing them down from the inside. However, Cady slowly becomes a real Plastic and before she realises, she has betrayed her friends and become a mean girl. Can she put things right and end the reign of the Plastics? Plastic Popular but Poisonous

Advantages: Great film I loved it
Disadvantages: If your not careful you might becme a plastic

...Mean Girls was a great film. It was about four girls Cady (the new girl),Regina,Karen and Gretchen. Cady used to live in Africa and was home schooled all her life untill now. She moved from Africa and starts a new life in America at a new high school. Little does she know that the school is split half seperating the plastics (the popular people) and the averages. Cady soon makes friends with Janis and Damian who thinks it would be fun to mess with the plastics (Ragina , Karen and Gretchen). But it all falls to pieces when Cady becomes one of the plastics. Watch it yourself and find out what happens next............... I was a great film enjoyable for kids 12 and over as it contains strong language. The dvd its self is great it has deleted scenes,a 'are you a mean girl?' game, gag reel and two music videos...

Advantages: Funny, Very Similar to the normal HighSchool.
Disadvantages: Shows how Cliques seem to be taking over

...Cady Heron is the new girl at school. She has moved from Africa, and has been home-schooled all her life. Cady is smart, pretty and somewhat of a grown up. Cady finds friends in the form of Janis and Damian - two students who aren't part of a clique and are classed as outcasts. Damian and Janis give Cady a quick guide to the way the school works, who's who and whats what. This is when 'The Plastics' are introduced - Regina George, Gretchen Weener and Karen Smith. Regina is the boss, she is classed as the Queen Bee of the school. Every girl wants to be Regina and every guy whats to have Regina, that is everyone apart from Janis and Damian. Mean Girls

Advantages: Great girly film! Really funny
Disadvantages: You'll want to watch it lots more!

...Great chick flick! I really enjoyed this film. Lindsay Lohan is really good in it. The storyline is of a girl who comes to America after being home schooled and living in Africa, she becomes friends with these 2 students at her school and they divise a plan to bring down the 'plastics', a group of three popular girls who terrorise the rest of the school, and turn them against each other. Basically to give them a taste of their own medicine. And also the fact that Cady has fallen for the head of the 'plastics' ex-boyfriends. Cady (Lohan) plays at being friends with the 'plastics' but ends up becoming one her self, finally seeing the err of her ways, she reverts back to the old, nice Cady, and the plastics learn their lesson and become nice too and everything is (of course) wonderful in the end. There are some great outfits in the film...

Advantages: very amusing chick-flick
Disadvantages: may not amuse all girls.

...This brilliant movie starring Lindsay Lohan and Karen McAdams is very funny and it reaches into the minds of a regular teenage girl. The beginning works well, as Cady is a plain dressing, quite shy girl from Africa, but as the movie goes on, you see her start to change both pyshically&mentally into a gutsy, confident young woman. Meanwhile, over in the mean corner, you see Queen Bee Regina George pulling vunerable Cady by her side to stop her from stealing any of her PERFECT limelight.Regina is a spoilt, quite spiteful young woman who doesnt turn down the chance to show off anything about herself. I watched this movie and expierienced both amusement and sadness as I watched Cady's roller-coaster time with The Plastics, a mean little popular, demanding gang. Advantages: Great characters & storyline. Very funny
Disadvantages: Can be for all ages but mainly aimed at young people

...On the face of it Mean Girls just seems to be another teen comedy about bitchy girls & good looking guys & if you think about it that's all this is but there's a big difference between this & all those other so-so teen comedies? this is amazing. Mean girls really stands out from crowd as one of the best teen movies ever, there have been other good ones such as John Tucker Must Die which I enjoyed but if you ask someone to name a great teen film chances are the answer you'll get will be mean girls.
