As I stated at the start of this review, so far this year I have received £40 in rewards from Valued Opinions, not a fortune, but a useful boost to my budget! We are not a particularly 'different' household in as much as we are adults only, own a car, house, dog etc., yet I receive several surveys each week. My grown up daughter is also a member, she has three children, two of school age and a toddler, I think her profile is more useful than mine, as she tends to receive more Valued Opinion surveys than me!! A terrific value car warranty policy.

Advantages: Polite, efficient and accessible

...I was covered by Warranty Direct policies for three years. I made two claims during this time and found the company and employees to be efficient and always courteous. The process was relatively painless, and the last pay-out was for a blown BMW engine. Trainer BMW, my local franchised dealer did not want to know, apart from recommending a new engine at £7000! BMW Customer Services were equally evasive, despite the fact that the cause of the engine failure (Swirl flaps falling from manifold into the engine), is a common fault on 2003=2006 two litre diesel engines. Warranty Direct cooperated fully with me and an excellent independent BMW dealer - Bryn Motor Works Swansea, and the car was returned as good as new. I have no hesitation in recommending Warranty Direct....

Brilliant infant car seat

Advantages: Excellent for safety, comfort and totally practical
Disadvantages: no negatives for this product

...I used this for my daughter and used it from birth right through to the upper weight limit which is actually higher than most other car seats in this category. She always seemed so content in it and happily napped when travelling. The sun canopy is excellent, great for protecting the baby when driving and carrying about. Sun canopy also stores away easily when not in use, remaining attatched but out for the way. I also bought the easybase which made loading and unloading baby from car very quick and easy - especially when its raining which it so often does here. Also purchased mosquito net & Raincover both excellent purchases and in the UK I certainly needed them. I liked the fact that there were internal pads that could be removed as she grew to enable more comfort and space for her within the seat. Covers are easily removed for washing...

...I was persuaded by rachel1431's comprehensive review from 2005 to give Europa Goldcar at Palma airport a try. But as she suggested, I booked directly through their website (http://www.europa-rentacar.es/en) rather than using the broker Carjet. Before booking A couple of things made me hesitate before going ahead. First I'd never heard of them. Not surprising as they only seem to operate in Spain and the Balearic islands. However, their website says they have a fleet of 16,000 cars, renewed every six months. So evidently they're not exactly a small operation. The other thing I wasn't initially happy about was their fuel policy. When you pick up the car they charge you for a full tank of fuel and you get no refund when you return the car, so you should try to leave the tank as empty as possible. I found a lot...

Tunatastic Value

...I absolutely love tuna but I will admit that I am super fussy when it comes to buying it as a lot of them can be quite fishy tasting or way too dark in colour so imagine my surprise to find that my fave tuna happens to be tesco blue n white stripey value pack! The tuna comes in the usual kinda of small tuna tin, kinda like a quarter in height of a tin of beans or something similar. The annoying thing though is that these tins don't come with a ring pull lid so you actually have to hunt out the old tin opener, though saying that it also means you wont end up covered in tuna juise so to speak if its tough to get off! The tin itself has the usual blu and white tesco valus label on it, not the most exciting i'll admit but then its whats inside that counts in the end!! I like that fact that this tuna comes in brine, so when your done...

Tesco Value Gravy - Hit or Miss?

...TESCO VALUE GRAVY I think it's quite likely that most people have a tub or packet of instant gravy or stock cubes etc lurking in the food cupboard somewhere. Perhaps in some homes only to make an appearance once or twice a week with the sunday roast or perhaps with a dinner such as Bangers and mash.. Well ..a couple of shops ago while picking my online order at tesco.com ,I had finished the shop all except going through check out when I remembered that I had run out of gravy during the week. So I thought i'd add some quick but seeing as I always shop to an exact budget and an average price for 200ml of instant gravy can be around 0.70p to just over £1.00 ,It was looking like I might have to take out one of my smaller items to free up some change for the gravy ... However as I am one of those who doesn't usually make gravy anymore...

...Tesco value toilet cleaner I often buy the Tesco value products because I find they usually (but not always) represent good value for money without a real compromise on quality although the packaging is very basic! Product and Packaging? Being one of the value products, the packaging is, as I expected, very basic. It comes in a white plastic 750ml bottle with the name of the product, instructions, warnings and information on the front and that's about it. No fancy pictures or unnecessary information. The screw off top has a child safety cap which means that it's almost impossible for children to open unless they have worked this out for themselves. A value lemon squash.

Advantages: Good taste, recyclable bottle, good price, mixes well.
Disadvantages: It does taste cheap.

...Tesco Value Lemon is provided in a clear plastic bottle with a white screw lid and has a label with the familiar Tesco Value logo and the nutritional information as well as a logo advising that the product is now double concentrated so you only need to use half as much. I keep forgetting that these juices are double concentrated which means I normally end up with a really strong juice and find myself having a few sips and then adding some more water. The bottle is strong and dropping it or bashing it around on the way home from the supermarket shouldn't break it or make a hole at all. This is great if you have children who bash things around (such as my nieces and nephews!). To make this drink just pour some juice in to a glass and add water. I would recommend around 1 part juice to 8 parts water but I like my juice to be fairly strong...
