...I've had my Cannon Oxford cooker, for about 4 years now, and accept for one minor mishap, which was my fault, 'I broke the door handle'. It's as good today as the first day I brought it, and in fact still looks just as new, 'Honest' By the way after breaking the door handle, I was able to replace it the following day from our local dealer, at very little expense. It's a very basic gas cooker, no fancy gadgets, split level, freestanding cookers, which fits in nicely with the standard kitchen worktop height. A glass top lid, with fancy white inlaid pattern, 4 ring burners adorn the cooker top, one large and one small, front and back, three basic heat settings, high, medium and simmer, There is a minute minder dial on the front of the cooker 1-60 mins, this where you will find all the cookers controls, including oven, and ignition...

D'YOU THINK I CAN(NON) COOK ANY BETTER, NOW?

Advantages: A gas hotplate which gives instantly controlable heat.
Disadvantages: So far I haven't encountered any disadvantages.

...and two simmering. I personally can't find much difference between them except the sizes. Two burners are 3" in diameter and two are 4" in diameter. There are two cast iron pan supports which cover all four burners. Cannon advise that pans with diameters between 4" and 9" should be used on the hotplate and that pans should be sited centrally over the burners. I have used a Paella pan with an 11" diameter on the hotplate several times and not encountered any problems. Each burner has a spark ignitor for lighting the gas. ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞ I've found that cleaning the cooker is fairly easy and straightforward. After allowing the cooker to cool, I find that hot soapy water and a cloth with a good dose of elbow grease works well on all the surfaces...

Cannons - West Byfleet

...I read the previous review and think it needs an update! I joined Cannons West Byfleet in November 2007 - the refurb is complete as far as I am aware. The lockers are fine, showers no less reliable than other clubs, the air con works OK and the bar/cafe area is much more pleasant than it used to be! Classes are busy but there are fewer of them than at some clubs (I moved from David Lloyd Brooklands where there was far more choice) but the ones I have tried (pilates, yoga and body balance) are great. The prices have come down since the previous review - we pay around £106 all up for a family for the month - which breaks down to something like £48 per adult and £5 each per child for peak membership (less than half what David Lloyd were charging us!) The gym is not the best around - with low ceilings and a fairly restricted...

...In Cannon Fodder 2 (like in the original) the player controls a small squad of soldiers on a battlefield that is viewed from above. The game is split into a series of missions, which must be completed in order. The game figures are moved and commanded with a mouse which is also used to aim and fire the guns within the battle - imagine Dune II type battles but on a closeup, grunt level and with a lot less icon clicking - the player just points the cursor at the enemy figure and fires the gun with the mouse click. The problem is it is exactly the same as the first game, no attempt has been made to make the gameplay more varied and as with the first the missions soon get repetitive, good to buy if you don#t own the first or are a big fan of the first, otherwise don't bother....

Are you ready to be the cannon fodder

...Cannon fodder a game that allows you to control a small army of men at the click of a mouse and using rockets, guns, and grenades you have to complete your mission. In my opinion cannon fodder is a good game, perhaps the best part is the fact that its such a non-serious game, its so good to be able to control soldiers in the battlefield with such a light hearted theme. A very enjoyable game one for whole family who like a bit of action with out the great violence and seriousness of some other games. The view point of the gameplay is that of a bird, the top view and usually I would say this is a bad point of a game however some how cannon fodder 2 uses it very effectively. However this game after a while when it starts getting hard can become slightly repetive and some people may become bored of it. Overall though a very fun...
