...listing further on in the review for those who would like to know. This Volume contains 15 tracks, all compiled with love by Jose padilla, the lengdenary DJ from the Cafe del mar in Ibiza. Once again he has mixed tracks of different genres, some traditional guitar, others are electric, some have a soulfull feeling and, of all things, Dusty Springfield!! No one else would get away with this. That last track, Dusty Springfield, The look of love, is the perfect track to finish this series on. It sums up, for me, the whole idea of this compilation, love who you are, love who other people are, and most of all, enjoy what you have while you have it. ...I was introduced to the cafe del mar series by a friend back in 1995, what a long time ago! I have never been to the famed cafe in Ibiza, but have purchased all the volumes in this series upto Vol 6. I stopped here because the man that puts them togther stopped, there are others and i'm sure they are good, but they won't be as good as this! Jose Padilla is the master mind behind volumes 1-6, he has such a good understanding of music and the way that it can influence moods and feelings and his selections on the cds are outstanding. I will review each of the 6 as I get the time, but here we will deal with the first... There are 12 tracks on the cd, I think you can still by it in the shops but remeber that it is now 10 years old!! Cafe Del Ibiza

Advantages: Clubs, Clubs and more Clubs, breathtaking scenery
Disadvantages: Expensive

...many a time, but it still did not prepare me for how moving it really is! Radio 1 do regular slots along this coast. They used to be regulars at Mambo, but I think they moved to Coastline last year. See the likes of Sara Cox, Pete Tonge, Lottie and Fergie spinning a few tunes. They also tend to have a few live PA?s such as Zero 7 to listen to as the sun sets. My one main moan about San Antonio was the lack of beaches. The best one is in San Antonio Bay, but the one outside Café Del Mar and Mambo is nothing more than a few rocks. IBIZA TOWN Ibiza Town is home to Pacha and El Divino, which are more your glammy kind of club. You can take a boat from Ibiza Town Harbour right to the front door of El Divino or you can catch the ?club buses? which run around the island for most of the night. Cafe del mar vaolume 3.

...Well i'm back reviewing the Cafe del mar series as promised, this time I am dealing with volume 3. This cd was put together during the summer of 1996, in Ibiza at the Cafe del mar, Which for any one that doesn't know, is a world famous cafe-cum-club known for its chill-out themes and generally having a nice time, relaxing and being relaxed. Its a haven for taking time out at, and many a clubber would have visited here during their stay in Ibiza. As you have come to expect, there is a wide mix of music on these cd's, on this volume though, there is nothing wildly different, the tracks seem to flow into one another, Im not sure if this realy works, all the other compilations have something different on them that wakes you up and makes you sit up and listen, but here there is none of that, you realy could fall to sleep listening to it...

Café Del Mar. Wave the sun goodbye...til tomorrow.

Advantages: perfect spot to watch the sunset

...Sitting on the rocks, sipping a drink, the only noise is from the bar behind playing tranquil and serene music, watching the sun slowly disappear below the sea. Its beautiful. A trip to Ibiza isn't complete with out a visit to San Antonios sunset strip in the bay of Calo des Moro. Café del mar was built in the 1980s. Is is now joined by Mambo, Savannah and Kanya at al but Café Del Mar is still the most renowned. Hesperia Del Mar

Advantages: Great location & cheap
Disadvantages: Not that many food places around

...I visited Barcelona this July and stayed at the Hotel Hesperia Del Mar for five nights with 3 other friends and I have to honestly say we all loved it! The hotel price which we got from expedia was one of the most competitive around and we were pleasantly surprised when we got to the hotel, for how cheap the hotel was it was quite nice. It cost for five night my share was 145 so the entire room cost was 290. The hotel reception staff were the highlight of the hotel. They are very friendly, warm and always willing to help! The rooms were standard and offered everything we needed. The bathroom was fully equipped with a shower, toilet, bidet and sink with large mirror. The bedroom consisted of 2 single beds and were comfy. There is air conditioning so we never felt hot and flustered in the room unless we turned it off and forgot to put it...

Advantages: Some astoundingly moving tracks, unbeatable for its chill value

Disadvantages: Few... Clouds?

...The sun, the sea, the rocks... Well, the sand would have been a bit of a lie, and playing the alliterative-value/poetic-license card may have incensed those who went in search of a nice beach after reading the review. Those in search of a gorgeous view - both of people and natural scenery - have come to the right place. Café del Mar and Café Mambo are in a terrace of bars and restaurants just north of San Antonio, but well within walking distance. This geographical location is perfect - it seems a world away from the cheap, taccy, British-seaside-town-in-Spain sprawl that is San Antonio, without the stress of a long journey. Looking for a new CD with a chilled sound?

Advantages: Relaxing,
Disadvantages: May not suit everyone

...It's not another junk commerical english release. The Cafe Del Mar series have provided me with music to work and relax to. Cafe del mar volume 7 is my personal favourite offering artists such as Bent, Bush, Moby & Lux. The sound of the ablum is very laid back and awesome for a hot summer day. The tracking listing is as follows 1. Northern Lights - Lux A fantastic slow start to the album. Featuring no vocals, the track has a slow, mediterrian sound to it. 2. Breather 2000 (Arithunda Mix) - Afterlife Featuring female vocals, this is another laid back album with the sound of the sea in parts. English vocals but spanish sounding in my opinion. 3. Advantages: Authentic Coffee, Clean, tidy premises, 1st class ambience and atmosphere

...Caffe Nero is a leading Coffee store Retail Outlet located in many high street, town center, and Airport Lounge venues across England, wales and Scotland. The company sells, Coffee as its main product. Also they stock Tea, cold refreshments, panini sandwiches, cookies, crisps, Chocolates, cakes, and sweets. What I find that makes cafe nero different to other coffee Retail Outlet's is almost a combination of excellent Coffee, and a high standard of Customer Service. The Music in the background of the store is subtle and light.
