Review of Canon BJC S500 by
jimbuck
Advantages: Reasonably fast and great print quality.
Disadvantages: Cost of ink refills.
...between the Canon S520 and the S500 is the speed of printing and the price - £179.99 against £129.99. However I did find out that it was just a bit more than that. But it was no contest really as speed of printing isn’t high on my list of priorities in a printer. I’m happy to wait a few extra seconds for a page or two to print out especially as it saved me fifty quid.
The printer came securely packed in the usual Canon red box, with a manual and installation CD but no interface lead from printer to tower so it meant buying one at £12.99.
The printer footprint is only about 43 cms wide by 29 cms deep and stands some 18 cms tall, but it does require a larger space of 60 cms deep due to the paper feed and output trays. It has a mid grey plastic body that feels sturdy yet quite light (5kg) and the cover to gain access to the print...

Sony Ericsson S500i
Review of Sony Ericsson S500i by
grdnblak
Advantages: Sleek, lightweight, large high resolution screen
Disadvantages: Needs regular wiping to remove finger marks
...Lovin' it!
Had few problems when first got phone but this was due to network faults rather than phone.
S500i will defiantly turn heads. It is equipped with many features for the mobile phone user who is always on the go & wanting to stay in contact with friends, family & work colleagues.
The overall design & style of the phone I believe is inspired by nature which includes the colour of the handset, the internal patterns & materials used to create a smooth desirable handset. S500i comes with a smooth slide opening mechanism which when opened reveals the sleek keypad & natural design of phone. The phone comes with hidden light effects which brings the S500i alive when an incoming call comes in.
Has a large & clear screen which displays up to 262k colours on a 240 x 320 pixels resolution screen. The screen can be viewed when the S...

Review of Samsung SGH S500 by
rosebud10
Advantages: small, and easy to use.
Disadvantages: no mp3 ringtones.
...This is a review on the S500i. This is the O2 version.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What does the, i, stand for?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is an o2 only feature. It is called imode. This is basicly the internet on your phone. It is quite handy. It provides you with your own email address, That you can be retrived from your phone where ever you want to be.
You can get info on, sports, weather, news, travel, and much more.
You can't visit all websites. and sadly ciao is one of the ones you can't recieve.
~~~~~~~~~
FEATURES
~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Outside screen
~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a nice feature. It is a 260k colour screen. You can see who is ringing you, and who is texting. You can even have a picture on the outside. Or you could just have a clock.
It is a nice size, 2cms by 3cms. It sounds quite small, but it is big...

Samsung SGH - S500i
Review of Samsung SGH S500i by
smileyfem1974
Advantages: Built in i-mode internet on the go just got better
Disadvantages: mp3 tracks cannot be used as ringtones and if ringtone set - user id picture is removed
...I had previously own the Samsung E720 and loved it - so when i heard that a similar yet better version had been produced i was really excited.
As my previous phone had been pay and go - i decided to go for a contact which enabled me to get the Samsung S500i the week it became available on contract.
Initially i was impressed the handset is sleek, modern and lightweight. The i-mode gave me quicker and faster access to the internet whilst on the move. Being an avid ebay user i was bowled over by the fact that i could bid through i-mode on my handset. The battery seems to last longer than with the E720 both on standby and talk time. The reception and sound quality are very good too.
But then i discovered some flaws......
Flash - when looking at the phone there are two bulb cases on either side of the flash, just as there had...

Sony Ericsson S500i is not worth it :P
Review of Sony Ericsson S500i by
Julia95x
Advantages: See Review
Disadvantages: See Review
...after about three weeks two of the keys had cracked. The crack was quite literally right in the middle of the keys. When the keys on the phone cracked, I looked on the internet to see if anyone else had had the same problem. I found that there were lots of people whose keys had cracked. I don't text a lot, I normally just phone so I was surprised to see that the keys had cracked. You can still use the keys when they've cracked but it didn't make the fact the keys had split any better.
The phone measures 99 x 47 x 14 mm and weighs 94g.
Overall I think that just because of the poor quality of the phone, the Sony Ericsson S500i is not worth it....

Mercedes S500
Review of Mercedes S500 by
PaulFinch
Advantages: A car to judge all others...
Disadvantages: 25mpg (though the benifits do out way this)
...I purchased this magnificent car about 4 months ago. You hear the likes of Jeremy Clarkson say...
"if you want to know whats going to be fitted in cars in the next 10 years, well look in an S class."
I actually have the S500 Limo Petrol model, that 5.0 litre V8 engine is more than enough to get this sizable car accellarating in an instant. This car brings new meaning the the words "spacious" and "luxurious".
All seats are electricly movable (even the back seats) which boast heating and air conditioning inside which is very very nice on those hot days. Enless other gadgets such as electric blinds, fridge, TV/DVD, car phone, voice recognition, distronic and triptronics make this car the ultimate vehicle which all others are judged by.
Concidering buying one ? Take me word for it, it will be the best purchase you have...
