...I reserve applying mascara mostly for special occasions as I just don't have the patience to apply the mascara and comb the lashes after putting my contact lens on. When my usual brand Maybelline got over, I got this for the simple reason that I could'nt find Maybelline in the store and my husband was getting impatient .So I just grabbed Clinique High Definition and hurried out without giving it much thought. Even though I bought it without deliberation,I was pleasantly surprised by the product's effect. I am blessed with naturally thick long lashes. Advantages: Compact. Good zoom. Good image quality Budget price.
Disadvantages: No separate battery charger supplied. Lots of PC disc space needed for film editing.

Its' compact size and light weight means this camcorder can be carried around easily. The optical zoom (36X) is more than enough for 'normal' use and most of the time I choose to keep the digital zoom (up to 2000X) turned off so that I do not accidentally stray into this 'zone' as I find that picture quality is better when just optical zoom functions are used. For high-level zooming a tripod would come in useful as images can be very shaky unless you have a super steady hand. ...The picture quality is definitely commendable on this camera, except when using the photograph function - this is however a problem with many videocameras. Canon have concentrated on the lens and semi-professional, to professional functions on this camera and have not cluttered it with effects. It has many handy functions such as Zebra (which you can adjust the sensitivity on) which allows you to set your exposure to the right levels, preventing brilliant white. It also has all of your standard functions such as white balance (Manual and Auto), Exposure (Manual and Auto), 4:3/16:9 Aspect Ratios and seperate volume controls for the left and right audio channels. The battery life is pretty good on these, I have managed to use mine for 2/3 hours at a time with the LCD panel open. The only let down with this camera is the sound quality...
