Advantages: Good sized main oven - when it is working.
Disadvantages: Unreliable. Parts interlinked & when one part fails it causes others to fail.

...My husband and I bought this cooker 16 months ago and have recently had several replacement parts. The cooker has not been fixed, so, for over a month now, we have only had use of two and a half rings and part of the grill. Although insured, we have just been advised that we have to pay towards delivery and installation of a new cooker. We have not accepted the offer of a replacement C60EKS! The clock is so sensitive that you just brush against it and it changes the time. The timer goes off even when it has not been set. The nobs for the rings, grill and ovens are laid out in a row, and it is difficult to see which nob controls which ring. You find yourself turning on/off the wrong ring. When my cooker failed, I heard 3 small bangs and a smell of burning. I immediately lost the use of both my ovens and the back right hob...

Canon's a real blast at cooking

Advantages: responsive, reliable, looks good, consistent temperatures
Disadvantages: not every one likes a low grill

...I?ve always had a gas cooker and I suppose you get used to using one. When I was young and still living with my parents we had a Canon gas cooker and when I bought my first house I had a Cannon. I have stuck with the brand except for the cooker prior to my present one and that was a Beko which was left in the house when we moved in. Disappointed

...Purchase on the 24th January, in the sales, it was brand new and in its original packing, when unpacked, the grill control assembly was found to be adrift and unusable. We had to arrange with Cannon for a replacement, after being told there woud be a 10 day wait for service. A uplift number was given. Well today, Sunday the 8th February, the new replacement cooker arrived, all packed as it left the factory, it was unpacked and when I inspected it I found the following: 1) 4 of the timer buttons jammed in when pressed. 2) There was creases in the metal case sides (ok this would not be seen when fitted but thats not the point) The laughable thing is that these come with a slip of paper stamped all over giving the inspections and quality controls, Cannon is part of the Indesit group. Third on coming Tuesday, fingers crossed...

...The C60 is a phone for those of you who want a decent phone, not too pricey, not too tacky. It has polyphonic ringtones, of which there 10 to start with, 2 good games, a colour screen and room for improvement with a camera expansion available for about £20, depending on where you buy it. Priced at about £60-70, it's not going to break the bank. Although the phone is good value for money, and is good enough for the casual user, it seems to have a few problems, however it is through no fault of it's own. The phones availability for downloading extra ringtones, wallpapers, etc. is very low. ...What is Cannon Hall Farm? Cannon Hall Farm is a fully functioning, working farm set in the Pennine hills in Barnsley. It is an award winning farm, and offers a great day out for the family. It is situated adjacent to Cannon Hall - however having never been in here as they don't allow pushchairs, I am unable to review this. My review will be solely on Cannon Hall Farm. Access It is 10 minutes off Junction 37 on the M1. The farm is signposted, and once you have reached Cannon Hall there is a large car park there, or you can follow the signs to "open farm" to be parked near to the Farm. There are 100s of car parking spaces, and there are disabled car parking spots which are located near the entrance. ...I've had my Cannon Oxford cooker, for about 4 years now, and accept for one minor mishap, which was my fault, 'I broke the door handle'. It's as good today as the first day I brought it, and in fact still looks just as new, 'Honest' By the way after breaking the door handle, I was able to replace it the following day from our local dealer, at very little expense. It's a very basic gas cooker, no fancy gadgets, split level, freestanding cookers, which fits in nicely with the standard kitchen worktop height. A glass top lid, with fancy white inlaid pattern, 4 ring burners adorn the cooker top, one large and one small, front and back, three basic heat settings, high, medium and simmer, There is a minute minder dial on the front of the cooker 1-60 mins, this where you will find all the cookers controls, including oven, and ignition...

D'YOU THINK I CAN(NON) COOK ANY BETTER, NOW?

Advantages: A gas hotplate which gives instantly controlable heat.
Disadvantages: So far I haven't encountered any disadvantages.

...and two simmering. I personally can't find much difference between them except the sizes. Two burners are 3" in diameter and two are 4" in diameter. There are two cast iron pan supports which cover all four burners. Cannon advise that pans with diameters between 4" and 9" should be used on the hotplate and that pans should be sited centrally over the burners. I have used a Paella pan with an 11" diameter on the hotplate several times and not encountered any problems. Each burner has a spark ignitor for lighting the gas. ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞ I've found that cleaning the cooker is fairly easy and straightforward. After allowing the cooker to cool, I find that hot soapy water and a cloth with a good dose of elbow grease works well on all the surfaces...
