...The Card Protection Plan (CPP) is a credit card theft insurer. Therefore, if you have a credit card, their service could be invaluable. COST £12 for a year or £30 for 3 years. INSURING You have to register the cards you want to insure, either via the phone or via the net. I've used the phone to register all 6 of my cards. On initially registering, they'll send a handy set of stickers and a keyring to put on things (eg on the keys, mobile, briefcase). Anyone who finds this knows where to send the things to (no danger of strangers getting hold of your address) and the CPP will forward these on. Some card companies do not cover for fraud, but CPP will cover up to 20 cards. ...Sentinel Card Protection does exactly what is says on the tin. It protects your cards. It also protects your wallet, passport, driving licence and more. Just one phone call is all it takes for peace of mind once your cards have been lost/stolen. ...Card buying can be an expensive thing, especially at this time of year and as much as I love the quality of the cards in stores such as Clintons, with my large family I just cannot afford to buy all my family cards from stores such as these at Christmas. So I was pretty impressed with Card Factory opened up a store in my local town recently. For me this store offers good quality products, but at really cost effective prices. Obviously their main market is the card market. They offer cards for all occasions including birthdays, anniversaries, moving, sorry, thank you and general cards too. Their cards are priced at 59p for a small card, 89p for a medium card and 99p for a large card, which for me is excellent value for money. Let's start with the basics, you get 2 points per pound spent at Sainsburys or 1 point per litre of petrol bought at the Sainsbury's petrol garage. Each point accumulated is worth half a penny, so you need 2 points to equal 1 pence. If you redeem your points in store at Sainbury's then you will need minimum 500 points for £2.50 off o your shopping. Points need to be redeemed in increments of 500.
