Shell Optimax unleaded

Advantages: Higher performance, cleans fuel system as you drive
Disadvantages: None if you dont mind paying a little extra

...In the UK we currently already pay extorniate prices for our petrol so why would i recommend paying even more for what some believe to be nothing more than just advertising hype? Advantages: Look nice and work well.
Disadvantages: Smell strongly and be careful if you have dogs.

On a trip to the local garden centre I spotted bags of Cocoa Shells and thought they would be worth a try. Chocolate Heaven Each bag was 70l and was not particularly heavy to move. The shells are organic and are a by-product of the chocolate industry. I read the instructions which told me to use 1-2 inches spread amongst my plants and to water well after laying it down. Shell petrol stations

Advantages: Excellent petrol, good range of services like airpumps/vacuums etc at most stations
Disadvantages: Ethics? Good employers? Pluspoints!!!

...and give you a smile as you leave etc. They also have a vacuum, carwash and air pump at the station, handy for when you least expected it. I rarely bought goods from the shop as i don't live that far away (about 8miles) so can save my money and wait for 20mins to eat something, but they do have a reasonble selection there. The thing i liked most about shell is the quality of the fuel, i've tried Optimax (more expensive which is why i don't use it everytime) - this is excellent and improves how my car runs almost straight away. Normally however, i just used normal unleaded - since i've used this (and nothing else) in my car, the engine ran quieter and smoother. I have had nothing but problems since their change from the old system of what they termed as "smart points" to what they now laughingly call "Plus points". It simply is not replied to, The other problem that crops up is the syndrome of "It's not really out department, You need to speak to . . ." which is a link to drive you insane after you have gone the same route dozens of times. From the 6th July this year you could no longer use "Smart Points". They implied they would be changed and redeemed for the same "Pluspoints" and to the same value. It is Heinz for Weight Watchers and is in their familiar purple labelled can. It counts as 4.5 points on the WW diet and also as 2 portions of fruit and veg which is what the governments guidelines are, so all you would have to eat is another 3 portions to get you up to your daily fruit and veg quota of 5 per day.
