...I use the printer at work for various projects and it is superb. The color quality is excellent. It prints pictures and photos better than any printer I have used. The printing speed is fast and high quality. The printer is easy to use and easy to order supplies for. It is very reliable, I hardly have any paper jams with it and when I do it is very easily fixed. In the past I have used printers where when the toner runs out it is difficult to replace or order the correct replacement but not with this printer. Replacing items is extremely easy. This printer is a great value for the money considering the toners etc are not expensive as with a lot of other photo printers etc. I would recommend this printer to anyone....

Canon Pixma MP190 Good value, decent Printer

Advantages: Very good price, good print quality
Disadvantages: Does not come with USB cable to connect to computer.

...I have just bought and finished installing this printer, so I have decided to share my views on it. I bought it at the local Tesco Extra, after some research I found that they offered it at the lowest price, at £30. I also got 10% as they only had the display one left in store. However, as I bought it in store I did not get free delivery and had to carry it the 2 miles home, something I wont recommend if your arms get tired easily. It comes in a large box, and is well packaged so it does not rattle about in the box. You are provided with the Pixma MP190 printer, 2 ink cartridges (one black and one colour), setup CD-ROM, Printed documents and a power cord. You will need to buy a separate USB cable to connect the printer to your laptop or PC, something I found out to my annoyance after carrying it all the way home and excited to get...

...This is the best printer that you can get for less than £200. The quality of the prints are very good, and the pictures that it produces are suprisingly good. I must admit that I didn't expect this printer to be the best purchase when I bought it. The slightly complicated process of connecting it to my PC was not encouraging either. However once everything is set up, I was amazed. One of the best things about this printer is the versitility it provides. I have printed pictures wirelessly from my phone, and it was as easy as connecting my camera via the USB cable. The scanner is ver good as well. It does its job quickly and efficiently. As long as your desk provides the space for this printer, it really is a good buy and at a very reasonable price. Excellent Printer From Canon

My new printer, like my old one, would be printing black only 99% of the time but occasionally I like to print a photo out and so it needed to be good in this area also. ...ugly in an industrial way but that was a popular style a few years back. It produced pretty good document and photo prints and the scanner was adequate for documents but not of a standard to copy photos. When coming to choose a new printer these were the characteristics I was interested in. It had to print to a high standard, the scanner needed to be better and I didn't want it to look like an ugly lump of corporate kit with attachments falling off all the time. Despite painfully setting up the fax functionality first time round I have never received or sent a fax using the HP, in fact I don't think I've faxed anything this century so that functionality was dispensable. Canon or a Brother ?

...This review is for the Canon Pixma IP4700. Setup --------- This printer comes inside a box which is heavily packaged and first off all you get the power cable. The cable is wrapped with this tie back but the problem is that when you unwind the cable you notice how it wants to try and curl back up again so you do need to try and straighten it out as soon as you can. You receive the disc which has the drivers on which you need to install on the computer otherwise you have no way of printing items off without it. There is nothing else inside the box besides the cartridges which are easy to insert and use. The disc is good because it is so simple to install the items onto the computer and this takes about a minute to do. You do not get a connection to the computer though so you do need to purchase one yourself and many websites...

  Canon Pixma mp 460 - Fantastic all in one
