However, the earliest delivery date for this particular machine via the internet was a further 10 days and given that we were now without a working machine and with two small children as well, that clearly was not an option. So I decided that I would go in store the next day and try and blag the internet deal if they had the particular machine in stock. So into Comet I went and low and behold they had the machine which I wanted which was available for £349.99. I tried to get the assistant to honour the internet price but to no avail, so on principal I opted to purchase another comparable machine if one was available. Candy Candy Candy I can't let you go.

Advantages: realisistic loveable characters, excitement, love
Disadvantages: none

...of the best. Joe is a very anxious, self-concious boy. He is in a band but he is a silent guy. When he exits the train and steps out of King's Cross station, he sees a girl he instantly is fascinated by - Candy. He loses track of her but later he goes to a McDonalds and meets her again and even gets to talk to her. She is very straight-forward and Joe is totally charmed and fascinated when suddenly, a dangerous-looking black guy comes up and starts talking all weird, teasing Candy and asking her if Joe was paying. Joe is utterly confused and Candy departs. As he goes home he can't forget Candy and realizes that she slipped him a piece of paper saying her number and name. It takes Joe ages, but at some point he manages to call her and they even go to the zoo together. Candy is dressed less provocative and sexy, but is still amazingly beautiful - but...

The Candy GO 126 HTXT GrandÓ - A good buy!

Advantages: Great for the money you are paying.
Disadvantages: A few minor niggles, which could be dealt with.

...a problem with the vacuum seal, meaning that water can leak through the tiniest of gaps. While this isn't a huge problem, it can lead to complications as to why it's happened, and having to call in a repairer to sort it! It also means it needs regular cleans to make sure it isn't happening often. And their is another small problem, regarding the time and speed meters. The buttons can be a little unresponsive, and the machine doesn't really notify what is happening to you, so you can be left in the lurch about nothing, and get you incredibly confused. It can also be a little noisy, especially when going at fast speeds, but compared to other machines this is average. But on the all this machine is a worthy buy for the price, and is made to a high quality which Candy is esteemed for. I recommend this to anyone looking for a well priced, high...

Not all candy tastes sweet.

Advantages: good acting, fairly gripping
Disadvantages: a bit depressing, some people might be offended/squeamish!

..., throughout the film things turn more and more for the worse, firstly with Dan and Candy struggling to fund their habit. It begins with seemingly small gestures such as pawning jewellery and goes right up to Candy selling her body. At several points throughout the film the characters seemingly wonder what their life has come to and touch upon stopping, but keep going. The two characters have inreasing troubles with each other also, from being deep in love to little squabbles to bigger, more frequent fights, to Candy not standing the sight of Dan, blaming him for getting her involved in something she, from a good family, wouldn't otherwise have got caught up in. Overall I found the film entertaining, despite its grim nature, although at times disturbing as I for one feel a little uncomfortable watching footage of drug use, particularly involving...

Sour Candy

Advantages: Great perfomance from Ellen Page, an intriguing thriller
Disadvantages: Doesn't quite live up to all the hype

...sticks in your mind. "Hard Candy" has been tagged by many as the most controversial thriller of the year. Though I wouldn't go so far as to place it among the top flight of thrillers, it is certainly intriguing. It turns the tables on the viewers and characters, teasing out a virtuoso performance from Ellen Page that should kickstart her movie career. However, the final few minutes are a tad anti-climactic and the film could have done with a firmer hand in the editing. With a few tweaks here and there it could have been a great film. As it stands it is merely a good one - but that's no bad thing....

Fancy Some Candy Rain Drops?

Advantages: Lots of bangers
Disadvantages: A couple of tracks let it down

The strings heard in "Candy Rain" to open it comes through on this one, and it gets Tone (of the Trackmasters) producing things again, and choosing to put a little voice box stylings into it all as it gives them a little Teddy Riley-esque edge (which was popular at the time). It lasts over eight minutes, and they manage to engage you through the entire thing by swicthing things up regularly with verses, instrumentals, and segments with the voice box. **Four Stars** 9. "If Only You Knew" This one has them going right back to the earliest years of R&B, or when this became the umbrella term for Soul, Funk etc., as it gets them using the type of Motown production, that it used with its less Pop, and more Soul performers. Personally, I didn't think that I could really feel the Soul as the then-fifteen-year-old, Jason took lead, but many may see it...

Candy come up trumps..

Advantages: Good quality, washes well at lower temperature.
Disadvantages: Detergent chamber prone to opening during wash

...Call me a Luddite, but up until November 2006, I had never owned a dishwasher. Being part of a couple, I hadn't found that our pots and pans were that demanding to keep on top of with a manual wash. On the occasions we had a few people round for dinner, I have to admit that the choice of i) Having another cold beer or ii) Scouring the pots by hand was an easy one to make, but that just meant a little more tough scrubbing and a squirt more Fairy the next morning. A little treat from the Candy Shop.

Advantages: A great product at a more than reasonable price.

...I'd been wanting to try out E.L.F's make-up range for years, but hearing mixed reviews I kind of stayed away until last week when I had a bit of spare money and thought 'Oh heck, why not?' I spent a good 45 mins to an hour pouring over all the products and picking out a couple I really liked the look of. Their Candy Tins were actually the first thing I chose after being completely won over by the design on the tins. E.L.F E.L.F (Eyes, Lips, Face) is an American born brand where 'Beauty meets Value.' Over in the States all the products are priced at $1. Following a similar rule over here, all the products are priced at a tiny £1.50. I wouldn't normally, but I had a reply to my product proposal for Candis the other day, just as I was in the middle of my Bella offering. However, they are different magazines with different styles, so I hope it's not too boring ! I started reading Candis about 4 years ago. A very nice elderly lady knocked on our front door and sold an issue to us. I don't normally buy things from door to door salespeople, but this lady wasn't your typical 'rep'. She explained about the magazine and about the Club, and let me have a look at it. It only cost around £2 back then, and so I decided to try it out.
