canon ixus cameria
Review of Canon Digital IXUS 430 by
agermanman
Advantages: good quality photos
Disadvantages: none really
...IXUS digital the Canon 430 the third Camera of the "little" Canon generation is here . The dimensions and the reception quality make also this Digi - Camera again to an all around great product. A Digitalzoom rounds off the Drei. The handling of the Camera is simple and just as the easy is the software of Canon. Whether one needs 4 Megapixel, must decide each for, enlarge performs good services to that. I had yet no problems with the rechargeable batteries in contrast to other Cameras.
With the ID-photo-Print, picture print out become for passport pictures or application purposes the children game: simply connect and print out the portrait without the need for a PC at a Canon Card photo Printer, whose use is by the way also prerequisite for the Movie-Print-mode. A newly developed Print/Share-key drives all functions for simple...

Review of Canon Digital IXUS 85 IS by
SIVJEY
Advantages: 10 mega pixel gives amazing quality of shots
Disadvantages: not very weather proof
...The Canon Digital IXUS 85 IS is a phenominal camera, its zoom goes uo to 4x. It is also made from a light weight casing, making the whole camera weigh 130grams. This camera is amazing for capturing the most important moments in life, its has 10 mega pixels alowing it to take crips pictures of life time moments. Having a flash drive proves very useful as pictures can be transferred to your computer and viewed. Havingbought it at £220it was a bargain and has been working ever since its purchase. It seems to have a good durability the zoom is great for takin long distance shots. This camera is one of the best selling at this time and will make an amazing present for anyone....

Review of Canon PowerShot A70 by
mintsuper
Advantages: It was a good, powerful, easy to use camera
Disadvantages: Got manufacturer defect, Not very light weight
...I bought Canon Power Shot A70 from US a year ago. Now I am in UK and one day suddenly found my Canon LCD is just showing some horizontal lines instead of any picture output. I was sooo disappointed with this. Tried a lot to fix it but nothing happened. I was then just surfing the web for any instruction to fix this problem when I found an Announcement in Canon USA and also Canon UK site that these A series and many other Canon product [Other Canon Product List: Digital IXUS II, Power Shot A300, Power Shot A70, MV600, MV650i, MV700i, MV5i, MV6iMC, Digital IXUS 400, Power Shot A40, Power Shot A95, Digital IXUS IIs, Power Shot A310, Power Shot A75, MV600i, MV690, MV730i, MV5iMC, Digital IXUS330, Digital IXUSV2, Power Shot A80, Power Shot S60,Digital IXUS V3, Power Shot A60, MV590, MV630i, MV700, MV750i, MV5, Digital IUS430, Digital IXUS 500...

Canon Ixus
Review of Canon Digital IXUS 50 by
watso75
Advantages: Compact, sleek, easy to use, excellent picture quality, good video quality
Disadvantages: Buttons can be a little small, screen on rear could be larger
...I bought this camera when it was new over 2 years ago now. I is still as reliable as when first bought. Picture quality is excellent and ease of use superb. This is one of the best digital compact cameras i have used an although was over £200 when new can be bought at a fraction of the cost now. Screen on rear is adequate size but the newer version (Ixus 60 and above) have all the same features but a larger screen. If you are looking for a camera where picture quality is of most importance then for the money i feel you cant do much better than this particular camera or one from the same range depending on your budget. Only downside is that the red-eye reduction can occasionally be a bit hit or miss, or maybe its the way i use it...

Top Cannon
Review of Canon Digital IXUS 750 by
coopstheref
Advantages: Easy to use, great looking, excellent screen, viewfinder.
Disadvantages: None
...I needed a replacement for my fuji digital camera and the IXUS seemed to fit the bill exactly. I was a bit put off by the price at first but obtained one from the Cannon outlet store on ebay at about £100 cheaper than the RRP. Having used the camera for several months now I can say that even at the recommended price it would have been good value. Pictures are first class, with much more detail than my old fuji. There is enough manual control for most although more experienced photographers may be looking for more manual settings. However for a point and shoot camera there are more than enough options. The controls are well set out and the screen is a delight. Many digitals now have done away with a viewfinder, however this was a must have feature for me and is a welcome inclusion. I am especially impressed with the quality of pictures...

Small and Shiny Ooooohh
Review of Canon Digital IXUS I by
Alexmouse
Advantages: Small and Shiny!
Disadvantages: No case or power supply
...This camera is wonderful. A fully functional compact, easy to use techno-mini. Basically it's an electronic version of the film based Canon Ixus.
Top resolution of this camera is 2.1 Mega Pixels. It has a very fast 2x zoom with good battery life. It's the smallest digital camera currently on the market which is why I like it.
A few minor niggles - the battery is a lithium ion Canon proprietory, which means if you run out of juice away from a mains plug it's useless. A spare battery is a must. Also it doesn't come with a case so this is something to think about. They do a metal case that is very small and shiny ooooohh!
Unlike the other Canon Powershots the Ixus does not come with a mains power supply either. This you have to buy as an extra (about £50) which was a disappointment for me....

Canon Ixus 60
Review of Canon Digital IXUS 60 by
StevenTreadway
Advantages: Great little camera, good value, better than a Casio!
Disadvantages: Can't think of any!
...Excellent Camera, great quality and portability. Takes great pictures easily with its controls easy to navigate. Its battery packs hold's a great charge and only takes about an hour to re-charge.
Originally thought to purchase a Casio Exilim but glad i chose canon. The lens quality is supurb, and photo quality remains great even when moving. Digital zoom quality is good and the optical zoom is also very good. Its size is also a bonus as can easily fit inside a pocket while being big enough to use easily with the buttons large enough and the lcd bright and clear. Also having a view-finder is good when battery is low or for users who still prefer to use one instead of the lcd screen. Overall excellent camera can't recomend more highly....

Great all rounder
Review of Canon DIGITAL IXUS 900 TI by
tommykoh
Advantages: Small, powerful, versatile
Disadvantages: Not much!
...This is now the second Canon IXUS digital camera I have now owned, and I cannot recommend this range of cameras enough! The first one was the 4.0megapixel IXUS purchased 3 and half years ago, and I have never had any reliability problems with it. I expect this model to be no different.
In keeping with the character of the IXUS range, the IXUS 900 TI is a great all round camera. It offers up to date and powerful zoom and picture quality features, and has all the other standard settings you would expect of a digital camera. I must admit that I am not the greatest photographer around, and one of the qualities of the Canon is that I almost feel the camera does much of the work for me in turning out great photos!
If you are an experienced and dedicated photographer who requires very high specs and certain features, you would...

IXUS 75 Superb Compact!
Review of Canon Digital IXUS 75 by
Craiglf
Advantages: Quality Shots, Build Quality, Ease of use.
Disadvantages: None.
...The Canon Digital IXUS 75 is a 7.1 megapixel pocket sized digital camera, as soon as i recieved this camera i was very impressed with the build quality, it feels very solid to handle and looks like an expensive camera. The 3inch LCD screen is superb although there is no viewfinder this is not a problem for most people. Battery life is excellent, i have taken 200-250 shots on a 1hr charge. There is a fully automatic mode, good for people who want to just point and click and it works very well indeed and there are several manual options for more adventurous photographers out there, one very cool feature is the portrait mode which softens skin tones giving you nice portrait snaps, the camera has red eye correction so that you can fix red eye but only in playback mode, still a nice function though, overall i would say that this one...
