Canon shot up a notch in my books

Reduced in a sale, the Canon Selphy CP600 cost me £60, and it was definitely £60 well spent. On my daughters birthday I got to take over and try the thing out, and it was very good. The Canon is designed to print photos up to 4 by 8 inches, and the speed of print was brilliant, about 70 seconds for a 4 by 6 inch borderless photo. In addition to offering good speed, it prints good looking output and comes with a rechargeable battery for full portability. So of course I had to steal it and take it to work (as I do with all my children's gadgets) to have a good little play so I charge up the battery (it takes roughly 2hr 30mins to charge from flat) and I took along...

Excellent Printer From Canon

Advantages: Excellent Print Quality, Fast Printing, Reasonable Price

...My printer had been playing up for a couple of months, I normally (99% of the time) only use it for printing in black for invoices, however I do occasionally print something off in colour and sometimes print a photo. It was missing one of the colours out now and again and so I decided it was time for a new one. Why Canon? I also think the design of the Canon printers is very good, I think they are far better to look at than most other makes and this is quite important when you are going to be looking at it everyday, sat on your desk. Advantages: Easy to use, affordable and fast

...I use the printer at work for various projects and it is superb. The color quality is excellent. It prints pictures and photos better than any printer I have used. The printing speed is fast and high quality. The printer is easy to use and easy to order supplies for. It is very reliable, I hardly have any paper jams with it and when I do it is very easily fixed. In the past I have used printers where when the toner runs out it is difficult to replace or order the correct replacement but not with this printer. Replacing items is extremely easy. This printer is a great value for the money considering the toners etc are not expensive as with a lot of other photo printers etc. I would recommend this printer to anyone....

Make exellent photos at home!!!

...I bought this printer along with the kodak cx7220 digital camara and the both make the perfect pair!! you just dock in your camara and you will have your own home made prints in seconds! It is very easy to use, i barely even read the manual and i was ready to make my pictures. The quality of the pictures is exellent and they look as if they were the typical over-the-counter pictures that you get at your usual processing center, and what makes it even better is that you can make changes to your pictures by editing them with the easyshare sofware that comes in the package. The kodak paper included with the printer comes with a protective film so that you pictures last for longer. The design is very sleek and compact making it easy to situate anywhere around the house. You have the option to divide your picture in 2, 4 or 9...

...What a great printer! I bought one 12 months ago for my Canon Ixus digital camera (although this printer works with any "PictBridge" compatible camera) and haven't looked back. I'm sure if I added up the price of the printer and the paper/ink packs then it would take a very long time before I started saving money not using photo labs, but it's good fun to use and handy being able to print photos whenever you want (e.g. if a relative comes round and wants a copy). The printer is a real no-brainer to use with a PictBridge-compatible camera - just plug the camera into it and press the "print" button (it can also be plugged into a PC and used like a conventional printer). Canon's A3 plus photo printer

Advantages: A3+ capability, fantastic quality, great software
Disadvantages: expensive to buy

...This is the second Canon A3 colour printer I've owned. I had the i9950's predecessor the S9000. The key advantage that this model has over the S9000 is the addition of two extra ink cartridges (red and green) to make eight in total. I've got to say that I'm delighted with the results the colours are very vibrant and there is a definite lift in the red end of the spectrum. It's very quick in operation with an A3 print coming through in 90-120 seconds (depending on paper and settings). The free Easyphoto Printer software which is bundled with the product makes is simple and intuitive to use. If you want to try before you buy the Canon UK website lets you send them a JPEG file over the web and they'll send you back a free sample 6" x 4" print, produced from any of their chosen printers. Canon MP 460 printer

Advantages: cheap
Disadvantages: poor photo prints

...to print over 50 different photos. All of them were left looking like everyone had freckels and skin tones were next to useless. Definatly not ones you want to show anyone. Even when put through a cleaning cycle there was no difference. On the bright side, when you printed text using only black ink it was crisp and very clear right down to no 8 font size. Apart from the nice looking screen area it has nothing to excite me. After using the machine for a week I have took it back to the shop, why, because of the banding, lack of colour depth and a sqeek on the slide rail when the cartridges are going across. So not really impressed with this one. I would stay clear and pay more for a good printer. Canon has failed on this one I think....

How about a PictureMate

Advantages: Very easy to use, light and compact, prints excellent quality photos.
Disadvantages: To get a good quality photo it is better to use Epson glossy paper.

The colours are so life like and it would seem so bad to waste it with a poor quality picture so get a good camera please. -The software- The printer will work with any of the canon software or any Photo shop software either. The software provided is ok. It is basic but will allow you to crop and edit photos. It will also let you get rid of red eye and add anything too it if you wish.
