... THE AUTHOR Tom Leo Clancy Jr. was born on 12th April, 1947 in Maryland, United States. He is famous for his espionage and military science writings, not solely that, but the technical details he uses throughout his works. The majority - if not all - of Clancy's work is set during the Cold War and its aftermath. Interestingly, he co-owns Baltimore Orioles, a major US Baseball team! He studied English Literature though his chief ambition was to serve in the US military, however, he failed an eye exam. As mentioned above, his keen interest in the military can be seen in all of his novels. His name may sound familiar to you: the video game "Rainbow Six/6" was actually a novel by Clancy. Cardinal Hotel - Not Bad, Not Bad

Advantages: Reception, Balcony, Breakfast Bar, Rooms
Disadvantages: First Impression

...expensive journey. Luckily the return trip wasn't the same but it's not like you can argue with them nor do anything. So with my first impression of the locals engraved in stone in my mind I got out of the taxi to find the Cardinal Hotel, St Peters. - The Address The address suggests that the hotel is basically on the door step of the Vatican its self. I have no idea why it was so similar to the address of the actual St Peters because the Cardinal Hotel is on the out skirts of the city. Even one or two of the taxi drivers who had been around for a while weren't sure where it was. To get to the hotel you have to turn off a main road after avoiding some mad traffic (that's how they drive there) into a back street which looks like it has taken a beating over the years and could do with someone tearing it apart and relaying the concrete...

Disadvantages: a couple of tracks not quite at the same high standard

Powerful guitar riffs, emotionally driven screams and the soothing voice of Dallas Green are all a prominent feature. Not Save From Cardinal Sin!

Advantages: The graphics and audio are acceptable
Disadvantages: Limited fun, cumbersome controls

However, this locks movement (and thus fire) to the cardinal directions - such a restriction sure isn't ideal. When alternating between fire and smart-bomb - charged by double-pressing A - the controls feel as if they could do with tightening up. CHALLENGE The shooting elements in Armorine: Project S.W.A.R.M. are not that satisfying. Enemies don't recoil when being shot at, which gives the impression that the weapons are weak. Unfortunately, this seems to be enforced by the game opting for a range (to overcome enemy invulnerabilities), rather than increased firepower, meaning enemies late on take longer to kill, even if they do not possess a greater threat. Advantages: humoourous, imaginative and superbly written

Nice ideas, disappointing gameplay

Advantages: Some good characters. Interactive environments.
Disadvantages: Difficulty varies immensely. Not compelling.

...The backstory to Cardinal Sin is that a woman called Sin stole the artefacts to control the realm, after tricking the populace into holding a tournament to find their strongest fighter, who she promptly killed. The people's solution was to hold another tournament, find another strong fighter and send them off to challenge Sin and retrieve the item (because that worked so well last time?). The game is a 3D beat-em-up, similar to Teken or Soulblade, but set in a fantasy background where the fights take place in the various opponents? lairs. Unfortunately it is not as well designed, and the control system and collision detection is not ideal.
