Canon Laser Shot LBP 2900

Advantages: Cheap, Reliable and produces high quality prints
Disadvantages: The odd paper jam

...Whilst talking to a friend a few months back, I mentioned I needed to buy a new printer as my old one had ceased working. My friend recommended the Canon Laser Shot LBP 2900 Printer, As that is what he had been using and said it was reasonably cheap to buy and did a good job. So the next day I went onto Amazon, Paid my £54.50 and waited for it to arrive. Upon its arrival, I promptly went about setting it up, Now I was impressed it was small and compact and looked stylish with its monochrome finish. For £54.50 for a reliable laser printer I thought great and thanked my friend for his recommendation. However, There was one minor problem, Now and then the paper gets jammed, This has happened with every printer I have ever used at sometime though, So I don't really see it as a big deal. ZAP! - Canon's LBP 1120

Advantages: Prints whole sheets in just seconds. Looks very modern and sleek. Little noise.
Disadvantages: None whatsoever.

Having only bought two printers prior to getting the Canon LBP 1120 I wasn't entirely sure where to start, to combat my uncertainty I decided to shop around, seeking the finest price possible. In the end my search brought me back to my usual shop for components, www.ebuyer.com. After around ten minutes browsing their printer section I came across the LBP 1120 Laser printer. Canon in general have always served me well, being one of the only firms to charge a fair price for ink cartridges, my first printer, an Epson I found I had to shell out 20 quid just for a cartridge! Good Hardware, Bad Software

...If you take a look at Canon LBP2900 you will see that this printer mimic HP LaserJet 1020 and HP LaserJet 1022, not only in the design but it take the SAME cartridge (Q2612A or 12A for short)....The seller tell me that and I saw that with my eyes The top cover should have a sensor to tell you that the cover is closed so if you forget to open it the papers will not accumulate under the cover.. And if we compare it to HP LaserJet 1022 you will find that LBP2900 have no tray cover which prevent the papers from dusts (Canon LBP3000 have a tray cover). LBP2900 produce good quality prints but this printer is an example for the product that you hate because of its software... If you have a 64-bit system (like Vista64 or XP x64) or you are using Mac OS X then don't buy it, because there is no drivers for these systems, also there is...

Great for the money and size.

Advantages: Colour, compact compared to other laser and fits on desktop, laser.
Disadvantages: Still quite large compared to an ink jet.

...I bought one of these babies because I hate inkjets and love laser. This was the only one I could really afford which was small enough to fit on my desktop and had colour. Laser printers are better than inkjets because they give a crisp and professional look to word documents and spreadsheets. Even with a fine quality inject it still looks home-made unless it is on hideously expensive paper. Therefore the LBP 5000 it makes my assignments look great. Canon Powershot SX200 IS

Advantages: Lots of zoom, lots of pixels, sturdy
Disadvantages: No internal memory, flash pops up whether you want it to or not

.... It's not as small as some compacts but if you manage to get hold of a Canon case then you can fit the camera, spare battery and a couple of cards inside it quite easily. It is 10cm wide, 6 1/2 cm high and 3cm deep (excluding zoom), and has a metal body which feels quite sturdy. It sort of curves outward on one side so you can get a decent grip and hold the camera steady. On the top of the camera body there is the on/off switch, dial with all the different modes (auto mode, easy mode, portrait, landscape, night snapshot, kids and pets, indoor, sunset, video, manual mode, aperture priority, shutter priority and program mode), and the shutter release button which also controls the zoom. Review of Canon PowerShot SX200 IS

Canon by name, average by nature!

Advantages: Good face detection, very robust and a good looker.
Disadvantages: Motion Detection Technology not all it is cracked up to be and other small niggles!

...I recently recieved a Canon PowerShot SX10 for my birthday, i am very pleased with the quality of this camera. The pictures that it takes are of wonderful quality and you don't have to wait on the delay like alot of those cameras out there. Ever since i recieved the camera i have started selling my pictures, and have actually been making money for pictures that i take when i'm bored simply because the quality of the pictures are so good. This camera is very sleek and stylish and fits in your hands like a camera should. It is very comfortable to use and i is also very lightweight and portable making it easy to move around with and not get tired of holding in your hands. This camera is extremely worth the money and i would definately say that if you are in the market for a new camera then this is the one for you....

...a budget printer and the S800 runs in at £300. The paper feeds in through the rear and before you can say ‘Wow that was quick and such good quality’ the printed page appears. It has standard USB parallel connections and the paper feeder will hold about 100 pages. Setting up the printer is about as easy as it could be. The instructions are all perfectly clear and within minutes its ready to use. Once set up it also ease to use in day-to-day use . It is also as Bjork might say 'Oh So Quiet' in comparison with the cacophany of noise the old HP made. The Canon scores though in providing the best quality inkjet quality I have ever seen. It is practically at laser standard but without the exhorbitant cost. It is also good because the running costs of the Canon are reasonable too.
