Canon EOS 60D, is it worth the money?
Advantages: The 60D has all the frame rates of the 7D and T2i/550D and manual audio like the 5DmkII .
Disadvantages: Build Quality/weatherproofing
...at up to 8fps (frames per second), the 60D is slower even than the old 50D, dropping from 6.3fps to 5.3fps.
You also only get the same 9-point autofocus system as the old 50D and DIGIC 4 image processor, making it look a bit of a poor relation compared with the Canon 7D, which has a more generous 19-point AF system and dual DIGIC 4 processors.
Just comparing specs both the 60D and 7D are virtually...

Advantages: Good Value Product
Disadvantages: Nothing so far
...looks good. After using this product for a few months I have not so far come up against any reliability issues but only time will tell. I therefore would recommend the product. However, always think carefully as to whether you actually really need something before you buy it. We buy so many things nowadays that we don't really need.
