...The first things that you notice about the Canon FB630Ui scanner are the striking blue colour of the lid, and the diminutive size. Set up is pretty straightforward provided you know how to install software - the manual is not as helpful as it should be. The scanner itself takes power via the USB port so there's less leads to trail. Scanning a document is reasonably quick, and the one touch button to launch the relevant software is very useful. Supplied software is pretty comprehensive also. For a simple, inexpensive scanner, the Canon FB630Ui is hard to beat.... Read review

...The Cannon BJC 4200 was a fairly good printer in its time. Now a days as newer models have been produced, it is falling well below standards. The quality of the print out is not particularly high quality and tends to be fairly slow. The ink cartridges need to be replaced regularly, which could be a problem if you have a large document to print out. However newer models from cannon are up to date and meet all modern specifications. I wouldn’t recommend this printer to you, instead go for a newer model.... Read review

...The AE1 is now well past its prime as far as a lot of the shops are concerned. It can still take the best of photographs though. It is a super camera with two modes, programme mode and shutter priority mode. This camera is very good for an inexperienced photographer or as a first camera. You can set the camera on programme and it will do it all for you without you having to worry about anything. It takes a 35 mm film. This camera can be fitted with a motor drive taking up to 4 frames a second or a small motor drive that can take up to 2 frames a second. It is still obtainable from Jessops the camera shop which is found in most towns. Although because it is a Canon it is still very much sought after. Often it is found second hand although most people having an AE1 will hang on to it.... Read review

...This camera is an excellent DSLR for any beginner or amatuer. I bought this when Photography was just a hobby, now on a degree course I still find it exceptional. A little more camera to hold on to compared with the 2 newer models, which I personally prefer. As previously stated it is compatible with all canon EF lenses, so if you wish to update in the future you can carry your lenses with you! I personally love my camera and despite being updated twice since my purchase it has held its value wonderfully. Canon offer an endless supply of accessories for their cameras, most reasonably priced for plenty of experimentation and fun. I cannot fault my experience so far with canon. Advantages: Fun non-serious style,

...Cannon fodder a game that allows you to control a small army of men at the click of a mouse and using rockets, guns, and grenades you have to complete your mission. In my opinion cannon fodder is a good game, perhaps the best part is the fact that its such a non-serious game, its so good to be able to control soldiers in the battlefield with such a light hearted theme. A very enjoyable game one for whole family who like a bit of action with out the great violence and seriousness of some other games. The view point of the gameplay is that of a bird, the top view and usually I would say this is a bad point of a game however some how cannon fodder 2 uses it very effectively. However this game after a while when it starts getting hard can become slightly repetive and some people may become bored of it. Overall though a very fun game... Read review

...The Canon Pixma was the first printer I ever bought. I used it to print my school projects and mainly my report papers. It works great but not as fast as laser printers. Sometimes after you're done printing you have to wait a couple of seconds for the ink to dry out. The printer uses a standard canon ink cartridge, it's very small so you have to constantly change it every so often if you are always using it. I highly recommend a Laser printer if you need to print many documents and a laser printer is well suited in a fast-paced, working environment. But if you're just a student like I am you can use the Pixma IP1500, It does the job well. ALSO the Canon Pixma is also good for printing coloured photos, and envelopes, ETC. The Canon Pixma also comes with a printing software and photo editor. However you may have to purchase ADOBE... Read review

Disadvantages: difficult to find 2nd hand now - all snatched up quickly

...This is still a brilliant camera even counting its age. You can buy it secondhand still in good camera shops but getting one in good condition can be a bit of a challenge but never the less the time an effort is worth it. It has 3 modes. Programme, where it does everything for you except focus, aperture priority where you choose the aperture and the camera sets the shutter speed and shutter priority where you set the shutter speed and the camera sets the aperture. It has a double exposure facility. This canon camera can be fitted with a motor drive that will take up to 5 frames a second. Pictures with this camera cannot be faulted. You can still find the flashes for this A1 camera and this is easier to find than the good condition camera. Using genuine canon lenses equals superb optics. You can still pick up various lenses... ...I have built up my camera kit over a period of years on a very tight budget whilst trying to raise a family. I brought my EOS600 3 years ago for £180 with a cheap Sigma 35-80 lens. I read lots of reviews in magazines and decided that for the spec, no other budget used AF SLR comes close. This was the EOS 1 of its day, when Minolta and Canon were battling for supremacy in the new AF market. 5fps motorwind, Predictive AF, Depth mode , Program Mode, Shutter Priority, Aperature Priority, Full Manual, Partial Metering, Multi Segment and Manual Metering are some of the main features this camera has. I have now upgraded my lenses to a Sigma 100-300 and a Canon 28-80 USM. The results are excellent and the USM lens works as well as on the the very latest EOS cameras. Advantages: cheap ink, fast printing, quiet mode

...The canon ip1500 is probably the best printer i have had, It is smart looks good and unlike other cheap models out there it works perfectly fine, This printer is a fast printer and has several features like head cleaning and low ink warning. The ink for this printer unlike some others on the market is also cheap so you cant go wrong with buying a canon ip1500 cheap printer which does a good job and cheap ink which lasts a while. Its fast reliable and cheap. This printer retails at about £40 and the ink i used to buy from a site called choice stationary and i pay about £3 for my ink. Black and colour. I have had my printer now for about 2 years and i have not had one problem with it at all.
