Advantages: Immense individual, multiplayer and online gameplay

...This is one of the greatest games ever made, and in my opinion the greatest game for online gamplay that exists. The missions are compelling and excellent, and the graphics are unbelievable. The best part of the game is the Xbox Live gameplay (for Xbox 360) and is really addictive (I know of people who have clocked up over 30 days of Call Of Duty 4 online gameplay) and is especially fun if you play with your friends as you can compare stats like most kills and most points etc. The game is so popular that the price is still reasonably high (between £30 and £40) which is a credit to Activision as they really have exceeded expectations with this revolutionary game. The sound effects are incredible, and the noise of the gunshot is so convincing and realistic it can feel like your actually near gunfire. I would recommend however...

...Call of Duty 4 or COD4 is a game i would recommend to anyone wanting a solid FPS (first person shooter). The game is built well from the ground up and everything screams next gen game from the enemy AI to the Enviromental detail within the levels. The storyline takes you through roles as a British S.A.S and an American marine with both stories intertwining eventually. The gameplay is mainly running and shooting, this may sound boring, but is isnt. As the enemy AI is so good the game forces you to think tactically to survive, if you just run in thinking your badass you will die. The graphics are very detailed and look gorgeous expecially on a HDTV. ...This game, what shall i say. The best game in 2007, without a doubt. Cally of duty 4 boasts stunning graphics, gameplay; in fact, it is stunning in EVERY department. It excels, in detail of players, graphics, online play the main feature. The campaign is very entertaining, but if you like campaigns you may wish to consider buying a different shooter, because this campaign, although while it lasts it is amazing, is slightly too short. You play as a person called SOAP, which is an interesting name, and you are teamed with a squad throughout the campaign. Online play is absolutley magnificent! To go through the levels it takes a few weeks, but this keeps you entertained and you can do the levels up to 10 times (prestige). Occasionally, depending on others connections, you may experience lag and annyoing messages...

Call Of Duty 4 - Worth the Money!

Advantages: multiplayer, graphics.
Disadvantages: If you don't have Xbox Live then you can't play multiplayer.

...Call of Duty 4 has to be the most played game on the Xbox 360 Gaming World at the moment. It has been highly popular for almost one year now and is still up there with the new releases on the gaming charts. The story mode is amazing as you don't always play the same character or fight for the same country. You play as the SAS, US Marines and the Russians throughout the story mode. The weapons are the latest weapons in modern warfare and are so realistic when firing them or even when you throw a grenade. The multiplayer is also amazing as there are many different maps to play and different game modes such as team deathmatch, search and destroy, team tactical, cage match etc. It is truly amazing and I woud highly recomment this game to any gamer around the world....
