This film is Dead Calm

Not as calming as it should be

...that box set was Aveda's Calming Body Cleanser. I was quite excited about this as Aveda's skincare was something I had thought about trying but I am so hung up on their hair care that it has always been bypassed as I head to get my shampoos and conditioners. This product uses aloe vera and witch hazel - two well known natural "soothers" - to purify and condition your skin whilst your mind is balanced and calmed by rose, vanilla and lavender. I have to say that the fragrance was very soothing. It has a warm, sweet fragrance which helps clear your mind and as with all Aveda "smells" it is quite earthy and it feels natural rather than being synthetically prepared. ...pale peach coloured, light in texture cream - not thick and claggy like some hair styling products. §§§ Does it calm my hair? §§§ It certainly makes my hair a little softer once dried but as far as it's claims of 'shiny, defined frizz-free curls' then it fails with my hair! After using it, my hair still has a slight frizz to it and isn't shiny. Stay Calm its Virgin Vie

Advantages: Does not cause any irritation like other sensitive skin creams.
Disadvantages: Quite expensive and not sold in the high street.

Virgin Vie is quite expensive but worth every penny the Stay Calm range is just excellent. You see I have developed, over several years, very sensitive skin and have tried loads of face creams for my skin type only to find that I am allergic to them, my face tingles, I itch then my whole face swells up and I can't go out for days!! Pretty Calm by name and nature

...To be perfectly honest I am dreadful when it comes to moisturising and it wasn't until the other day when I was invited to a Virgin Vie Party did I stumble across Virgin Vie Pretty Calm Body Lotion and thought I would give it a try. At the time I felt sort of obliged to buy something as it was a very good friend of mine hosting the party, but I am very happy now that I did. It comes is a beautiful bottle that you imemdiately place at the front of all your products just incase someone spots it when they come round. It looks extremely posh and very expensive, with a beautiful pink and black lid finishing it off nicely.
