The Canon i560, a hard act to follow.
Review of Canon i 560 by  jerzed

Advantages: Fast, Quiet, Economical, Stunning quality, PictBridge interface
Disadvantages: Cannot print CDs, Flimsy output tray

...560 uses the same cartridges that go back to several previous models and that makes them readily available from virtually anywhere in the universe. It takes the larger capacity BCI-3eBK black cartridge and seperate cartridges for each colour BCI-6C/Y or M respectively and these are a decent capacity too. The original cartridges are pricey-ish but the capacity is OK. generics of decent quality are readily available for about £2.00 a piece as opposed about £7.00 for originals. Go to choicestationery.com for the best prices. The i560 prints borderless photos and the quality is indistiguishable from a so-called photo-printer. The latter using another 2 extra cartridges. I defy anyone to tell the difference. One really usefull extra is the "PictBridge" capability that allows PictBridge enabled cameras to print directly to the printer... Read review

Another WINNER from Canon, the Dog's Wossnames
Review of Canon PIXMA IP3000 by  jerzed

Advantages: Superb Print Quality, Exceptional borderless Photos, Fast, Cheap Compatible Ink Cartridges, Well Made, Prints on printable CDs/DVDs too
Disadvantages: No parallel connection. Does not make coffee

...to the carrier, dead handy if it needs replacing. The cartridges are a simple affair and unlike the rip-off HP and Lexmark items, do not have a built in print-head, so generic replacements are dead cheap (although the genuine Canon ones are quite dear). The iP3000 takes four cartridges, a large BCI-3eBk black and three seperate BCI-6 c/m/y cartridges, meaning that you don't waste a load of ink having to replace an entire cartridge just because one colour has run out. BEST place for cartridges, www.choicestationery.com superb service too. You get a full set of cartridges supplied with the printer, but at some time you will need replacements. Don't even think about refilling them as the Choice compatibles are undiscernable from the originals. As I said, setup is a doddle. paper feed is also very versatile with a bottom paper tray as well... Read review

Canon BJI 6500-This is one useful REVIEW!
Review of Canon BJ I6500 by  Saiyan

Advantages: Quality is outstanding!
Disadvantages: A3 paper may be taken in angled (1 in 10 chances - for me)

...Cartridge BCI-3e C – Cyan Cartridge BCI-3e M – Magenta Cartridge BCI-3e Y – Yellow Cartridge The ink cartridges all cost between 10 to 50+ pounds depending on the brands name. PCWorld (here in Luton/Dunstable) sell their own brand of the ink cartridge for a really good price –> 15 pounds, so be careful where you buy your ink from, and also note refilling cartridges may also be MUCH cheaper. *Supported Paper The printer supports many types of papers including all of the basic ones such as (It’s a Photo Printer so it supports much more types then normal printers do) glossary paper (all types – thick, shiny), envelopes, letter papers, transparency sheets. * 39dB dB - sound level Supported Not many printers support 39dB dB - sound level mode. This is an exciting extension to the printer for advanced users. You can... Read review

Canon M80
Review of Canon Media Storage M80 by  psmallri2

Advantages: None apart from it uses same batteries as othe Canon Camers - whoopee!
Disadvantages: The Software, it's speed, and it's "clunkiness" and lack of information when it does things!!!

...I have sent this to Canon, and they don't seem to care. You may also find this under other threads but I thought it might be more visible under it's own thread. ------------------------------------------------------------ Sent to Canon UK - I am in the UK and comments about the web site refer to Canon.co.uk. I am a long standing Canon user, having an EOS-30D, G7, A700, several EF Lens, Speedlites, Pixma iP8500 Printer, and several other Canon accessories. A few years ago I purchased an Epson P-2000 photo viewer , and was extremely happy with it but quickly ran out of disk space. I was pleased to see Canon had announced the M30/M80 devices so decided to wait for it to be available in the UK. I waited, and held off purchasing an Epson P-5000 as an upgrade. My Canon M80 device duly arrived and I took the opportunity to transfer all... Read review

Couldn't use C so I'll Use Y for Yummy Choccies!
Review of Everything that starts with Y ... by  Siobhany

Advantages: Who can resist chocolate?!
Disadvantages: *Warning* This review may cause cravings!

