Callaway Big Bertha Red Balls

...Being relatively new to the game of golf, I need as much help as possible in getting my ball to go further! My partner introduced me to Callaway (he is obsessed by the game and only Callaway stuff will do for him!!) As a lady golfer I have tried many of the golf balls designed specifically for lasies, and although I found these to be good, my partner eventually persuaded me to try Callaway. As some Callaway products can be pricey, I decided to go for the Big Bertha Balls (Red for distance) which seem to be a little more reasonable than some of the other Callaway Balls. Cost me £17.99 for a dozen. Although they weren't miracle makers, my distance has definitely improved - reckon they go a good 10 yards further which is a big thing for me! I will definitely continue to use this type of ball and would recomment it to others also!...

Review of Callaway Big Bertha Series Golf Balls

Callaway HX TOUR Black

Advantages: these babies fly!!!!!!!
Disadvantages: price!!

...I won a dozen off these Callaway HX Tour black balls in a competition and am in love !! I have always played with Titleist Pro V1's in the past and didn't think anything would be able to beat them. These Callaways balls go an absolute mile when spanked off the tee with your driver. I would say slightly further than the pro v1. They also have excellent spin control when struck with your short irons into the greens. I have never had so much backspin with a ball before. I find them very nice to putt with as well , a real soft feel coming off the putter face. The only real draw back with these is the price. I believe they are currently retailing for around £36 a dozen but i believe them to be worth it , especially in the summer. I have found them to have knocked around 2-3 shots off of my game per round , i play off a 12 handicap...

Its on the ball

...I have a small home so when I needed a new vacuum cleaner I chose the Dyson DC24 which is a smaller version of the standard model. It cost £189.99. I was expecting almost a child sized vacuum cleaner but there is not really much difference at all. It was so simple to put together, there are peel off stickers on the unit to explain things as you go. It only took me 5 minutes to have it assembled. The ball makes vacuuming effortless, and the head of the vacuum is narrow so its easy to get under the sofa, low tables, etc. It has strong suction as you would expect from a Dyson but it is surprising how full the cylinder is when you have finished. It really gets everything up. This does mean however that you need to empty the dust cylinder quite frequently. The power cable is short and not retractable which can look a bit untidy if it is...

Dyson Ball DC25

Advantages: Very light and very manoeverable.
Disadvantages: Bit too light and moves around a lot.

...on the machine to stop it moving around. It comes with a 5 year guarantee which is not bad for household equipment, but the replacement filters are around £18 which i thought a bit expensive. The tools are easy to use and simple push in to the side of the machine. Very easy to clip on and off and of course saves storage space as they fit into the machine itsef. Removing the filters i found the top one easy, but the one in the ball very fiddly and quite hard to get out. On the whole i would recommend this product but only for small houses or flats. If you have a large home then i would suggest the larger and heavier model of this cleaner....

Dyson DC25 Animal - Having A Ball!

Advantages: Large collecting bin and great suction!
Disadvantages: Not so Lightweight, and Power Cord could be longer.

...My mum gave me this set of Ecozone Ecoballs® after she had received them as a gift. She asked me to try them out to see what I thought about them, knowing I like trying out new products. The box contained 3 Ecoballs®, 3 refill packs, 45ml tube of Ecozone stain remover and a very handy instruction leaflet. Apparently the contents of the box allow you to do 1000 washes based on a 30 minute cycle in the washing machine. (The balls with pellets last up to 750 washes and the refills included provide an additional 250 washes) Those in hard water areas may achieve a lower amount. ...Balls Of Steel is a somewhat controversial TV comedy show which was broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK and was presented by Mark Dolan. To date there has been three series. The idea of this show is that the 'acts' perform pranks or stunts on the unsuspecting public (and occassionally celebrities) infront of hidden cameras and, at the end of the show, the studio audience choose who has the biggest 'balls of steel' (who was the bravest). I personally found this very hit and miss. Some of the sketches were hilarious whereas others were dull and even annoying. I particularly like 'Neg's Urban Sports'. This consists of the lead character, Neg, creating a different Urban Sport based loosely on an actual sport. 'Burger Bowl Off' and 'Urban Sprinting' have been the best of the lot. ...I was given this game along with my Nintendo DS as a Christmas present, This game is not the greatest game that I have ever played the graphics are pretty basic, but it is played exactly the same as the television show and it is a game that I did not expect to have many hidden depths and is a game that can lose its exciting novelty value after playing it 5 or 6 times. The aim of the game is to win some money by working out who is lying, who is bluffing and who is telling the truth your way to the final and stealing or splitting the final cash amount with your opponent.
