...to close the lock off clip with your left hand, all this whilst kneeling on the car seat to add weight whilst fitting it - very tricky! Also, unlike some other car seats, if you change the seat angle you have to re-tighten the seat belt and re-fit the red lock off clip to ensure the seat belt is tight. The covers can all be removed very easily and are machine washable which is a godsend. To summarise the car seat is attractive to look at, very comfortable, covers are easy to remove and wash but is very fiddly to fit. Advantages: Light, Quick & Easy to setup and cheap
Disadvantages: As it turns into a booster seat when a child is older, the main back of the seat comes off when carrying sometimes, but this is easy fixed.

...of different cars eg parents etc it was so handy and light, and safe at the same time. I would definately recommend this car seat, even as a second seat to use when not in your own car. When my little girl gets bigger, I can detach the main back of the seat and use the booster seat which will still have the cup holders! It also comes in two different colours, black and blue, for all you men out there who want it to coordinate with your car seat covers! It is also very easy to clean as you just have to pull off the covers and put them in the washing machine, which is useful if your child spills milk, etc! Definately a great buy. Advantages: Matches travel systems
Disadvantages: Heavy, extremely difficult to move handle, straps and get in and out of the car.

...underneath the cover which is really difficult to find and press especially when the seat is already in the car. The handle to carry the car seat and which has to be moved forward to secure the seat in the car is one of the biggest problems with the seat. There are buttons on either side which have to be pressed in simultanously to move the handle. These are really difficult to press and hold and you need more than one pair of hands to press both buttons in then push the bar forwards or backwards. Trying to do this alone especially when the seat is already in the car is close to impossible and simply infuritaing. We also bought a sure fix base to make it easier to get the seat in and out of the car. ...never had to remove the cover to wash as i have wiped the car seat when any accidents have occured and after 2 years it still looks brand new. My son has never been able to undo the clip. My mother however does sometimes struggle with fastening the clip as it is a tad on the stiff side. The clips on the side to put the straps in when you have taken your child out of the seat are ingenious and an excellent invention. It saves you sitting your child in the seat on top of the straps and having to fish them out from underneath the child making it difficult for you and uncomfortable for your child - excellent addition to the seat. This car seat is easy to fit and to remove from the car and we have sucessfully used it in a number of cars including citroen xsara, renault megane scenic, seat ibiza and vauxhall vectra. ...requirement on car seats for 9 months and over. We were quite surprised at the number of car seats for 9 months onwards, that only rely on the existing standard seat belt! The Cosatto Le Mans car seat also has the additional feature of being able to recline, which I suppose is useful if you are on a long car journey, otherwise I’m not sure how much I personally will be using this feature. It has a removable washable cover, which has a very attractive pattern, small navy and white checks, I know from experience from looking at quite a few car seats, that some of the seats available at the moment, have quite loud and garish patterns. Advantages: Extremely easy to plug in, very secure fit.
Disadvantages: Nothing major, although it's quite heavy to carry.

..., plugs in, then the rest of the belt goes across the top of the seat back, (it's covered by a padded cloth flap), through large clips on each side which are sturdy and most importantly very easy to reach and to operate, because they're on the top of the seat and not at the bottom where you can't reach them. Last but not least you pull a "tensioning" lever which takes any remaining slack out of the belt and the chair is now totally rock solid! The best thing is I can fit the seat securely on my own, standing in the doorway, whereas other seats we tried ideally needed two people fiddling about either side of the seat to get a nice tight fit. It is quite big and heavy to carry but probably no more so than other seats in this style. I've not found it much of a chore to transfer between cars. The five point harness is dead simple to do... ...The Bebeconfort Iseos is in my opinion the Rolls Royce of car seats. Well padded your little one will have no trouble nodding off in this seat, the padding isnt limited to the seat base the back and adjustable sides have a good covering too. The cover is removable and washes well, although the straps are a bit fiddly to get back on, but no more than any other seat. The sides adjust to make room for you growing baby but this does make the seat rather wide, and encroaches on the space of anyone sitting next to it. The tilt function is really useful for kids that like to doze in the car, no more head rolls, tilt them back and they stay comfy for even a long journey. Advantages: When fixed on isofix point, Zafira car seats can still be pulled forward.
Disadvantages: Does not recline very much.

...the car is VERY simple after a few practise rounds. I can do mine in about half a minute, so I do not mind when hubby has removed it to fit his football cronies in on back seat. The more its removed and replaced the easier it is becomes as the actual car seats become more pliable allowing easier access to isofix points. (guides to the points are supplied) The seat cover can be machine washed but removal of the cover requires a bit of patience. Have just bought one for my other daughter as recent reports show it a very safe and fixing on isofix points takes away alot of operator error when fitting seat... Read review
