As far as I am concerned what I look for is a good atmosphere, a good menu selection, good value for money, friendly and helpful staff, but mainly it needs to be a restaurant that I want to visit again, and again. This is certainly the case with Verdes Ristorante and Pizzeria which has been a popular family run restaurant in Lancaster for many years. The restaurant is situated in the centre of town in Church Street, it's open seven days a week from 11.30am to 10.30pm for meals or just a tea or coffee. Hotel Monte Verde

Advantages: Very Clean
Disadvantages: Awful Food, Noisy, Far way from Palma Airport

...In October 2006 I went on an all-inclusive holiday for one week to Porto Cristo on the east coast of Majorca (Mallorca). I stayed in a hotel called the Monte Verde. It cost me £169 and I will now share my experiences of this hotel with you. The Monte Verde Hotel was built in 1969 and was fully refurbished during the winter of 2000. The Monte Verde has a total of 140 rooms that are built over 7 floors. When I pulled up to The Monte Verde I was not very impressed with the look of the hotel, it looked like a block of flats and was similar to some of the housing around Porto Cristo, which looked a bit basic and old fashioned. However The Monte Verde is only a 2 star hotel so I was not expecting too much. The Cape of great hotel!

Advantages: Great location
Disadvantages: Not that family friendly

...The Radisson SAS Waterfront was a great hotel situated on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, with views of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Robben Island and Table Mountain. The hotel was just on the edge of the town centre. Most hotels are located around the Victoria and Alfred waterfront complex and, as such, have particularly steep prices. The Radisson was walking distance to the V&A waterfront but did not suffer from extortionate prices (our room came in at about £70 a night). It had a sizeable car park and was well situated for driving down the coast of Cape Town. At the time of booking, we were not offered a choice on rooms so ended up with a basic room only. This was fine but we missed out on views of the harbour that could be seen from rooms at the back of the hotel. The room was spacious (approx 36 sq meters) with a king size...

Advantages: Beautiful veiws and gorgeous weather! Very cheap with exchange rate!

Cape Town, the place to be

Advantages: Great Scenery, Value for money, Pristine beaches

...Cape town is an aersome place. i love it so much and would highly recommend anyone visit it. From pristine wite beaches, the awesome mountan and the V&A waterfront, this is the place to be! It is also very cheap whe nyou are coming over from the united states or europe bercause of the exchange rate. a beer costs around $1 - $1.50. Cape town is relatively safe compared to most south africa ncities, especially johannesburg, mostly due to the huge tourist industry. cape town is pretty small and easy to travel around. there is no trains or decent bus service, but you can hire a car for really cheap, and the are tour buses in the city. i highly recommend going there www.explorecapetown.co.za...

...Ooh.. what a lovely place. I was in Cape Town for the Millennium celebrations, and I had also been there four years before. It was an unforgettable experience. The hotel organised a huge banquet with special plates that say the Vineyard 1999-2000. We were allowed to take these home, as well as the specially embroidered serviettes. The people were lovely there, always saying nice things and complimenting you. The hotel was stunning - we got to stay in the Mountain View suite, and the views were breathtaking. To do, there was a big selection. We went in to town a few times, and there was lots to do there. Shopping, and all very cheap! Another day we visited the beaches and went for a swim and there are many more activities to take part in, but I admit it could get a little boring. Having never even heard about this park, and already purchasing a multipass I figured I might as well check this place out. He father who's a writer and marine biologist told her she was swallowed by a blue whale which was on the run from a ship called the Buccaneer. Nim and her father Jack live on an island they discovered after sailing around the world for several years. They are the only inhabitants, unless you count a collection of animals which Nim has befriended, included a sealion, a bearded dragon and a pelican. Beautiful Cape Town

Advantages: The most beautiful city in the world, the view of Table mountain from the ocean
Disadvantages: The rumor says that there is a lot of crime

...the waterfront area. The fast boat takes you out to the island in 10-15 minutes and on the way out they show some information about Robben Island on the TVs on board. The trip to the island cost 100 Rand per person but it includes a walk around the prison with a guide and a bus tour around the island (with a guide). Our guide in the prison was a former political prisoner at Robben Island and that gave the guide another dimension. I think we went out there at noon and came back at 3 pm. The Cape point Take a drive to the Cape point. It is a great drive out there and when you get to the point you can take a ?trolly? up to the lighthouse. Even if this isn?t the most southern point of Africa you still get the feeling of being on the tip of Africa. Don?t forget to take a wind breaker or jersey with you ? it can get pretty windy down there...
