** The Chameleon Café **
Advantages: Excellent atmosphere, Comfortable seating, great low price food, friendly staff.
Disadvantages: Slow service, expensive drinks.
...** Introduction **
I am lucky enough to work in what is claimed to be one of the ?trendy? parts of London. The place they call Clapham. Whether it is actually ?trendy? is another story all together. However, luckily for me I am surrounded by bars, cafés, restaurants and of course the good old McDonalds or two! But this also means we are spoilt for choice. When we plan lunch we have to start planning from the morning. Indecisiveness is our middle name! But after a while we always break the list down to one or two favourite locations. And Perfect Blend is one of them.
** Perfect Blend **
Opening in 2008 Perfect Blend is a chameleon, it changes it atmosphere throughout the day very cleverly, from café to restaurant and then to a social bar. The second to be opened of its kind in London it really does stand out from...

Cafe Nero
Advantages: Authentic Coffee, Clean, tidy premises, 1st class ambience and atmosphere
Disadvantages: Food range is not so great value.
...Caffe Nero is a leading Coffee store Retail Outlet located in many high street, town center, and Airport Lounge venues across England, wales and Scotland.
The company sells, Coffee as its main product. Also they stock Tea, cold refreshments, panini sandwiches, cookies, crisps, Chocolates, cakes, and sweets.
What I find that makes cafe nero different to other coffee Retail Outlet's is almost a combination of excellent Coffee, and a high standard of Customer Service.
The Music in the background of the store is subtle and light. This allows people to read a newspaper, to socialise with friends, family, or to enjoy a relaxing cup of Coffee in relative peace and quiet. The atmosphere is what makes caffe nero a pleasant and welcoming place to visit.
The staff seem to be team organised. I have seen Table's been cleared...

The Tram Cafe
Advantages: Unique, cheap, excellent location
Disadvantages: None
...Whilst on holiday in Prague myself and my girlfriend were wondering back to our apartment after a day of sight seeing and we came across the Tram Café in Wenceslas Square. We decided to pop in for a quick drink and warm ourselves up.
The Tram Café.
The Tram Café is situated in the far end of Wenceslas Square in the City of Prague. Wenceslas Square is one of the major tourist attractions in Prague and is marked on every map so finding this unusual café shouldn't be too hard, although we literally stumbled across it by accident on our walk home.
The Trams which make up the Tram Café were are trams that were once in use within the City of Prague. Tram number 11 used to operate at the Vaclavska Square from the beginning of the 20th century up until 1974. The motor tram car number 2077 was made in 1927 in Prague and was first used...

***** WHAT IS IT? *****
I found this place completely by chance and how pleased I am to have bothered to stop in the car park. I only came down for the car boot sale and low and behold saw this gorgeous little eatery tucked away in the corner.
This little known café has only been opened a year so everything inside is still relatively new and shiny. Situated inside the HILLSIDE NURSERIES car park, it is easy to pass this completely without realising what a little gem Alton has on offer for food...

Cafe of Convenience
Advantages: Cheap and Convenient
Disadvantages: Poor Quality
...Tesco is probably one of the most popular supermarkets in Britain with its great selection of food and low cost purchases. It boasts its friendly atmosphere and helpful staff and after or before a busy shopping trip, it offers a place to sit and have a coffee and a slice of cake, or a full blown meal.
Sounds great doesn't it?
Obviously with many of these supermarkets all over the country, each one will be slightly different, yet hopefully I can give you an overview from the experiences I have had through many different Tesco Cafe's
*****Cafe Overview*****
The supermarket cafe can often be found quite near the entrance to the main store creating an inviting, if not slightly presurising, feel.
There are many signs which boast great food and drink which brings your tastebuds to life (if only this were true...

