Advantages: You can watch a porno movie if you are stuck at the bus station Disadvantages: None
...Campo Grande in itself is nothing special. This is the capital of the State of Mato Grosso, a mainly agricultural area of Brazil. We stayed at Hotel Continental, after 4 days spent in Pantanal, the region out of Campo Grande. The bus station is one of the main attraction of the City. It is huge, and includes various facilities, catering mainly for the people who live in the countryside and come to Campo Grande to wind down. There is even a porno cinema, and some of the hotels around the bus station have resident ladies in one of the oldest professions on earth. We went to what was supposed to be the best Churrascaria in town. Although a bit pricey for Brazil, the restaurant kept us to its reputation. I only remember this restaurant was on side street of the pedestrian area....

Review of Campo Grande
Advantages: GREAT GETAWAY TO PANTANAL Disadvantages: LONG HOURS ON THE BUS
...THE VERY FIRST THING YOU HAVE TO TRY ARRIVING IN CAMPO GRANDE IS THE PAO DI QEJO (CHEESE BREAD),FROM A SMALL COFFEE IN THE LOCAL "RODOVIARIA"(BUS STATION).ONCE YOU ARE BACK TO REALITY AFTER PROBABLY HOURS ON THE BUS COMING FROM ANOTHER TOWN,TAKE THE RUA BARAO DO RIO BRANCO AND WALK FOR ABOUT 500m.AT YOUR LEFT YOU'LL FIND A NICE LITTLE MUSEUM:MUSEU DOM BOSCO.IT HAS A HUGE COLLECTION OF INSECTS AND STUFFED ANIMALS.BUT THE REAON WHY I WENT TO THIS TOWN IS BECAUSE IT'S A EASY GETAWAY TO VISIT PANTANAL.
THERE ARE SEVERAL BUSES THAT WILL BRING YOU TO THE TOWN OF CORUMBA, THE JOURNEY TAKES AROUND SEVEN HOURS AND IF YOU ARE LIKE YOU CAN GET SOME REAL FUN ALONG THE WAY.
IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT PANTANAL CHECK MY OPINION ABOUT CORUMBA...

Review of Campo Grande
Advantages: see opinion Disadvantages: see opinion
...I'm just updating this because I'm aware that this is a pitifully small opinion. There isn't actually too much more that I could expound on the market, except to say that it was full of housewives who were laughing and joking in the way that they show them doing on tv adverts, and thoroughly enjoying the atmosphere of gossiping with their friends. This isn't exactly a tourist market, but as I explain below, there is a little trick up it's sleeve that makes it different...

The Italians have a wonderful language that makes anything sound truly magical. Campo de' Fiori means "Field of Flowers". Definitely magical, although not altogether accurate. There is no field of flowers here, well, not any more. What you do have is a bustling and thriving, vibrantly colourful market.
Just south...
Advantages: Tastes very fruity with woodland undertones Disadvantages: Not as nice as a Gran Reserva but much cheaper
...This wine is definitely a huge, juicy red wine! I was bought a present of a bottle of Campo Viejo Rioja Gran Reserva 1999 around 5 years ago from Spain and have been looking for it ever since. Obviously, it mustn't last that long! Since then I have bought a couple of bottles of Campo Viejo Reserva whenever I have seen it... one to drink and one for the wine rack...but that never seems to work somehow. I previously bought two from Oddbins on the high street a couple of years ago but I drank them both and they were delicious. Last week I saw some Campo Viejo Rioja Crianza 2002 in Tesco's at £5.99 a bottle and, as I had never tried this one, I again bought two. After drinking one last night I decided to write a review on it, so this is the review of the second bottle as I don't remember the first.
The bottle is made of green glass. It...

Review of Huge Juicy Red
...Siena is a small but exquisite Italian city. It is one of the lesser Italian tourist attractions, however, it is easily navigable and locals are friendly.
A must see is the Piazza del Campo - the shell-shaped piazza which is the heart of the city. I have spent many hours sitting out there of an evening or lunchtime watching the world go by. Each July and August it is the location of the Palio - the city's horse race. This is quite an event as every contrade (district) in the city has an opportunity to compete against the others and it is a great event in the Sienese calendar. The Palio is quite a colourful affair as there is a parade of the contrade who enter a horse into the competition and is a whole day of ceremony and celebration before the relatively short horse race. The Campo is also where little children in all sort...

Review of Siena (Italy)
...This is another recently-established municipality in this island, since it was founded in 1894. The main centre is Marina di Campo, a former fishermen's village built along the borders of a wide sandy bay. The village has become much larger through the addition of new buildings and accommodation facilities, which now reach as far as into the near-by pine wood that runs all along the beach. Campo beach is the longest one in the island and one of the most crowded during the Summer. Close to the old settlement centre is an ancient look-out and defense tower probably dating back to the times when the village was under the rule of Pisa.
In the plain behind the beach, approximately 1.5 miles from the village, there is the International Airport of the Isle of Elba, which is connected to the major national and international airports during...

Review of Livorno (Italy)
Advantages: Beautiful Glorious architecture, good food, Culture Disadvantages: Difficult to find any
...anywhere in Italy for sheer urban beauty and elegant architecture.
The Piazza del Campo is the most important magnet of Siena's many attractions and every visit to the city seems irresistably to commence there. It is hardly surprising for the campo ranks among the finest squares in all of Italy and is enclosed by a series of elegant palaces. Not to be missed too is the splendid Gothic Palazzo Pubblico or City Hall and its Museo Civico chocker-block with Sienese paintings. Nearby there is the graceful Torre del Mangia (Mangia tower) with a one-handed clock that used to sound the hour of mangiare (to eat).
The Duomo - the colourful cathedral - Took some three centuries to complete. The wait was worthwhile for it is a beautiful building, with its exterior dressed in distinctive layers of white and dark green marble.I think it is among my very...

Review of Siena (Italy)
Advantages: Very Entertaining and Memorable Disadvantages: Not A Complex Story
...a premonition by the main character Nick O'Bannon, played by Bobby Campo. After they escape their doom at the tracks, Campo sees various images consisting of random objects and sounds that he learns are clues to how the next person will die. He then spends the rest of the film trying to save those that he put on death's list. A list that there is no escape from. The Final Destination is a fan film, fans of random bloody deaths will love this new film and every new aspect about it. There is a lot of CGI blood in it as well, I do not necessarily notice it at all in the film though. The music consists of mostly hard rock and a sped up version of the theme from the other films. Various surprises and revelations made me love this movie.
I do not typically look much into special features that come with the movie, but I tried it out with this...
Advantages: Stunning Disadvantages: Missed the Palio - steep climb to old town
...Siena is probably most famous for the Palio - the psychotic, twice-yearly dash around Il Campo, the heart of this ancient, walled city. I'm sure most people are familiar with the carnival atmosphere generated during this frenetic, hell-for-leather race around the cobbles, but unfortunately the timing of our visit didn't coincide with the medieval equivalent of Whacky Races on sulph. Never mind.
The old town of Siena is built on and around three hills, and is completely free from traffic. Visitors have to park in one of several car parks outside the walls and proceed on foot. It's not a long walk, but it IS a steep walk. There are shuttle buses that run between the car parks and the town gates but, if you're like me and think impatience is a virtue, you can very-near kill yourself slogging up the practically vertical slope in...
