Simple CALLER ID phone
Advantages: Compact and lightweight, modern looking, it has caller ID
Disadvantages: Needs batteries for the caller ID display
...***LOOKS***
I bought this 2-piece corded phone in silver to use in the bedroom (it's also available in white) for £10. It's compact so does not clutter up the bedside table. It's nice looking and feels quite sturdy.
***FEATURES***
The clarity is very clear. My main requirement was cost and the caller ID feature. If you want an inexpensive phone and are not bothered about fancy features, then this is ideal. It has a call log that stores up to 60 numbers that have called you and 15 numbers that you have called. So you can check without picking up the handset, using the up and down keys, the calls you have missed along with the time the call came. If there are any missed numbers, there is an LED indicator that flashes to let you know. This disappears once you have checked all the numbers that you have missed. If you want to call back...

An excellent day at New ID studios
Advantages: Great way to boost your confidence
Disadvantages: Pictures slightly pricy
...Despite some negative press I have nothing but good things to say about New ID in Birmingham. My friends have been harassing me for years to up my image and wear make up and give up my faithful pony tail so I decided to take the plunge and after having a look online was tempted by the last minute deals offered by New ID.
I chose the Deluxe make up photo shoot package and arrived a little late (I am hopeless at parking) expecting to get told off and found nothing but a warm reception and the offer of refreshments that were included I the deal, I almost chose the Bucks Fizz but as it was pretty early I settled for tea.
After a detailed explanation of the days events and a consultation I had a superb facial moisturizing treatment that made my skin look and feel amazing. Fresh faced I then was taking into the more than capable hands...

national ID cards - police or plastic?
Advantages: it would help with administration
Disadvantages: cost, implementation, efficiency
...Hi, I have written an essay on national ID cards so am going to give you a brief outline. (if you would like the full essay feel free to message me for it)
Basically the first ID card bill was introduced in the UK in May 2005 to try and tackle Britain's growing 21st century crime. - fraud, terrorism, illegal working/immigration. ID cards have worked well in other countries and that was one of the govts arguments in favour of ID cards. They also claim, according to their research, that it would significantly cut down on fraud, terrorism etc. However, experts have suggested that it would not make it harder to commit fraud as there would be ways around the new ID cards; even ones which contain biometric information. There is also evidence to suggest it wouldn't stop illegal immigration seeing as passports are unable to stop it. As...

Avoid prank callers with Choose to refuse
Advantages: Peace of mind and easy to set up and operate
Disadvantages: none
...the prank caller calls me and puts the phone down when I answer, I immediately ring the ‘choose to refuse’ helpline who will them ‘block’ that persons number from ringing me again. When the prank caller dials my number they hear a message – saying that the person they are ringing does not want to be contacted by them.
This service is available for 28 days, which is enough time in BT’s experience to deter a prank caller, the service is available free. After 28 days the service is withdrawn and you resume normal telephone calls. If the prank caller commences the calls again then BT will take more drastic action.
I have been using the service for 2 weeks now, and have only had one prank call – I then activated the ‘choose to refuse’ number and have not been bothered since! I think this is...

Nusisance Callers - Rid yourself forever.
Advantages: Gets rid of those annoying Phone Callers. It's great fun too.
Disadvantages: Absolutely none.
...My top tips to rid yourself of the dreaded Telephone Solicitor.
Nuisance telephone calls from companies soliciting for business are commonplace and more than a nuisance, they are bloody annoying. Out here in the USA this practice of soliciting for business is a business on its own. There are devices on the market which you can plug into your phone line to screen callers and reject unwanted calls.
However, there is another way to get rid of those unwanted callers, and it?s thanks to an op by Sue.51 that prompted me to write this op. I think you?ll find this way is a much more fun.
So let?s set the scene. You are sitting at the computer, writing your latest and greatest opinion on CIAO when the phone rings??..
THE ARGUMENT
Pretend to be having a row with someone else in the room with you (have a real row if you want), just...

Exceptional piece of equipment from Philips that delivers!
Advantages: Superb sound quality and easy to use
Disadvantages: Missed call and sim card transfer needs improvement
...is full colour providing a very clear and bright image. There are a number of different wallpaper designs built into the handset for personal preference. However unlike a mobile phone, you get what you get, it is not possible to download personal pictures to the phone. Whilst standing on the base unit, a screen saver kicks in after so many seconds and displays a low light analogue clock, very useful if you have a handset in a bedroom. When receiving calls, the phone is equipped with a caller ID feature. Basically this allows you to see who is calling you before answering. It should be noted however that this facility is dependant upon your service provider and is sometimes a chargeable optional extra provided by the phone company.
There are a variety of different ring tones built into the handset which can be selected according to...

I've got quads!
Advantages: Cool-looking, lots of functions, and caller ID
Disadvantages: None discovered as yet.
...I would like to introduce you to my brand new quads! - a set of four phones with the exciting tag of Philips ID937. What a name for designer phones!!
WHY?
OK, you have looked back through my other reviews and spotted other phones being reviewed by me. So you are asking, " Why is Trev buying more phones?"
Firstly, and honestly, the Philips ones we had, were looking really scruffy and the worse for wear. Remember that they do get a lot of use as they combine both personal and professional roles for me.
Secondly, and tearfully, I needed phones with caller ID functions. This was not about identifying parishioners before I talked to them, it was about mother-in-law.!! Having gone into sheltered accommodation, she has discovered that an antidote to loneliness is to ring us about 10 times a day.! While her son-in-law is a patient...

What I'd like, but I doubt I'll get
Advantages: My life would be simple!
Disadvantages: It'll never happen!
...you. You can just be your own person, free from the working world. You wouldn't have any bosses, just yourself. Perhaps, working on increasing the family would be a good idea.............
8. To have a huge cinema in my mansion
I would invite friends and family over, have a party, then watch a film. On a cinema screen. I'd make it just like a real cinema, without so many seats tho, lol!
7. A Mansion
WOW! A mansion, with all those rooms, I'd have to have a maid and servants, lol. How fun, my future kids would love it, especially when they invite friends round. I'd have it i the middle of a country side, with a little pond in the garden. Oh, and a huge indoor swimming pool - of coarse!
6. To have an everlating supply of crystals...
