Rub a dub dub! M&P Acqua Ergo Bath

Advantages: Safer than other baths.
Disadvantages: Can be restrictive.

...This review is for another item in the range - the Acqua Ergo bath. I wasn?t sure what method of bathing to opt for for my baby?in the main bath with a supporting seat/float?, or a separate baby bath? I quickly figured I would be best to buy a separate baby bath, as this would require the use of a smaller amount of water & could be positioned in baby?s nursery or wherever was easiest. OK, so that narrowed it down a bit. But then did I want an inflatable or folding bath which would store easily & be handy to take away, or one that positioned across the bath to give a bit of height, or one that went on a stand?? As usual, with all things baby, the choice was endless? I finally decided on the Mamas & Papas Acqua Ergo bath, which is shaped to provide two integral support positions for both newborns and sitting babies. Described...

Ergo, Ergo, Ergo

Advantages: Ergo
Disadvantages: Thus

...Ergo is my new favourite word and when I’m around it comes up in conversation a fair bit. My latest challenge thought is that they’re not “proper” ops ergo when I do one it’ll usually be on the same day as another of mine, so as not to waste a day of writing possibilities. Ergo, though I’ve already done one op today, I’m posting this now too. Now Ergo doesn’t begin with T, but I’ve already used up my E category, so it’s here for Thus. Thus isn’t as nice a word though, ergo I’m still using my ergo references. You still with me? 1. What’s on your duvet cover? At the moment a dodgy flowery pattern. It’s an old quilt cover I brought to use here and chuck rather than bring home when I move back to England. My normal UK ones are blue and sort...

Cogito ergo sum

Advantages: A noble quest
Disadvantages: Flawed arguments

...doubt. From here the doubt begins. His first doubt is the evidence he uses from his senses, because in the past they have decieved him, he can never be sure whether he is waking or sleeping and there may be an evil deciever, of God like proportions, who makes all his thoughts incorrect. In the second meditation he reaches his first certainty, that he exists. The Cogito more commonly "Cogito ergo sum" roughly translated to "I am thinking therefore I am", however there are many flaws in this, but these are of little importance to the average reader. He also goes on to say he does not truly know what he is, although he is more sure of mind than body. In meditation three he proves, to himself, though again the argument is highly flawed, that God exists, merely because Descartes has an idea of God. And where could the idea of God have come...

really worth the money

Advantages: No frame, so less bulky, looks better, baby feels really close to you
Disadvantages: The black cotton one did pick up lots of fluff, so looked messy, I exchanged for a denim one

...I brought the Ergo after my 7 month old got too heavy for the Baby Bjorn carrier we had. I love this as it doesnt have a frame and I didnt want anything too bulky. You can put it in your shopping bag and use it when your little one gets tired of walking as its not very big and its light to carry. When you have them in the front its like having a hug, when you weaar it on your back its like a piggy back ride. It it designed so it doesnt hurt your back and I have never had any problems. I wish I had just got this one first as you can also use it for newborns so you dont have to buy two. They look really cool and I have had loads of comments on it. Its easy to adjust and put on, the only thing you have to practise is getting the baby in on your back on your own, its a bit tricky at first as you feel you may drop them, but I used it on my...

Compelling Anime

Advantages: Good storyline, deep and thought-provoking, everything!
Disadvantages: Not Much!

...Synopsis - setting the scene... ----------------------------------------- Ergo Proxy (or for those hardcore anime-fans, エルゴプラクシー) is based in a fictional futuristic city named Romdo, which is a supposed utopia, built by its citizens after a universal ecological disaster. In this 'bubble', humans and androids (called AutoReivs, or AutoRaves) live together in harmony under a totalitarian management. The AutoReivs live to serve their purpose of being servants and assistants to Romdo's citizens. Citizens use them as replacements for children and even as lovers. Problems start to arise as there are a string of murders having been committed by robots infected with the Cogito virus, and begins to disrupt the balance of the society. In the backstages of the government, secret experiments...

Don't leave home without it!

Advantages: Comfortable and easy to use; ideal from 4 months to 4 years
Disadvantages: May not fit if you're very slim

...Having a fussy baby I have a wide variety of carriers; this was and remains a firm favourite. Practicalities: It is easy to use on front or back (and apparently also as a hip carrier, but I have not tried this), very comfortable for both parent and child and has its own range of useful accessories, including a daypack which clips onto the carrier itself and a smaller pack which fits handily onto the waistband. The pocket on the back is just big enough for essentials and has a zip for access from the side without having to take the carrier off. When not in use the Ergo can be folded down to a small bundle (about 35cm x 20cm x 10cm) and popped in a bag - some sellers include a specially made tote for this purpose. Fabric: The Ergo comes in a number of different colourways with contrasting (or matching if you prefer) lining...

Who can resist a curvy body?

Advantages: Funky design, control function keys, easy to type faster
Disadvantages: Didn't work for me on windows 98,needs more space than a box shaped keyboard

...When it comes to keyboards I usually just think of them as a necessity. Nothing, fancy, not particuarly stylish; in fact I feel keyboards can be quite dull. But the crafty people who made the Belkin ErgoBoard have changed that dull, unappealing look and have gone with a slightly curvier design. But does it work? *** A little About the ElgoBoard *** With it's strange name and strange design, the Belkin ElgoBoard is designed especially for people who are frequently on a computer and it is by far one of the best split key design and safest keyboards around. It is a USB keyboard and requires no drivers in order for it to work making it quick and easy to install. *** It's Functions *** What impresses me is that the keyboard has two USB hubs built in at the back of it. This allows you to plug in other components such as a mouse...

set yourself free from the desk

Advantages: wireless, recharging system built iin, looks good, hardwearing
Disadvantages: none

...with the charged set from the receiver you just pop the flat ones back in the receiver. It takes several days of heavy use of the mouse to use up the charge but it only takes a few hours to recharge them so it?s a good position to be in. The keyboard batteries will last weeks without needing a charge. A4 include 6 AA rechargeable batteries in the box The keyboard: ------------------- A4 have moved away from the traditional keyboard slightly. They haven?t changed the QWERTY layout just the key direction. A4 call this the Ergo A-frame. This slight change is hardly visible to the eye but it changes the position in which you type. The centre keys are slightly curved inwards, matching the way your fingers move so your wrist .elbow and shoulder position is more natural. It?s easier to see than to explain, so have a look if you like http://www.a4tech...
