...My mother bought one of the Campingaz Part Grills from Germany on her visit earlier this year. She spent 5 minutes on the phone trying to tell us what it was and I still didn't understand what she was on about. I was a little apprehensive as I already have a lot of camping gear including a hob type gas cooker so I wasn't sure how much use it would be for me. At the time I know she paid 35 EUROS for it but I have seen them over here in Millets outlets for £29.99 for the hob and about £7 for the gas can. There is another model available but its between 60 and 70 quid so it gets a little to expensive without many benefits. ...I have owned my cooker for 2 years. It has a number of features that I really like and a few things that I would change. The thing I found most impressive was that despite being a gas cooker it has both semi automatic and automatic cooking mode. The semi auto allows you to set an end time for the main oven. This is a feature that my old cooker had but it also has the additional bonus of being able to set both the start and finish time whch I did not realise could be done with gas. The setup instructions are a little complex though. I rarely use the top oven as it takes quite a while to get to temperature. It's main function for me is the grill which has varying heights but you cannot vary the heat. The design fault on the grill for me is that you cannot use it with the door shut. ...I bought this cooker when we changed our kitchen and got rid of the built in version to make more worktop space! I really wanted a range type cooker, but had to conceed that we didn't really have the space and would lose valuable cupboards. So I searched for the biggest capacity oven I could find that would fit the slot. This cooker is fully british made, and when the free roasting tin arrived scratched I contacted the manufacturer who promptly sent a new one out. The cooker is very easy to clean, the grill is halogenic and behind a sheet of glass so you just need to clean the glass. There are four gas burners, a large "wok" one two medium and one small and the hob is also easy to clean. I thought the WL stood for without lid, but it seems from the instructions that it means waist level. This was clearly lost on me at the time of purchase but I did not require a glass lid in any case. Beware confusion in the listed title description of this product. It is certainly not for LPG (liquid propane gas connection) and this is specifically mentioned in all the literature.
