I find if you eat a lot of take always in your car, which is very much what I do, then you will have a much dirtier and smellier interior than others. The best air freshener I have found so far would the old time classic of the Magic Tree Air Freshener. The particular Air Freshener has been around for a long time and comes in many different colours and fragrances. The most common you will find is Alpine Fresh and this gives a good clean outside in smell of trees and woodland. It is a very nice smell and is really very strong. Advantages: Almost Excellent airline to fly with.
Disadvantages: £4 booking fee if not using a Visa Electron card.

Pongy car? Then don't use this!!!

Advantages: Well, I did get it free. I guess that this is an advantage!!!
Disadvantages: Little smell. Ineffective. Slightly pricey for what it is.

...I am not normally into gimmicks or anything car related, however we are due to shortly sell the car, and as a result I thought that I better give the thing a well needed wash before getting it valued. When in Tesco I noticed that they were doing a special offer on their own brand car products, 3 for the price of 2. I only wanted washing stuff and polish, so for my bonus item I chose the Tesco own brand air freshener. This particular product costs £2.99 on its own, which I personally find a little bit steep for what it is, although as a freebie as part of an offer, its better than a slap in the face with a wet fish!!! It is obviously as an own brand only available in Tesco stores, but in some of the massive modern stores can be slightly tricky to locate. If your car smells of brie, you need a new tree

Advantages: nice fir tree shape, cheap, masks unpleasant odours
Disadvantages: distracting where it dangles, can make your fingers smell if you accidentally touch it, masks unpleasant odours

...Macdonald's cartons amongst other things. If you follow the instructions properly, your car will actually smell quite nice for seven weeks. If you just rip off the wrapper, you deserve all you get. That's all I'm saying. I would recommend it, I think £2 for seven weeks of peppermint (the best one IMHO, although not so easy to get hold of as Spice which is disgusting) is worthwhile. Advantages: clean, comfortable, good service
Disadvantages: No direct flights out to Asia

...I have flown repeatedly with Gulf Air out to various places in Asia from India to South East Asia and the far east. These have always required a stop-off in the gulf area of the Middle East, almost always Bahrain which is the airlines hub. The airline has connections from London, Paris and Frankfurt out to Bahrain and from there there are plenty of connections out to Asia and to various places around the Middle East and Islamic countries such as Sudan and Iran. Thus it isn't the best connected airline for those trying to connect from Western Europe as it will almost always require a change over unless Bahrain is the final destination. ...Being a smoker my car can sometimes exude a bit of a whiff, especially after a longish journey. So whats the remedy then. No not stop smoking although you have a point. A forest in my Car!

Advantages: smells god, lasts long

...you slide it out of its wrapper a bit further. Its easily hung from my indicator arm and goes unnoticed swinging about. I did try it hanging from the interior mirror but founf it only blocked my view more than othe airfresheners i have had before. this is mainly as you keep it in the wrapper so it seems quiet big. the smell of alpine fresh is really quite fresh and woody. im not too sure how to describe it apart from manly frshness. i would tell anyone to use these car airfresheners because they work really well. They make me car smell great and last forever! they are cheap really compared to some of the other more hi-tech air fresheners but works equally as well....
