...When i first bought call of duty 3 i was stunned, I had Heard about the series but i didn't know how great my experience would be when i were to play it, Call of duty is a revolutionary first person shooter, Bringing you from your seats right into the battle field, It shows you the pain and suffering of the men whom the game is based upon, and even being a bit of a tear jerker when you see one of your fallen comrades die. ...To coin a phrase "I couldn't put it down." It was frankly stunning. I almost felt the bullets leave my gun... thats how involved it was. The game was stunningly visual and the A.I. works very well. The new input of cut scenes which require the gamer to fight the enemy while enjoying the game's visuals. As you play the game you feel more and more involved as the game drags you into its story line. The normal call of duty game play is evident it almost surpasses that you encounter on PC. Down the sight works perfectly on the ps3 unlike it did on ps2. The new trigger buttons that are used on the ps3 controllers are very useful. Buy this game you will not be dissapointed.... ...I pre-ordered call of duty 4: modern warfare on play.com months ago for the price of £39.99. When i got my e-mail saying it had been posted, i couldn't wait for it to arrive. I was not dissapointed. The graphics and sound effects are exceptional, and i have always been a fan of the call of duty series. I might even goe as far to say that up to now this is my favourite 360 game. Call of Duty is usually centred around World War 2. The most recent installment of the series is set around a terrorist plot, and the missions switch between the middle east and the former Soviet Union. When you start the game, you begin as the SAS. ...Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare, Quite possibly the best xbox game ever I have been a big fan of the call of duty series for many years now. My quest started out with the original Call of Duty on my PC followed by Call of Duty 2, once again on my PC then guess what Call of duty 3 was released which meant I was forced to go buy an Xbox to play it on as it was not released for the PC platform. How annoyed was I, well i thought about boycotting the game for a whole 20 seconds anyway. First person shooters are my favourite genere of game and this latest edition from Infinity Ward does not disappoint at all. You play as the SAS and the US Marine corp and the game is based around a terrorist plot in the USSR and the Middle East. After being used to world war weapons for many years it is a nice change to have some modern weapons to play with... Read review

Advantages: If you love the CoD games, heres another one for you to play.
Disadvantages: Just like the other CoD games, many little issues (considering its a modern game)

...After Purchasing this Game, i could not wait to receive it, after playing call of duty 2 & 3 they were excellent. but the day came when it came through my door, i stuck it into my Playstation 3 and wow! was absolutely brilliant. Graphics/Sound : Graphics were absolutely brilliant, from firing a gun to grass effects. things seemed so realistic its unbelievable. this makes the game more enjoyable to play online & with friends. sound was also realistic, with shouting and the way it loops also. Advantages: A whole new game play system exclusive to the Wii | The intensive action throughout the entire game | Total control over all vehicles, such as tanks and jeeps.
