Thoughts on Canon Pixma MP110
Review of Canon PIXMA MP110 by
itfcforever
Advantages: Cheap ink cartridges, good quality printing and photographs
Disadvantages: Ugly appearance, user guides for software on CD not in paper format
...for a special photographic print head as had been used with some other Canon printers.
All in all, if you do not mind the rather ugly appearance of the Canon Pixma MP110, for the price it is an excellent all-in-one printer for the home or small office. It uses some of the cheapest ink cartridges around and prints good quality documents and photographs. The scanning and copier functions are quick and simple to use. The Canon MP110 is a very practical, cost effective and functional all-in-one, albeit a bit of an ugly duckling....

Canon Mp180
Review of Canon Pixma MP180 by
Simbaspaws
Advantages: Brilliant printing and scanning!!
Disadvantages: None!
...This printer is excellent. It can be used with your computer or laptop and also works as a stand alone printer. The Printer also works with memory cards, from your camera or mobile phone. There is a selection of buttons on the front of the printer. Two of them are so you can use the printer on its own; you can scan a document or photo and print it straight off- in either black and white or colour by simply pressing one of these buttons. It also has menu buttons so you can change some of the settings. You can use glossy paper or normal and the print is perfect. The whole thing is very easy to set up and cartridges are easy to install. Make sure you buy an extra USB cable as you may need one- The one I bought was from Argos and it didn't come with one. I use compatible cartridges which work fine- but you can buy the Canon ones for around...

Printer suited for students!!
Review of Canon PIXMA IP1500 by
ilocboy
Advantages: Small, Easy to move around!
Disadvantages: Slow printer if you print a lot!
...The Canon Pixma was the first printer I ever bought. I used it to print my school projects and mainly my report papers. It works great but not as fast as laser printers. Sometimes after you're done printing you have to wait a couple of seconds for the ink to dry out.
The printer uses a standard canon ink cartridge, it's very small so you have to constantly change it every so often if you are always using it.
I highly recommend a Laser printer if you need to print many documents and a laser printer is well suited in a fast-paced, working environment.
But if you're just a student like I am you can use the Pixma IP1500,
It does the job well.
ALSO the Canon Pixma is also good for printing coloured photos, and envelopes, ETC.
The Canon Pixma also comes with a printing software and photo editor. However you may have to purchase ADOBE...

Pixma Quickma Super-pics-ma!
Review of Canon Pixma MP520 by
the-genie
Advantages: Looks good, excellent spec for the price, 4 ink cartridges, good scanner
Disadvantages: Noisy scanner, long time to install software,
...I have had my new Canon Pixma MP520 about 3 weeks now and have used most of the facilities on it so feel able to do some kind of review of it. I did a lot of research before buying this printer and so far it has lived up to the expectations that I have of it.
The Basics
*The Canon Pixma MP520 is a printer / scanner / copier all-in-one.
*It has 4 ink cartridges - Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow - so if one colour runs out you only need to replace THAT colour - not like some printers where you have to replace the whole 'tricolor' cartridge.
*Dimensions are 445 x 378 x 172mm. It is not small - but NEAT - things store away nicely. I have it in my living room and it doesn't look out of place once all the 'flaps' are put away.
*There is a small crystal clear 5.0cm TFT screen which makes computer-free operation easy. Simply spin...

Canon Pixma MP600 Printer
Review of Canon PIXMA MP 600 by
Tiny236
Advantages: Very Multifunctional
Disadvantages: Cost of replacement cartridges
...The Pixma MP600 is a very versatile printer: It really is a multi purpose printer, giving you plenty of useful functions.
The Operation Panel, which is found at the front of the printer and has a small 6.3cm TFT screen, enables you to quickly see what task you want to tackle and has an easy - scroll wheel which takes you from one action to the next ie. scan, print, maintenance etc. It opens with a home screen and as you turn the wheel, moves you into the next mode. Select Memory Card and the mode screen appears. When selecting the mode and pressing the function button, the instructions for the selected mode are displayed.
Copying: Load the page you wish to copy, select copy on the home screen (make sure the paper is loaded) - you can specify the page size, media type and any other settings you need to set up...

great performer
Review of Canon Pixma iP4200 by
benedictine
Advantages: individual ink tanks
Disadvantages: none
...This Canon Pixma iP4200 is the best printer I have ever owned, I have had Lexmark, HP and Epson printers in the past and been disappointed with them all for various reasons, when my last printer died, I went for this one, partly because of good reviews and partly for a new brand.
The iP4200's silver plastic case feels solid and looks less boxy than other recent Canon models.
Canon PIXMA iP4200 printer - Features
The Canon PIXMA iP4200 is an advanced machine with impressive performance for small price, the Canon PIXMA iP4200 photo printer is priced at a level that will not break the bank. The iP4200 printer prints upto 9600 x 2400 dpi color resolution. Replacing the popular iP3000 and iP4000 models, the iP4200 model produces borderless photo lab quality 4x6-inch photos in approximately 60 seconds. The printer uses five individual...

Best printer i've had yet!
Review of Canon PIXMA IP2000 by
kate553
Advantages: Fast, quiet and great results
Disadvantages: None
...I deliberated long and hard over which printer to buy as the cost of the replacement cartridges is such a major factor.
i didn't need a fancy printer, just one that could print out family snapshots and cope with the demands of two young children wanting to print out every piece of art work they do!!
The Canon Pixma IP2000 meets all our needs and gives great quality too. It comes with a sample pack of photo paper which I used and the picture quality was second to none.
The printer is extremely quiet so does not wake the whole house if you feel the need to print in the middle of the night!!
A useful feature of the printer is that the front feed tray folds up and encloses the printer, there by protecting the inside from dust, and it is compact and very smart looking!
Thoroughly recommend it!...

An amature photographers dream machine
Review of Canon PIXMA MP750/Multi-function Printer by
ian-steel2005
Advantages: Excellent Colour Printing, Superb range of features, Cheap to run, Excellent value for Money
Disadvantages: Takes up a bit of room, large size of border when deplux printing
...Being an amature photographer, I decided to purchase the Canon PIXMA MP750/Multi-function Printer, so that I can print of photos from my digital camera. Since I have I can honestly say that it has changed my life without a shadow of doubt.
The photo quality is excellent, and is made simple by the software that comes with the printer. Simply load in the paper, select the photos you want to print, and how many of each that you want, select the paper you are about to print on and I under 50 seconds later you get a 5x7 professional quality photo.
Having printed out about 100 photos in the last 2 weeks, the ink cartridge indicators have bearly moved from full, which makes it the most economical printer I have used for my photographs.
The function to print onto CD's is novel but works well with the full sized CD labels (may need to get...