A Cafe with Character
Advantages: Great setting, friendly staff, nice food
Disadvantages: Not very many tables
...Picture the scene: It's coming up to eleven in the morning, you're halfway up Union Street Ryde and looking for somewhere to have a nice cup of tea and a cake.
Of course, on the Isle of Wight, you're never far from a cafe, and in Ryde that's especially true. There are no lack of teashops along the seafront and in the main shopping area, but if you want something more than your bogstandard cafe, then you should definitely pay a visit to The Orrery.
**History**
The Orrery Cafe was opened with the main aim of making enough money to open a Globe Museum on the same location. The owner of the cafe is a globe maker, and many of his creations can be seen in the cafe itself.
**Location**
The Orrery is located about halfway up Union Street in Ryde, on the Isle of Wight, and attracts your interest almost straight away...

Café Hula - Great Homecooked Food in the Heart of Glasgow
Advantages: Great food, good value, handy for Theatre Royal, relaxed atmosphere, excellent service
Disadvantages: None really. But you might get undercharged!
...We first went to Café Hula because of its proximity to the Theatre Royal - it is literally across the road - and we wanted a quick bite to eat pre-show. We went back because the food and service were so good.
Café Hula décor is rustic; with its rough hewn wooden tables and chairs and plentiful foliage it is perfect for relaxed and casual dining. They have a couple of large farmhouse kitchen-style tables, ideal for dining with a larger group of friends. There is a glass-fronted mezzanine level with additional seating upstairs - this restaurant is larger than first impressions might suggest.
They are close to the University and mindful of this they offer lunchtime deals and an extensive made-to-order sandwich and salad takeaway service. However, they do attract the pre-theatre crowd in their droves too and we have even...

No Box, No Wood... just Café
Advantages: excellent starter and dessert; thoughtful customer service
Disadvantages: chosen main course from the set menu was the weakest point of the meal
...(Please forgive my attempt at an innuendo!)
Well, since I gave my review of The Narrow this morning (and thanks to everybody who gave me ratings and feedback), I thought I might as well recall my first Gordon Ramsay experience at the Boxwood Café.
INTRODUCTION
It was my 27th birthday earlier this year, and particularly because of a stressful work situation and a non-life I decided to treat myself to fine dining. I was particularly keen on Ramsay as I've been a fan of his for over a year. I also voluntarily went by myself to the restaurant.
The Boxwood Café is situated in the Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge, which immediately gives you an idea of the price bracket this restaurant commands (if the fact it's a Gordon Ramsay restaurant hasn't given it away). However, my contacts at lastminute.com hooked me up with another...

The Community's Cafe
Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: None
...The Crocus Café and Bakery is a bit of an eatery with a difference. Originally set up as a fair-trade café within an old church hall, the café moved to its Church Square location in Lenton, just outside the centre of Nottingham, in Autumn 2004.
What makes it quite special is that it is a not for profit organisation. It is a community based café, and while originally it was set up with students, it now appeals to both students and non students alike. What is even more unique about the Crocus is that it is staffed almost entirely by volunteers, who can volunteer for 2 hours or more a week.
It is increasingly difficult to find any kind of eating establishment that relies on local suppliers, as the big chains snap up most of the market and provide the same food at the same cost, whether you are in Lands End or Lybster. I've promised...

The Cafe that rocks!
Advantages: Quick service, wide variety of foods, family friendly, delicious meals.
Disadvantages: Expensive, quite noisy
...Three years ago, we stayed in New York for around 5 months. During our time here, we came across various different restaurants and cafe's and sampled many culinary delights, ranging from crab to the usual cheeseburgers and chips. One restaurant we were planning on dining out in was the Hard Rock Cafe, however the night we had planned to go, on arriving we were sent away due to the fact we would have to weight 1 hour fifteen minutes to get a table. It was around 7pm at this time and with young children in to we decided to give up and we went off to the neareset pizza joint.
Ever since the experience in New York, I have been determined to sample the food at the Hard Rock Cafe. I was totally oblivious to the fact there was one situated in Edinburgh, a fourty five minute drive or a 30 minute train ride from my house.
So a couple...