...These 'Everything from A-Z' things kinda suck don't they? I can only use one letter once - i can't use C again *sob sob* for what was going to be Chocolate so it's Y instead for Yummy Chocolate! A second installment to my wacky idea of asking a few Ciao members what they like to eat and why but instead of crisp flavours i have decided to base it upon your favourite chocolate bars. There isn't one person on this planet that i know that doesn't like chocolate with the exception of a few people - it can be sooo addictive at times depending on what it is. As before i have asked everyone, 'What is your favourite chocolate bar at the moment and can you give me a large description why?' Straight away i could see quite a few people like the same chocolate bar but with so many brands and varieties a few of you all like the same one... Read review

CANON C20 MULTIPASS - SCAN, FAX, & PRINT - Check It Out!
Review of Canon MultiPASS C20 by  emlin

Advantages: All
Disadvantages: None

...When I read about this wonderful machine, I knew I had to have one. I own a scanner but it's quite loud so I decided to splurge and get the Canon C20 Multipass. Also, my Fax option/program on my Compaq lemon has never worked so I knew this Multipass would solve all my problems. ~~~~~ I have been using the same Hewlett Packard printer for almost four years and, though it still prints well, the HP printer uses a lot of very expensive ink. The cartridges are $30.00 US and they aren't that big anymore and I go through one every two months. So I decided to shop around for an all-in-one machine. ~~~~~ When I read about the Canon C20 Multipass, I knew that I wanted it. It has a sleek design and looks great. The function buttons are clearly marked and simple to understand and operate. They have a great manual design as well... Read review

Canon Multifunction Fax-Printer-Scanner-Copier
Review of Canon MultiPASS C50 by  vinodgm

Advantages: Multipurpose, cheap, easy to maintain
Disadvantages: Bit complicated to use in the beginning

...I am posting this opinion here as I'm quite sure that the C50 is the same as the C530. Canon Multipass C530 – Fax, Printer, Scanner and Copier. = The Canon MultiPass C530 is extremely easy to set up. In the beginning, it's a little confusing to operate which is due to its many functions. Once you get the hang of it, then its really quite easy to operate. The printer function is just as easy as any other printer (although I don’t print much with this as I already have an HP Printer), and the printing and copying quality is reasonably good. Images and documents are easily scanned, no matter what the size. There are different settings depending on what you're scanning. The scanning quality is a lot better than the old Flat Bed Scanners, so if your not fussy... Read review

A slightly less explosive Canon.
Review of Canon EOS 1000D by  thebigc1690

Advantages: Typically good Canon images.
Disadvantages: Poor flash and feels a bit flimsy.

...to have that at your finger tips. Of all of these things the only one that can't be rectified is the flimsy issue because you can of course buy any lens you choose and also change the flash to a flash unit but the problem with that is then you are spending big and the whole point of a entry level DSLR is to cut cost, if you want to spend big just buy a higher spec unit in the first place. You won't believe what this printer can do!
Review of Canon Pixma IP6600D by  LadyLuna

Advantages: Too many to mention, read the complete reviews!
Disadvantages: Performance is poor for business applications, but excellent for photos

...not tried it. ** Installation ** After checking the contents to make sure everything is there, we had to unbind the printer itself from bunch of its protective material and tape. Everything is clearly marked almost always in orange. It took us less than 15 minutes to set up the Canon Pixma iP6600D; we spent most of time removing protective shipping tape and installing the printhead and the six ink cartridges. ** Full specifications ** Resolutions -> up to 9,600 x 2,400 dpi for both color and black printing Printer type -> Photo printer Ink-jet Print method -> Color inkjet Print speed: 4" x 6" borderless photo in as little as 46 seconds; 8.5" x 11" photo in approximately 1.8 minutes Memory -> 42 KB RAM LCD screen -> 3.5" color Nozzles -> 512 x 6 colors (C, M, Y, Bk, PC, PM); Total: 3,072 Ink droplet size -> One and five...
