Upgrade your car stereo to DAB.
Advantages: Cheap upgrade.
Disadvantages: Can be fiddly to install.
...I recently bought one of these to be able to listen to digiatl radio in my car especially planet rock.
It is a relatively easy device to fit if you are fairly confident with working with vehicle electrics. The instructions are helpful though and there is further information available on the revo website (www.revo.co.uk). If you still are unable to install it for just under £50 a professional car stereo installer can fit it for you.
It can be installed one of 2 ways, the first way is via the plugs sockets in the back of your stereo head unit these are called RCA sockets but not all have these. The second way and the way i installed mine was via the FM modulator. This makes use of a redundant FM station and transmits the signal through there.
They originally retailed for the £200 mark but can now be purchased for under £100. Hunt around...

Must have DAB car stereo
Advantages: Great digital sound, looks good, Easy to use
Disadvantages: No CD changer control
...I had been waiting for so long for a DAB car stereo to come on the market without buying any extra hardware. My first inpression when i got it out of the box was good, it blends into any car dash board with its sexy matt finish and it espeicially blends into my dashboard with its red light up buttons as i have a VW passat with the red and blue dash lights.... looks right at home. Some other DAB tuners don't come with any aerials. this one came with a standard windscreen mounted aerial, which was a bit fiddly to stick on but works just as well as the roof mounted ones which can cost you around £60 to buy, and you need to drill hole in your roof and extra fiddly wiring. The radio also came with it's own infared remote control, why you need one i don...

All join in with the Chorus: UC200 stereo pedal from Behringer.
Advantages: Great Value for money, Solidly built,
Disadvantages: battery access is a bit fiddly
...Oh my God, I here you say, not another effects pedal review. Don't worry, there's only one more to go in my collection.
As with the other pedals this one has a solid plastic moulding with a slightly awkward to open battery compartment, accessed by pushing in the pedal hinge pins and lifting it off. Much better to use an external power supply, it saves money and broken fingernails.
So what does a Chorus pedal do?
Well it sits in the line between the guitar and amplifier and alters the signal. Basically it is a modulating effect which adds a slight highlight and a lowlight, to create a softened, even slightly ethereal tone to the sound.
There are four controls that allow you to adjust the effect, Level, Tone, Rate and Depth, an input jack and two outputs so that you can use two amplifiers to create stereo effects. The controls...

Get Connected to the STEREO MC's
Advantages: Good catchy tunes
Disadvantages: I can't find the disc
...I have liked the stereo Mc's for about a decade and had the album, but unfortunately due to my constant moving it got mislaid or lent out and forgotten. Anyhow I was recently asked if I would like a new album, after much deliberation I choose Connected.
***Band Members***
Rob, The Head, Owen If, Cath Coffey, Verona Davis and Andrea Groves.
***Front sleeve and inlay***
The front cover depicts the 6 band members on a stary, stormy night with the moon shining brightly behind them, with the earth looking like it should be the moon. The forground is a wild collection of plants, trees, flowers, mushrooms, a volcano and a snake
The inlay has the lyrics to all 12 songs with white letters on a black background.
***Back Sleeve***
A black background with the playlist written on it in white, nice and simple
***Playlist...

Bobby Digital in my Stereo! Excellent!
Advantages: good album
Disadvantages: nothing
...of nine main members of the Wu-Tang Clan who have produced album as a collective and also have numerous solo ventures. The other members include some well known Rap artists such as Old Dirty Bastard (ODB rest in peace), Method man who worked with Texas a few years ago on an alternative version of their 'Say What You Want' track. They have brought out hundreds of albums including solo and group work. They represent heavy, American Hip Hop and have been around a few decades but are still as raw and original today as they were at the beginning.
The design of the CD case is fairly good with a drawing of a superhero type man (Bobby Digital) in a armoured suit with a massive gun and cars and women in a blaze behind him. The cover is white in colour with a large RZA in pink. There is heaps of other information on the back of the CD case...

Easy as 1, 2, MP3 through your car stereo
Advantages: Your full catalogue of music in the car
Disadvantages: none
...Well this review is for all of you out there who....................
1, have an MP3 player
2, a car with a tape cassette and but no CD player
3, are a music lover
For the rest of you, tell your friends, who fit the above description all about this product. They will most definitely buy you a pint for this one.
We had a car with a cd player and used cd's regularly. We used to say on many many many occasions why o why do stereo manufacturers not put jack plugs\or USB on the front so we could listen to all our music.
After all if they had jack plugs then you could just plug in your MP3 player in. Access to 5000 songs, your favourite playlists .
Anyway we unfortunately wrote off our Honda accord car just before Christmas and had to buy a new one. We bought another second hand Honda, which I will review after we have lived...

If Carlsberg Made Car Stereos...
Advantages: Looks amazing, sounds amazing, fantastic features
Disadvantages: Not a removeable face
...After passing my driving test (First time by the way) and acquiring a hand me down car from my brother (isn't life tough for us younger siblings) I automatically needed something that I could play CDs on as well as keep me entertained in the car, and so a cool head unti was always gonna be on the cards.
However, due to previous experience in car stereos I new that Pioneer/Alpine was generally the way to go if you wanted high quality electronics. I was always pushed away from Sony as it was fairly new to the ICE (in car entertainment) market. But am I glad that I fought the evil grasp of of moral restriction implemented by the evil people of society and finally bought this amazing head unit.
After spending a good week scouring the interenet and car magazines for a decent look head unti I finally discovered the Sony CDX-M8800. It...

An amazing car seat
Advantages: safe, cosy
Disadvantages: none
...Where to buy:
This car seat is readily available. You can buy it from all the shops you'd expect to be able to buy them from including Halfords, mothercare, john lewis', toys r us etc.
What do they cost:
prices vary depending up on offers and stores but usually this car seat retails at £100.
How do they attach?
This car seat is different to many of the others on the market. It clips onto a base which is attached to your car, This makes it easy to get the car seat in and out of the car without waking up the baby. The car seat base is attached by the seat belt securing it in place and a metal leg which keeps it stable.
Are they comfortable?
This car seat is very padded and so a nice cosy seat for your baby. It comes with a head hugger which makes it cosy and safe for a newborn. This headhugger can be removed revealing much...

great car seat
Advantages: see rview
Disadvantages: expense, heavy
...I bought this when I had my baby as it was apparently the best on the market and I really can't find fault with it at all it has been the most reliable of our baby products and can't rate it highly enough.
This car seat is different from others as it is suitable for up to 9 months whilst the majority of others are just up to 6 months.
The seat is well padded and has a 'head hugger' so it is safer for newborns. This headhugger can then be removed once your baby is big enough. The straps also can be adjusted once your baby grows so that it is still safe and comfortable.
The straps are easy to use- at first they were fiddly but once you have the hang of them then you know what you're doing they're easy! once you have strapped your baby in you then pull on the straps to make them tight so that your baby is safetly in place...

A must-see for all of those car mad boys!
Advantages: The soundtrack
Disadvantages: The characters aren't very strong
...When I first watched this film, I thought it was a loud of rubbish. At the time I was convinced it was probably the worst Disney film that I had seen and wasn't bothered about watching it again any time soon. Noah had other plans and I am currently watching it for the hundredth time! I am not sure if it's a case of becoming familiar with something and quite liking it but this film has really grown on me.
The film is based around a famous race car, Lightening Maclean, who gets lost and finds himself in a small town on Route 66 called Radiator Springs. He ends up having to stay in the town after getting arrested and being ordered to fix the road that he broke as a result of wreckless driving. He is desperate to leave and get back in time to win the Piston Cup but as time goes on he makes some great friends. Will he stay and build...
