The automatism of aperture priority is maintained. Just select the aperture manually and the camera will automatically choose the shutter speed for the correct exposure. Note: There are two types of rings in 42mm: M42 and T2. Both have the same diameter but a different thread (1mm on the M42 and 0.75 mm on T2)
